Wanna have some fun at over night parking area? Get some full size cutout of a face, and tape/stick it on front side window, or even front windshield window, maybe cutout hands on each side of it, like someone with hands on window peering in. The person wakes up next morning, starts to get into the front, and suddenly freak out thinking someone is standing there peeking in at them. For anyone messing with van while sleeping, get a "big red panic button", install near bed. You have 12v storage battery, so can run power from battery, to the button, and then to a horn mounted under rear of van behind the rear bumper. You can hit that button, hold it long as needed to draw attention to him, scare the "intruder" away, them move to a new spot for the night. If worried about someone busting a front window, to unlock the door to get inside, can put strong eye hooks near lower back corner of each door, and have a chain to hook, going behind the seats, from door to door, and thief can't open either door then. If really worried, get a less than $100 cattle prod for someone reaching through the busted window. Feels like he just got tasered.
I hate states with yearly inspection stickers. In Maryland you get it inspected on purchase, then never again, and no ugly window sticker. My 2003 I bought in 2004 has never been state inspected again since then. I keep it up well myself anyway. Florida is the same, no yearly inspection required. Florida got rid of such by referendum decades ago. However, if a car has obvious problem, an officer can give you a repair ticket, which then you have to visit court and show them repair receipt to prove it's "road worthy" again.
We stayed in Walmart in lancaster California for like three nights. We parked way over by a exit drive. Security went by they never bothered us
Yeah I wouldn't recommend doing that in MA
