(Epic Motor) Montgomery Kone Hydraulic Elevator @ JcPenney - Hawthorn Mall - Vernon Hills, IL

(7-25-19) This JCP store has a more interesting layout for its elevator. This one is located more in the center of the store, and has two doors instead of one. It has the typical JCP door design and an epic motor.

This is unique for JCP. Also, I love that there is only one door open and close button set. You only need two sets if both doors open on the same floor.

That's definitely a neat elevator for a JCPenney store elevator. Rear door is pretty cool to see to for a JCPenney elevator. That motor sounds very very similar to the motor on the elevator at Disney's Boardwalk Inn.

@@ElevatingChicago This was a childhood mall of mine. I went here all the time, so I wanted to see all the elevators here and get nice videos of them. I sadly missed the Carson's store, but I didn't go on that elevator as much. I mainly rode the two mall elevators, the one in barnes and noble, and the epic ones in Macys.
