Minnesota Pacifica limited mom here! The FWD is not a big a deal. We switch out for snow tires in the winter and because the car is so heavy, it actually performs waaay better than any AWD SUV I’ve owned. I love this minivan!
Hope you don't have problems. For one year this was the best vehicle I have owned. Since then it has been in the shop for over 8 months and I still don't have the vehicle fixed.
I’ve owned 2 Chrysler minivans and both had catastrophic failures at around 150k miles. Stow and go is a cool gimmick but those second row seats broke after a few years and could no longer be stowed into the floor, not to mention the seat construction made them feel like sitting on cardboard. The Honda and Toyota minivans are much more reliable and comfortable.
Great review, I have a Pacifica Touring L PHEV and love it. I really wanted to get a 100% electric vehicle, but just don’t feel the charging network for road-trips is ready (yet). My FWD PHEV is great in the snow in upstate NY with studded snow tires.
Love your videos!! My husband and I purchased a 2019 GMC Acadia SLE-2 and we love it! We purchased one with a bench seat, the third row only has two seats, ceiling vents, and a car seat tilt in the second row. We love it! Your videos really helped us decide what we wanted. Would love to hear your thoughts if you ever review an Acadia!
I drive an XC90 but were considering a hybrid minivan. I've booked the Sienna but keep coming back to the Pacifica since it is a PHEV. My biggest concern is the technical issues some consumers have listed and also the recall that's in place for the battery combustion issue. I still have an 11 month wait on the Sienna, in the meanwhile searching for some long term consumer reviews of this vehicle.
Great job on the video. I have a 2022 Pacifica Hybrid limited. I couldn’t get over the Pinnacle seat color to pull the trigger on purchasing it. I thought it was tooo orange as well. After being in a 2022 Toyota Sienna for a few weeks, I do wish the Pacifica had more storage space in the front. I loved the ledge and the 4 cup holders lol.. maybe next model? Hey Chrysler if your reading this, mom’s need more space to put things up front.
Hey Kelly, your answer to the back seats infotainment screen in the roof and a sunroof: BMW 7 series 2023. I bet we will start seeing it featured in larger cars soon.
I was so hopeful for this van.......I purchased a 2022 with the hope of being able to use battery-power to operate the AC for a short period, so that I could leave my dog inside without running the engine, and, the salesperson assured it was possible. BUT, the problem is it does not have "battery save" feature, so as soon as you drive 32 miles, the battery is completely drained, and engine won't re-charge.....unlike in vehicle like Volvo plug-in. Otherwise, very spacious and comfortable, though road noise was more than II expected.
Wait, so I've been shopping for a minivan for a while and was leaning toward a Pacifica. The new Hybrid models DON'T have stow and go seats for the second row?! Or is it just the Pinnacle trim model? Why would they remove that on the most expensive and luxurious model?
@@NeverendingBlonde Actually it does more than the Sienna since it has a bigger battery that can store more regen energy on long stretch of downhills. See Alex on Auto review.
Yoo hoo 😘 Any chance we’ll get to see reviews of the smaller sports cars like Nissan, Toyota, Audi, Subaru? You mentioned you would do broader reviews like this for us. Than you! 🌹
We bought a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Limited S two weeks ago. The engine shut down/stalled while driving on the freeway and the van had a massive electrical malfunction. This happened dozens of times on surface streets as well. Chrysler took the car for a week, couldn’t “recreate” the stall and gave it back to us. The next day, back to stalling. Terrifying to have you car shut off while driving 65 miles per hour on the freeway with your children in it. Live Videos of electrical malfunction on my channel
These vehicles probably need a Technical Service Bulletin issued to address the sudden accelerator failure these vehicles may experience on freeways....
I have been watching videos day and night, I am trying to find a vehicle that would be best for 2 infant car seats, a toddler car seat and room for a 10 and 8 year old. 🫠 I have been back and forth between all the minivans and the expedition and still can’t figure out which is best.
Had the 2021 hybrid pacifica - the proximity alarms almost made us crash that thing! Scared us to death thr first time. Not a fan of that. Van itself was nice but ended up not keeping it.
Correct me if I’m wrong but the Pacifica hybrid is still a “hybrid” even after the initial battery only power is gone. Meaning, it still runs battery/gas after the first 32 miles.
I as a dad I really perfure the V8 Gmc Yukon it's more bigger. Nice video but for parent's who have more than 2 kid's which I have 13 yes older ones. Great video but families need a v8 Suvs
Is there literally anyone out there who would buy a Pacifica with its atrocious reliability? The only play here is a lease if you live real close to the dealership.
And it's not really fuel efficient. People are getting less than 5L/100km (or 50mpg) in this. Probably even better for daily commute with months without fueling up. If only it's a Toyota.
Her speech cadence is one of my favorite things about her. When your brain is turbo-charged and firing on all cylinders you talk faster. I appreciate it.

