Thank you so much for following my journey into Rapture! Seriously what an amazing game, characters and plot. I will come back to the Bioshock series soon with Bioshock 2 + DLC and Infinite but for now I hope you guys enjoy my new series Batman: Arkham Asylum (posting soon!)
@@Ares-nt9bu No… 2 is actually amazing. It’s an underrated gem. It’s not game changing like 1 and Infinite are, also Ken Levine wasn’t at the helm of 2 which explains that, but as an addition to the rapture’s saga it works incredibly well. Gameplay and graphical fidelity are beautifully polished. The story is incredibly clever once again. Compared to games in other franchises Bioshock 2 is far ahead of everything else anyways. Go back and play it and that will become apparent very quickly.
Definitely play 2. It is very much a direct sequel and definitely a good play. Infinite strays from the formula quite a bit and was met with mixed responses from fans, and decent reviews from new players. Great games and you should definitely play all 3, but 2 I feel is better than infinite.
@@Ares-nt9buI kind of have to disagree. Without giving away any spoilers, they strayed too far from the first 2 making it feel weird and not quite the same. The DLC was good though.
There are actually 3 endings: Good (save all, but you can harvest 1 and still get this), Bad (harvest more than one, save at least one), and Really Bad (harvest every little sister). This last one is the "Ending 2" that you watched at the end of your vid. But there's not much difference in Bad and Really Bad other than the voice acting. Tennenbaum sounds more sad in the Bad ending, and more angry in the Really Bad ending.
seeing this masterpiece through your emotions was truly beautiful. You have had an exciting journey, you have understood all aspects of this game, you have rejoiced and suffered with the protagonists of the story. Thank you.
Amazing playthrough. This is one of my top favorite game series. If you kill two or more little sisters you get the middle ending. You kill three or more you get the bad ending.
I loved this game and I've watched many playthroughs. The best I'd seen was by Cynthetic and none really came close... until I watched yours. Right up there with the best of the best. Can't wait to see more from this channel. (PS. Glad you got the great ending)
Thank you for the kind words! I will start Bioshock 2 hopefully soon!!

