Can you take a day trip to Orlando and Disney World from Jacksonville? Is Orlando and Disney World too far for a day trip from Jacksonville?
Yes, depending on where you are in Jacksonville, it is about a 2-2 1/2 hours to Disney World/Orlando. It would be a long day, but we have done it!! Let me know if I can help!
I miss Jacksonville, I lived there 2000-2007 while I was stationed NAS Jacksonville in the Navy.
It has changed so much since then...constant growth.
Yeah that’s what I’ve heard. I also heard that the landing was completely demolished which was very hard for me to believe. Well all the best to you all.

@@osaji922 no in winter it can be warm a few months but the extreme heat starts like mid May until about late September

I’m potentially moving there soon as well if this job offer comes thru , I don’t know much about the city but definitely want to be in the safest areas , I’ve researched that there is a lot of crime in certain parts of town

Thank you for your input! Can you tell me what suburbs are nice (low crime, safe, but not too expensive)? I'm living in MA but thinking of visiting JAX next week on my vacay. I'm really considering moving to FL and would like to check out the area there first. Thanks!
What I can do is give you a list of homes in around Jacksonville and while you are here, you can drive the area. I am not sure if you are aware but Jacksonville is the largest city area.. it is spread out a lot. What is your price point, what is important to you to be close to..... restaurants, shopping, beaches, downtown, etc
@@angelcutshallrealtor Thank you for responding. Yes I heard about Jax being a very large spread out city. I wouldn't want anything downtown, but I'd rather be in a decent area just outside the city, yet not too far from things if that makes sense. I got pre-approved here in MA just recently, but only for $280k. That would only get me a townhouse/condo here, but there I saw some nice-looking homes for that amount.

Greetings from Oregon. Wow..where do I begin? i don't know anyone in Jacksonville but upon my research the weather there is by far the best in all of FL due to it's cooler than most of the state. I have a Aunt that lives 4 hrs south and a few ex Calif classmates that lives in St. Augustine area. My 2 sisters and their kids as well as my BFF lives 9 hours north in VA so that's nice I can visit them on a weekend. I am wanting to move my family there (daughter is going to Orlando though) and I just don't know what is the best part of town really is. Photos of homes online is great but location/safer area/appealing etc etc is what I'm looking for. Any help would be great. Thank you.
