- In this video i take the concept of a "Home Bar" to another level. I make a custom liquor cabinet with glass doors, drawers, and a mini fridge. To take it to another level I run a custom beer tap and cold brew coffee on Nitro, thru the walls! This build was a blast and is going to be a ton of fun in the future!

Beer and coffee!!! Perfect combo! Amazing job! Looks killer!
Omg. Cold brew coffee tap!!!! Good idea
If anyone from DIY or HGTV is out there watching.....GIVE THIS MAN A SHOW!!!!!!!
Love your videos my man.
He already has his own show
Coffee on tap is the dream!!
Great job gents. Owning a beer tap is an experience and education. Keep the beer lines insulated and CLEAN. Our home bar has a double-tap. 👍 Keep up the good work.
Thank you my friends!
Tyler Childers house on fire. Love your builds man.
I am literally standing and applauding! F*** yeah fellow yinzer
Love that !!
Good job I love it
Thank you my friend
Hey bud, the thing with the beer line is not just keeping it insulatiled, but more so actively chilled, when the beer sits in the line between the barrel and point of dispense it gets warm quick, that means bacteria and foamy beer. Just a heads up 🤘
Great tip!!
Great idea, neat execution. Well done, brother Malec(z)ki!
Sweet Mother Of Pearl, what will you create next?!!! Ingenious!
Stay healthy,
DC
Thanks Dan , next will probably be something no one cares about haha
Love the fridge packed with Waterloo..... it's the best!
I love me some Bubble water
That kegerator in the basement is the exact same unit from Sears (Kenmore) that my wifey bought me 25 years ago. Great vids sir!
When things finally cool down enough to move, I definitely want to do this at the new place!
Your BEST video yet! Love it!
What a dream to drink some IPA at 5pm!!! Herein Brazil we usually have our happy hour at 6pm!!
Awesome video brother!
The coffee looks really good with all that foam.
Nothing says Pittsburgh like coffee & beer in your living room! I love it. Great video John.👍
You got that right!
Pittsburgh Hype
Tyler Childers....house fire. I think it’s from his Country Squire album. Still #1 playing in my shop.
Great Build John!
This is friggin awesome
i was planning to build myself a studio/cinema room in my garden and now after watching this im now looking at beer taps and supplies ! :D
Randomly stumbled upon this video - found it very entertaining and got some ideas on how i'm going to route my kegerator from the other room, thanks! Also, bought your Yinz shirt, that's awesome!
Luv me a bit of Cold brew Coffee!! Brilliant idea !
John, you are the most entertaining woodworker I watch on the youtubes!! I frickin love your content!! And, I've learned a little bit from you. I'm also a woodworker (nowhere near your skill level) and I love what I do!! Thanks for the awesome videos!
From Arnold Rustics in Ohio (less than an hour from you)
Way late to this party, but this is an amazing build. I love your videos and this one has some of my most favorite things -- beer (IPAs at that!), Black Rifle Coffee (cold brew too!) & Pittsburgh (a Steeler to boot!). Thanks John. I absolutely could not love this more!
Brew gentleman, peppers n at, superior motors.. my neck of the woods as well.. also using bunker branding my man. RIP to his bro.
Awesome idea. This is going in my new house. Love your energy and enthusiasm
NICE! I needed you while I was building my basement bar! lol! cheers man!
Everyone should buy that mini fridge, for fact that shelf is holding on to dear life.
I love that your home looks exactly like every other pittsburgh home still
GOALS!!!
I always feel like I'm watching the live version of "Tool Time" except your builds don't end in the ER! If I ever find myself in Pennsylvania again I would love to buy you a beer or two or three. Thanks again for the laughs and for sharing your talent, great build as always!

At this point the Norm glasses are a fashion statement. 👌
Hell ya my dude
Cool all day! What no sink. Still like!
Sink didnt make sense here since its so close to the kitchen
A plumbed coffee bar? Dude! 👍🏻
Total understand. The two go together like peas and carrots, just like you and Sam!
Cheeseie, please! Have good day
Hahaha yes !
Thanks for sharing, this is an awesome job! Suggestion; make some fancy name plates mounted on the wall above the handles, one that says "AM" and the other says "PM". :)
I really enjoy the fact that you hardly use mails or screws on a majority of your builds. Definitely awesome work 👏 🍻
Coffee on tap??? Brilliant idea 💡👏
I laughed out loud a couple of times watching this. Love how much fun you're having, dude!
Looks awesome, friggin amazing John! 😃👌🏻☕🍺👍🏻👊🏻
THanks Fred !
Perfect project brother's 🙏👌👌👌👌👌
I swear whenever I need a pick me up... I watch one of your videos! Thanks for being you 🤣🤣🤣
Question for you.
With the extended lines do you end up pulling warm beer for first few seconds each pour?