It's a good series and I'm glad you enjoyed the first installment. It does reward you for being a relatively moral person which I always enjoy. You certainly have more gamer skills than I had when I first played it. Good job and I'm glad you enjoyed it. The other two in the series are similar while also being different and as some people have mentioned, the DLC of 3 does a great job of tying things together.
@@KevinAmatt The book has great moments like when someone complains that a spider splicer is climbing the wall. Andrew Ryan replies by saying, " That's fine. People are free to climb the wall if they want to."
25:00 Fontaine: Yep, i do messed up things, i should at least try to somewhat cover it up. Ryan: Messed up things? Nah, it's just good busyness. You should be proud! Really puts things into perspective, isn't it? Fontaine knows he is a villain. Ryan thinks he is a hero.
for future BioShock lets plays if u see/pick up an Audiobook just stay still an listen to it so you get all the lore all the story telling and don't miss codes.
it's kind of ironic that Fontaine called himself "Atlas" and then when he spliced up he turned into a giant...Atlas was one of the Titans in Greek mythology and Atlas was punished by Zeus for rebelling agaisnt him and his punishment was to carry the heavens on his shoulders for all eternity...so seeing Frank as a giant in that structure at the top of Rapture in that form kind embodies that story in a strange ironic way. in regards to fighting fontaine...i find using your powers, the shotgun and rocket launcher are most effective...anything explosive or high damage.
@IDyce88 I know the architecture in Rapture is inspired by Art Deco buildings like Rockefeller Plaza in New York, famous for its big statue of Atlas holding the globe.
Prey - GotY 2017, for me. Dishonored - one of a kind look, story, feel. 100s of hours in both. Needless to say, I echo, and would watch, either of these recommendations. :)
i think it was changed in the remaster, my best guess is that so many people harvested just one to see what it was like, that the dev's decided everyone should get 1 free child murder
Thank you for sharing this. It's been great fun. I second all the "keep going" votes. There's quite a story in front of you. On to this (first) Finale. Here we go! :)
So you wanna start the Arkham series next ? Well, if those are really games that you play for the first time then your tastes are impeccable… Happy that you enjoyed the masterpiece that Bioshock is. 2 is really really good as well I think that it’s incredibly underrated, and the fact that Ken didn’t work on it surprisingly doesn’t show at all in the final product I thought.
I always prefer the good ending. I'm glad its the cannon ending. The bad ending is really bad. A bit wild but I think invading the surface is insane. Also when you go on to the next games play their DLC because they also have pretty cool stories. Can't wait for that. In the meantime enjoy playing Batman. Its not my type of game but I'm sure its great.
I'm a little late to the party but I enjoyed watching your videos at work. I can't believe I beat this game on switch 😂 it was fun but controls are awful! There's no motion aiming which is criminal for this game. I hope you can play the 2nd game too
Congratulations on finishing the first game. Would you kindly play Bioshock 2 and it's excellent Minerva's Den DLC? BS 2 is actually my favorite of the series for it's improved game play and touching story and increases the Rapture lore.
Some people think the good ending is too sweet. I disagree because after the hell Jack and the little sisters went through they more than earned that super optimistic resolution. I think it contrasts nicely with Bioshock 2's ending but I won't talk about that for spoilers incase you haven't played yet.
I hope you can give Bioshock Infinite a try, bioshock 2 was “Okay” but playable. Bioshock infinite is amazing but Bioshock 1 will always be the GOAT. 🐐
I have no idea how you got the good ending! They must have changed something on the remaster. The rule used to be if you kill ANY of the little sisters - you could not get the good ending. Weird.
Please DO NOT PLAY BIOSHOCK 2, you will be disappointed. The characters, story line, combat and voice acting are nowhere near as good as Bioshock 1. Just play Bioshock Infinite. Bioshock Infinite is completely original with new characters, new TIMELINE, new weapons and an excellent story line that is just as good as Bioshock 1. Bioshock 2 should been a DLC and not its own separate game, because it looks, feels, sounds and plays like a cheap knockoff of Bioshock 1.
Hard disagree. Bioshock 2 is still great, and I thought generally combat is regarded as much better in it (since you can use weapon and plasmid at the same time), while Bioshock Infinite is the one criticized as having the worst combat. The Minerva's Den DLC for Bioshock 2 is also regarded as some of the best story work in the series.
Huge disagree. I thought it was fun. The story wasn't as good but it was still a really fun game. I actually dislike people like you telling others not to play it. Just because you didn't enjoy it doesn't mean others wouldn't enjoy it. Let people play the game and let them decide for themselves if they like the game or not.

In the new series Krysttl's superpower is rich
Just play Bioshock Infinite please, Bioshock 2 is disappointing, just read the reviews. But Bioshock Infinite is EXCELLENT!

You only get the bad ending if you kill more than one little sister.
Good to know they allow one just in case.

I really enjoyed your reactions during the game - Karl (voice of Atlas / Fontaine)
Woah, with this, you became one the most memorable voice actors in video games of all time.

Thank you so much for the series, it was beyond amazing, now I'll watch your Batman series and I'm so hyped!!!!
There is a bioshock novel by John Shirley. It tells the story of how Rapture got started, so 8ts fun to read.
Maybe I should grab that!
I’ve got that book. Haven’t read it yet.

Fun fact, Jack is actually younger than the little sisters(!)
How the fuk
I was just thinking that. Jack was 2 when he arrived at Rapture.
The narrow pipe pieces in hacking are just straight pieces that make the ooze flow faster. The spiral pipe pieces make the ooze flow slower.
Now there's a path of:
Bioshock 2 + dlc
Bioshock infinite with 2 DLCs
Don't forget the Bioshock 2 Minerva's Den DLC. It is excellent.
@@FloydFp right!!!
Loving the videos! I fall asleep to them at night
this was such a wild ride, looking forward to future games.
would you kindly have yourself a little celebration for saving everyone
In Bioshock 2 I harvested all the little sisters. Still had a good ending.
Dude really wanted to smoke weed, fill his belly with diet soda and play Burnout Revenge for the PS2.
Mr. Landlord would really enjoy that.

nice work Krystal :D they pranked u with the fake spoilers I guess LOL

great playthrough just watched all vids.🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome, thanks for the live reaction. Bioshock 2 is really good too. Another game i can recommend is ABZU. It's a very beautiful game.
ABZU - What an incredible experience! It's been 7 years! (I looked.) )Now you gonna make me go play it! Thanks! :)
