- (7-30-19) Wow, what a piece of junk this thing is... The elevator runs like crap, it smells weird, and you can tell this thing is about ready to fall apart. In addition to it being junky, it's also super weird. A useless call button on the door jamb, a mysterious rear door, and some WHACK floor labeling. Made for quite the interesting ride....

The floor numbering makes perfect sense... considering Star Wars: 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 7, 3.5... and Windows: 3.1, 95, 98, 2000, XP, 7, 8, 10...

OK, now that’s just weird! They really need to fix this thing. Lol. It’s a bummer so many elevators are in this shape. Too bad you didn’t have a key for the mystery floor and mystery call button. Makes me want to see the foam pads on these things. Lol
I don't think the mystery button had actual buttons behind it (or the foam was gone). My guess is one of the keys activates the back door.
They should change 2 to -2
I laughed so much when I saw that Down button in the jamb and that the "second floor" is BELOW the "first floor".

The most weirdest elevator I’ve ever seen!, useless rear door, random floor labeling and then a call button on the door frame!, that’s a weird elevator in Chicago!, somewhere I aught to film someday to see how weird and scary this thing is!
That's a confusing floor setup. I'm guessing somewhere there is a fourth landing. Who knows where though judging by the floor labeling and placement? LOL

This elevator is WEIRD! Usually these are quite nice, but not only do the floors need relabeling, but this whole thing just needs a total mod.

This thing surprises me, Just when I think it can't get any weirder, it does by having an unnecessary call button.

I actually like those KONE fixtures. I’ve filmed a KONE that had those, it was located inside a Macy’s that sadly, recently closed permanently.
They are cool buttons, but are cheap.

Whose idea was it to make 2 the lowest floor?! It's like the people who installed this elevator don't know how to do math and leave random buttons on the outside of the elevator. Very strange elevator installation.

They messed the floors up when they built this.
Kudos to whoever it was for labelling the 2nd floor as the lowest floor.

I’m so confused about this place, the north side of this garage has a very fast set of Kone traction elevators that go from 2 to 7 (seven being the ground level) and stop between 2 and 3 to enter the Pedway and Metra station, but they don’t line up with this one even thought they’re in the same garage, I don’t get it at all, also there are evidently three floors that this elevator doesn’t go to

2,1,3.... Hey this is like a math problem: 3 - 1 = 2... 2 + 1 = 3... That's a weird place for the number 1 usually the first floor for the bottom... Do I dare to ride this?

What the.. They could have simply changed the floors instead of 2,3,1 They were too lazy to install it correctly. Very funny They could have labeled the floors 1,2,3 or is this an underground garage. S,P1,P2 and oooooo an up button on the side of the door frame lets push that instead. Hmm are we going to get our elevator? Nope!
S, P1, P2 makes so much more sense.
