    I think I saw you on Endeavour OS forums. Good work brother !

    Love the content! Keep up the good work. Could I recommend always also limiting the FPS? I mean, the Darkness 2 is at 46 FPS, if we follow the Steam Deck idea, we could limit it to 30FPS or maybe 40 FPS, that would leave the frametime very stable! I just love this type of content which is trying to find the PERFECT configuration.

      Thank you, I appreciate that.
      I myself would prefer a framecap to an unstable frame rate at any time. But for this video I wanted to find out how fast the games can run with a reasonable setting. In the future there will be an overlay in the gameplay sections with the exact settings.
      Let me know if you have any further feedback. I'm still in the discovery phase about the style and exact content of my videos and would be grateful for any help :-)

    I mean, even Yakuza is playable if you don't mind the 30FPS hahaha

      You could play it with a 30 FPS lock. But it feels very laggy compared to other games with 30 FPS. Especially if you've already played it at 60, it's no longer fun at 30.

    now try it with a budget/low end SFF GPU.

      I will! I've already ordered another 4 GB RAM stick to test the iGPU with dual channel and a AMD Radeon R5 430 dGPU.

    Why ubuntu? Using something like Bazzite makes Steam detect that you are using a steamdeck and will use an optimized version of the game that is steamdeck verified

      I love Bazzite and plan to use it in a video soon. But if somebody want to use a PC not just for gaming but generally as a PC, I think a classic Linux distro is the better choice. At least in terms of gaming performance it doesn't seem to be any significant differenca compared to a classic distro according to a test from @TheLinuxEXP :

    Is that an nvme slot? You could put an egpu adapter in there xD (or i dunno, bruh there's a pcie slot where an LP graphics card could go)

    • @LowBudgetLinuxGaming
      @LowBudgetLinuxGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, it has an NVMe slot. Check out my other videos, there is a video where I upgraded this PC with a cheap low profile GPU.

      @@LowBudgetLinuxGaming ah nice, let's go :D Seen some videos where people upgrade this thing but use windows but it's way cooler with Linux ofc 🤣

    i3-6100U can go up to only 2.3 GHz. MangoHUD shows 3.7GHz. This PC has a different CPU.

      Because it's a regular 6100 without the u suffix. The „u“ indicates low power versions of the regular CPUs.

    If you equip the CPU with a better CPU cooler, do you think you could get more out of the CPU? It would be interesting to see what performance you can get with a more effective fan compared to the standard fan. Is the standard fan actually very loud when gaming?

    • @LowBudgetLinuxGaming
      @LowBudgetLinuxGaming  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The CPU does not get really hot and the fan almost unnoticeable. I don't think that better cooling would improve anything since the CPU is not thermal throttling and the weak iGPU that runs with single channel RAM is the main bottleneck. I already bought additional RAM and a low profile GPU for an upcoming video.
