    Such a beautiful truck. I own a 10th gen 2wd extended cab lowered in Harley wheels-I am looking for a low mileage Shamu 2003 HD truck would be my holy grail.
    Love your videos man. They’ve really helped me out with my truck. 💯

    My truck does not like Pennzoil, I was running royal purple already but got the other brand because it was cheaper but I had nothing but smoke coming out the tail pipe from the oil burning easily. I thought I blew a head gasket lol. Once i switched back to royal purple it was back to normal.

      wow, very interesting and odd. I have had such better luck with Pennzoil. Which weight were you using and any mods on your truck?

      @@DrivingIntelligence ever since I got the timing chains done mechanic recommended 10w30 and I’ve been using it ever since just stock

    • @DrivingIntelligence
      @DrivingIntelligence  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think 10W-30 is a much better oil choice for slightly higher mileage vehicles versus the stock recommendation

    Friends and Family thought I would have a H-D truck - rode all Harleys since 73 and still ride .
    You painted some interior parts ?? Maby it was the other truck -Gray interior
    What color of paint did you use
    I have a 2003 do gray
    Thanks man

      Hi and thanks for watching, nothing like a Harley, whether the bike or the truck. ;) I didn't paint the interior of this truck. I did paint the interior of my 2002 F150 XLT 4x4 using both SEM & Duplicolor depending on the project. What are you going to paint?

      @@DrivingIntelligence I’ll be painting the door panels back . Seems who I bought the truck from doesn’t know where the missing rear side panel went . I found one but it was a light gray . Mine are dark gray . 2003 XL Reg Cab

      @@jeffreyeiford2750 OK, I used this color for some of my interior parts in dark graphite: amzn.to/3tYaHL7

    Did you notice any difference with the can tunes from SCT? I'm thinking about getting one, but not sure to or go ahead & upgraded the pulleys & the a tune. I don't want to blow it up 😅

    • @DrivingIntelligence
      @DrivingIntelligence  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      To be honest, the canned tunes from SCT seem to be worthless. But the X4 tuner opens up a lot of possibilities with aftermarket tunes, for example, from 5-Star.

    Super clean truck.If you up the boost dont touch the Upper pulley at all just get yourself a 10 lb lower.This spins the blower the same speed as a Lightning Upper and a 6 lb Lower.A larger intercooler tank is also a must do to keep the computer from pulling timing

      good advice, I'm just not interested in cracking that crank bolt!

      @@DrivingIntelligence Its a bear to get off and you need atleast a 8 ft pole but its a huge gain.Just a Lower pulley and Ported Blower pick up 100hp at the tire totally changing the truck.

      @@bigdaddy5212 I hear you... part of my problem is also trying to keep it as stock as possible. I have so many stock parts laying around from projects on all my rides.

    Great Truck !
    How would you like to add another non molested identical truck to your collection that has 8110 miles on it?
    I'm getting rid of it quite frankly because I never drive it like I should and had some health issues come up which prevents me from doing what I had planned when I retired, reach out if you're intrested.
