In Basel gehört das Tattoo fest zum Sommerprogramm der Stadt. Während zwei Wochen ist Basel erfüllt von Dudelsackklängen und Trommelrhythmen aus vier Kontinenten. SRF zeigt die internationale Musikshow zum zwölften Mal in voller Länge. Philippe Gerber moderiert die Sendung.

Thank you Switzerland for hosting such a wonderful international Tattoo event. It is like the World Cup for military bands. The fact that so many different countries participated is what it so great.

Klein aber fein empfehle ich die East Frisian Highlandgames, Crest Of Gordon, City OF Bremen Pipes & Drums und andere.

commentary interupting. BBC please take note.

Wenn man bedenkt wie wenig Zeit sie hatten, zusammen zu üben, kommt einem der Schlusseinmarsch einfach unglaublich vor!
Das war eindeutig das beste Basler Tattoo, trotz des Regens und deshalb dieses Jahr wohl nicht ausverkauft! Allerdings hatte es schon sehr viel bessere Schlussongs. Den fand ich etwas gekünstelt übertrieben.

I recommend Bose however as long as they’re noise cancelling you capture such sounds you’d never hear without them..Respect from the United States Of America!! 🇺🇸

Marvelous but some of the bag pipes in the combined groups get carried away with the high notes, they're a bit sharp on the young ears. Highland style low pitch is the way.

Frag doch mal an, wenn ihr ne gute Vorstellung geben könnt nehmen die euch bestimmt. Die Polizei Hamburg war mit ihrer Kunstmotorad Truppe auch da.
Aber andererseits ist das auch ein Zapfenstreich, also kann man verstehen das die eher Militärische Musikkorps da haben wollen.

Les pompiers de Paris faut arrêter avec les daft punk et Stromae ça le fait pas en fanfare...les Champs Elysées c'est beaucoup mieux , faites dans le traditionnel français c'est ce que veulent les etrangers : Piaf , Paris brûle t'il, french cancan , strogoff....

So ich es mitbekommen habe stand aus organisatorischen HGründen am Ende nicht mal fest, ob es überhaupt stattfindet.
