    Ive done this procedure with the same machine. Makes my fave looks puffier.

      Hi. By puffier do you mean plumper more youthful skin or is it a negative? I didn’t find it plumped my skin but it did lift my jowl area very nicely.

      @@thehonestchannel this is just the 3rd day. May face feels swollen puffier on the inside. Makes me looks fat on my face.

      @@ako6866 Ah, I got a bit of redness and tenderness which settled down quite quickly so hopefully yours will too. Would love to hear if you’re happy with the final result.

    Wow, just found you on here. Really enjoyed this video as I’ve got a consultation on Wednesday. My main concern is I’m prone to perioral dermatitis so I’d hate the laser to stir the pot so to speak... thank you 😊

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good luck with the consultation. I think you should be okay because the ultrasound targets the deeper layers of the skin so you should get much of a reaction on the surface. I didn’t notice any irritation - just a little heat in parts on the first couple of days

    Can you please tell me how long the dryness from tixel lasts? Is it just a few days? I am getting it done next week and am a little worried as it was the drying affect from retinol that gave me wrinkles so am worried drying it again may make more Thank you

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The swelling lasted a few days and the dryness was easily covered after that time as well. I’ve actually had 5 Tixel sessions in total and it has helped reduce the excess skin on my upper eyelids but does thin the skin for a period of time. For wrinkles they may not have to go quite so hard at it so this may not be an issue. It’s definitely something you should speak to the practitioner about though. I’d love to hear how you get on.

    • @dandelions2414

      @@thehonestchannel Thank you for replying. Was the thinning skin it gave you on the upper lid or also the under eye area? I already have thin skin under my eyes from the retinol so that makes me a little hesitant. Did the thin skin come good after a short while? It appeared your eye wrinkles improved a lot. Did you also treat the neck or other areas or just the eyes? I am getting it on my neck too but it is also quite thin there..did you get thinning only on eye area? Thank you

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dandelions2414 I just got it around my eyes and I didn’t notice too much thinning underneath. The thinning on the upper lid I think came with the number and intensity of treatments I had. That’s why I would only use a trusted practitioner who you can have an honest conversation with about this and who really understands that technology and its effects. They can do up to three passes so, for instance, your practitioner may choose to just do a couple for wrinkles.

      Hi Maria. I don’t know which country you live in. I had this done at the Face and Body Clinic in Edinburgh. There are several clinics in the UK offering this - and lots more in major cities around the world. Best idea would be to Google ‘Ultherapy’ along with your city or country and see what’s listed.

    I had ultheraphy a week ago so i am hoping my results improve in the next 3 months. I was told it takes time..but I already see facial fat loss...I was told before the procedure that I might have facial fat loss, but I can go for dermal filler injections after a few weeks. my skin does look better..and more refresh and healthy and. I didn't find it to procedure to painful .but if you worried about facial fat loss..you might want to rethink your choice in a non surgical procedure.

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I do think it’s a real risk with Ultherapy - unless you want to get rid of some fat. I think I lost a little fat under my chin which I was actually quite happy about!

    Did she use numbing cream all over your face and neck? And did she do 4.5mm all over?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to take ibuprofen beforehand as the tingling and discomfort is felt in the deeper skin layers so a topical numbing cream wouldn’t help much. She adjusted the depth as shown in the video to treat different areas, which I believe is best practice. Hope that helps.

      Yes, there is already a three-month update on the channel here th-cam.com/video/Yh2u_DUuSwE/w-d-xo.html and I will update again at six months. So far I'm really pleased with the results - there is an obvious lift in my jowl and my skin is in really good condition at the moment.

    No numbing?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It targets your deep skin tissue so topical numbing doesn't help, unfortunately. It's not uncomfortable on the surface of the skin.
