They can raise the HOA as much as they want forever. I like the amenities and the rules and restrictions/ regulations. Thanks for the information.

Hmm, can we do a Delaware vs Florida comparison for retirement? We heard you have a realtor named Karla who used to live in Florida.🌊🏖

Gee what about Middletown..it has it all...shopping, restaurants, movies , and all the other stores you need...all brand new and still growing...without all the that heavy traffic that is in south Delaware near the beaches...what about a bit farther north, Lums Pond area, Newark...everything in these areas you need only minutes away..low property taxs..no state tax on your SS..no sales tax..so much beauty in Delaware. I love Delaware

Has lots! Not an area to look away from but it is for sure on the rise and has been for a over a decade now it seems.

Which area has the least amount of hot and humid weather in summer? I’m from Georgia and I’m tired of heat and traffic.

Most of DE isn’t going to be more humid than another. Being around lakes, ponds, or oceans can add to some mugginess.

Great feedback on DE some of the central DE towns you mentioned are on my list. Leaving Jersey in a few months. Do the 55 plus developments frown on anyone living with you under 55?

      Not necessarily, no!
Would be happy to discuss more in detail over email 📧

I live in a 55+ community. Anyone 18 and over can live with you, full time. If you’re under 55, with no children, I believe, 20% of the neighborhood can be comprised of this age group. Where I live, there are at least four people with children, ranging from 18 to 24, who live with their parents, as well as a few couples, in their 40’s who live here. All of these young people participate in our various activities and parties, when they are able to do so, and are most welcome. Right now, our neighborhood has about 70 homes. When completed, it’ll be around 260. Oh, we have several of people from New Jersey living here.

If I get pay check in NY but want to stay in Delaware, is it profitable as I am planning to move with family if 4. I can work from home! Schools are 2nd factor to No tax

You sound like a very good realtor but I wonder if you realize how talented you are as an entertainer. It’s very rare to find someone with your on screen presence. They call it the “it factor”. I bet you’d make a superb film actor, standup comedian, or award show host. Just saying.
