Does length really matter?.. How long should your slot car braids be?

This was going to be a shorter video this week, but it turned out longer than expected. I have tried all sorts of braid lengths during my time racing slot cars and this video sums up a lot of my findings.

Great stuff, most of which applies to hard body slot cars too. I would just add that you should look along your braids from the front and ensure that the trailing edge is parallel to the the ‘floor’ of the guide and level to each other.