BRC on tap....... I LOVE that idea!
You need one !
John Malecki lol, I do! While watching the video I was thinking the same thing.
Any caffeine addict dream!
You just set a new standard for my future home ☕️
I've thought about doing this, and now it's gonna happen! Saved for later
You became a hero
Awsome just brilliant. Love the videos keep up with the great content
Thanks Cody! Really glad you dig it !
*drops phone and heads to workshop after seeing this at 1am!*
You're a lot more brave than me. You never know what those old walls & paint are made from.
I love I have the same sense of humour as this guy.
Finally somebody else who drinks more coffee than me and I am not Brazilian
Beer tap ... check coffee tap ... check... what goals are left?!
Can’t wait to see what is next!
Just do it all again. bigger haha
When I get my new workshop built I think you inspired me to put these in the maker loft going on the 2nd floor!
Pizza oven in the bedroom.... Just spitballin.
This has giving me a great idea!
You inspired me to drink a 9% IPA. So I ventured to my garage fridge and day dreamed about putting a tap in. Well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Freaking awesome as usual!!
😮
I need it!!! 😱
Stay safe there! 🖖😊
Awesome job. Now I'm lookin for a spot in my house 🤪. What color was that stain. I loved it
The Kevin James of woodworking.
Great build and you crack me up man!! hahaha thanks!
Great stuff! Watched it twice- second time at 0.5 speed. Absolutely hilarious to hear normal drunk voice and chipmunk voice (and no, I wasn't drinking when watching!)
You should try it on the 3rd time while drunk! hahah thanks my friend, glad you enjoyed
John, you're giving me so many ideas on projects that I'm basically going to have to build a shop just to keep up, and I've only been doing woodworking for a couple of weeks now. Do you have an email for people to contact you for tips/help/requests?
Didn’t realize yinz were in PGH! Do you guys ever do fan meet ups at your shop? Keep up the awesome work
Well as of right now no hahah but mybe this fall
How do you access the tap behind the tile wall to attach hose and tighten the tap nut?
Really nice project man 😎✌
Thanks! 👍
As a barman I approve
@ John Malecki did you have to run a glycol system to keep beer cold in the lines due to the long run?
Brother great build. I'd ask your local brewer what PSI they recommend on that beer. Also did you insulate or at least put mold resistant dry wall up. Both of thos shanks will sweat with the temperature changes in the house.
Love the titans of mavs shirt
My brother in law and I work together doing Hvac for his company and I feel exactly like I am Sam so Sam I appreciate you bro this channel is fu$&!$? AWESOME!!!!
Sweet baby Jesus I'd never leave the house!
How much warm liquid do you have to discard from the lines to get to the freshly cold stuff from the kegerator?
So since your running the lines quite a distance to the tap, is there any issue with the beer and coffee in the lines between the keg and tap?Seems like it would get luke warm and would have to be bled (for lack of a better term) to get that good cold stuff, and that’s just a waste of good coffee and beer.
A friend of mine was watching this video and he said you're from Pittsburgh, so I had to find the video and give you a sub.
Corona Virus started with this keg. LOL great line.
For the beer did you use co2 only or blend co2 with nitrogen ?
oh man, I went to college in Pittsburgh and one of my classmates was from Johnstown, PA... He was the first person that I heard say the word "Yinz" for me... and me being from NY, I say "Youz"... I miss that guy!
He sounds like my kind of dude !
I am sure someone has already said this, but I think the taps needs to be switched. The tap on the right is very much a beer tap! I only wish I had space in my house to be able to do the same.. very envious !
the taps are actually 100% correct, the beer tap is made for pouring beer that is pressurized with only C02, the tap for the coffee is the proper tap for something on NITRO.
Stand corrected. It’s the fact that the tap on the right has the ability to add more ‘head’ if you push it back on itself. Still very jealous..
How did you get started into woodworking?
Woodworking, beer, coffee and cooking all in one video.... My mind has been blown, a good kind of blown, kind of like.....well you know.
Is that plastic like a vacuum sealed clamp for the veneer? I’ve seen it in a few of your videos just curious how it works.
19:55 asks s/o for permission to drink LOL
Love the @tylerchilders humming along about 6 mins in lol
"Is it okay if I drink this early?" - No answer = Yes. #True
I've been planning to do this same project in my home! Love the video - thanks for posting. How are the lines working? The places I called for parts said I would need a glycol chiller for running 10', which is not in my current budget.. Conduit and insulation enough?
90% of his two lines are outside the refrigerator so his taps will eventually be warm and all that new refrigerated beer and coffee that left the kegarator is going to be warm, frothy and stale until he purges all the product that sat in the tubing.
Smart move waiting until you can afford to do it right.
Can you do another video to show us how to do this in our igloos in Canada?
What type of spray to do you use
This is so Rad
