Zero days - Security leaks for sale | VPRO Documentary

  • There is new gold to be found on the internet, and possibly in your own computer. Secret backdoors, that do not have a digital lock yet, are being traded at astronomical amounts.
In the cyber world trade, where there are no rules, you are in luck with "white-hat" hackers, who guard your online security. But their opponents, the "black-hat" hackers, have an interest in an unsecure internet, and sell security leaks to the highest bidder. They are the preferred suppliers of security services and cyber defence. Who are these black and white wizards, who fight for the holy grail of hackers: zero days?

In most of the companies, I've worked for, security has never been a focus. Security is not sexy to a manager or salesman. Every time, an Engineer found a security hole, he/she was told "Don't worry about it. Hacking is illegal".
With IOT this is only gonna get worse.

There is a real life story interviewing former NSA Agent who are involved in the Project Olympic Game.
And now they will reactive it like the fraudulent 2020 election in US. They can easily modify the source code to a specific machine like the dominion machine and yet they tell people in US that there is no fraudulent activities in Election compare the total voters in past Election vs 2020 Election you will the incremental of voters which is the not possible to have 11 millions additional for new first time voters or what so ever the reason. It may add 3 million but not 11 million additional voter's what a shame to the US Government who run their Election.

      Hello Constantine,
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we happen to be a Dutch public broadcaster... :)
We understand that not everyone in the world speaks Dutch, that's why we subtitle the documentaries in 3 languages.
An English voice-over would be appreciated, but it's quite expensive to produce, and our documentaries are visible for free.
So it's the best compromise we could find, to bring our content to the rest of the world.
