Beethoven Fidelio and Mozart Die Zauberflöte. Those are two of my favorites. Can you try to do them in as many languages as you can find? So far I have found Fidelio in the original German, English, French, Italian, Czech, and Russian. And I have found Die Zauberflöte in the original German, Italian, French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Hope to find it in Russian and Czech. I hope to find Fidelio in Spanish.
I don't expect you to still be reading comments on this now-3 year old video, but if you are, let me extend a heartfelt thanks to you for posting this wonderful videoscore of this masterpiece.
for the people who are interested, this is the version with Stratas starring as Lulu, Riegel as Alwa and Mazura as Doktor Schön, Boulez conducting the Paris Opera Orchestra, in the world premiere of the entire work completed by Cerha.
Not sure of an exact translation, but here is a summary (based on what i remember): The painter says to Lulu that the post is here. His post says that one of his paintings sold for 50,000 marks, making it the third painting he has sold since him and Lulu got married. Lulu opens her letter and it's a wedding invitation for the wedding of a Count's daughter to Dr Schon, which presumably makes her jealous. The painter says they should send their congratulations, and Lulu says 'why should we', and the painter goes off to work.
This is one of the worst pieces of music I’ve heard, I don’t know why we’re forced to listen to this for Alevel. You’ve done a really good job with the score video but my god I hate the Bergs.

Thank you. This is very useful.
:o i am so glad you like this!
It's great to be able to follow the score all the way through. Too bad, however, one doesn't know one thing about who's singing, conducting, playing.
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH

Thank you very much, It is a real pleasure,
I like Berg the most of the serialists. He found a way to dramatically contextualize the form making it palatable to the ear .

Very boring music... I need more BTS and BLACK PINK.