MN Mom too! We love out Pacifica Hybrid Limited! We use all weather tires. We’ve never had any issues.
Hope you don't have problems. For one year this was the best vehicle I have owned. Since then it has been in the shop for over 8 months and I still don't have the vehicle fixed.
Have a Pacifica PHEV in rural upstate NY, put studded snows on in winter and it’s been great in the snow
This is really helpful. I was a bit worried about that (WI mom and soon to be Pacifica PHEV owner). thx!

She has a great personality. She actually takes herself seriously when she talks. She is very nerdy and detail oriented. Subscribed.
Thirst is real
Dang! Stow and go is the best! I put 2 in the back, baby in the middle row, and stow the other middle seat and the space is perfect
Your sister doing the outro had me rolling. Love it so much.
Lizz coming in clutch at the end though 👌🏼👏🏼
Love your channel! And fun fact, I’m one of the commercial actors in the current Pacifica campaign.
We need a Car Mom score like the Doug score for Doug demuro!
Yes!!
I'm single and I drive a minivan. I love it cuz it can haul ladders and tools at a construction site and take the guys to the lake in the same day.
I love the interior color!!! I agree you should do like a score card at the end!

Love all your videos. Can you do a Dodge Durango??
We need more videos! 🙏 I love your channel!
Pacifica Limited has ceiling vents and tri pane panoramic sunroof :) best of both worlds
Doesnt it have a vacuum???? Or just the non hybrid?
Does a forward facing car seat fit easier in the third row if you have the head rest folded down?
What about the powertrain in that car? How many cylinders the gas engine is, how many horsepower and pounds feet of torque they produce?
Any chance your rear tvs have stopped working?
good job on explaining in detail.
Beautiful van really nice legroom, my girls are going to be tall one day so that will be ideal if I decide to get a minivan
My wife and I love your videos. Any chance you could do a review of the Cadillac Lyriq?
The end bit was fun
Will you recommend this vehicle when traveling from Houston to Dallas 2x per week?

@Frank Dux it does, but doesn’t regenerate enough to make a difference.

Hybrid doesn't have stow n go because the battery sits underneath, leaving no space to fold in the seats. All trims of the PacHy.
Can you review the Honda accord?
Great video
Correction...once the electric is used up, it operates like a standard hybrid vehicle. Not ICE
Not exactly, the battery does not regenerate itself as much as the Sienna does.
It actually regenerate the electricity. However, for pacifica phev, 1° can only run 2 miles.
@@NeverendingBlonde Actually it does more than the Sienna since it has a bigger battery that can store more regen energy on long stretch of downhills. See Alex on Auto review.

Have you reviewed the Kia Carnival yet?
I was on the fence about the interior color. Thanks for posting this video because now I think I prefer the black leather option
That orange interior is a little funky
Do you do many base model reviews?
After seeing this review and the ford lightning it’s a shame ford hasn’t brought back the wind star

Hybrid version needs to have 8 seat option and to be on sale in EU:)!!
How long does it take to fully charge?
overnight for level 1 and 2 to 3 hours level 2
does the third row seat fold down into floor ???????????
yes it does

Yes, correct. You will find the electric range go up from 0km if you are travelling down hill.
Nice
I’ve heard that quite often the Pacifica hybrid model is often a can of worms, with problems galore.
