I loved Mo, so under appreciated, great musician, song writer and the voice that made that wonderful harmony come to life.

RIGHT ON! MO! He was so Brilliant!
So Much More than ppl know! He perfered to stay behind the scenes and let Barry & Robin Duke it out for
The spotlight... Always being The "Man in the Middle!" (Another of his songs)... Always keeping Everyone grounded & together! He had an exceptional talent from age 4... of the structure of music... and many in the business came to Mo, for His humble expertise! Especially in the
Early days, when Mo was involved w/ groundbreaking techniques, that
Ppl would always say, go to Mo... Gibb... he always brought the music together! Man in the Middle! Barry wrote oh so many lyrics, and w/ his guitar would find melodies. Robin had such a unique voice... but he could also play almost every instrument.. even though we do not see him display that. But it was Mo,
Who had a real talent of bringing it all together! And he really lived as the Man in the Middle, of Barry & Robin. I think that one is from '97 as well. Great Reaction! Thanks for
Giving the Beloved Mo Gibb, some
    Love. He deserves it! ♥️

They did music into the 2000s actually. Maurice sang lead on some other songs including Man In The Middle, which you might like to check out. It is also a powerful song. Their last album together was This is Where I Came In, in 2001 and Barry did two albums since both of is brothers passed away. Greenfields and In The Now. more in the country genre, which he always loved. He even did a performance at the Grand Ole Opry after Robin passed away. Between them together, individually and what they wrote and/or performed with other artists like Barbra Striesand, Celine Dion, Dionne Warwick, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, Diana Ross...the have a catalog of more than a 1000 songs.

Mo was the glue that held them together and kept the strong personalities of Barry and Robin from butting heads. He was by far the best musician. Barry played rhythm guitar. Robin could play organ, guitar and mainly piano to compose but never did on stage since very early in their career. Barry and Robin did a lot of the composing while Maurice took their compositions and put them to music. He could harmonise naturally and instantaneously to everything they wrote. He was self taught but couldn't read music (none of them could) and his bass and piano were wonderful. Some piano parts in their early LP's like Odessa and Trafalgar sounded almost classical. Sadly Mo could likely still be with us was it not for medical malpractice, which the hospital admitted. BTW, the lead guitarist Alan Kendall was with them for years from 1971 to 1980 and again from 1987 to 2001.

This song is beautiful. Love everything about it. They also had their final album in 2001 This Is Where I Came In. Love that one too and the video is a 4 min version of their life. There is also one of their older songs Mo does with Lulu called Wedding Day. Beautiful. Just food for thought.

Eu simplesmente amo os Bee Gees. São de longe os melhores e é muito bom assistir reações às suas lindas músicas. Maurice também canta "Man in The Middle". Seu catálogo de músicas é tão grande e tão bom que eu poderia fazer uma lista quase interminável. Ouçam "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?", "Alone", "I Could not Love You More", "From Whom the Bell Tols", "Nigths on Broadway", "Fanny Be Tender".... Obrigada por manter vivo o talento desses irmãos incríveis! Abraço do Brasil 🇧🇷

I would like to suggest their medley from the "One for all" tour in Melbourne in 1989. IMO far better than the "One Night Only" concerts. Bits of their own songs and those they wrote for others and all around one mic with just Barry's guitar. A chance to feature each brother and their interaction.

Their last album was in the 2000’s and it’s another sound as well. They did a live version of THIS IS WHERE I CAME IN on a German Wetten Dass TV show that was excellent. Robin took the lead singing with Mo and Barry on guitar. They were much older but still sound and looked great. Barry really aged well❤.
