I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing. I used to go to Allegany frequently when I was a young guy. Good friends had a cabin just inside the park near Red House when it was still allowable to own cabins there. So much fun. I want to go and try the trail you are on as I just recently retired. Again, thanks and great job.

Something about catching those fish in tiny little puddles is so much fun!

Another Great Video (BTW there is only one Lean To in the Allegany State Park, the rest are in the Allegany National Forest). The greatest part about the brookies is you always get to go see if they are around the next corner, in the next pool.

The adventure of the stream is definitely the funnest part of brook trout fishing!

Enjoyed the video. I’ve been to Allegheny state park many times. Lots of creeks to fish. Have you ever seen timber ratllesnakes or black rat snakes in the park?

I think I've seen rat snakes in the park before but not entirely sure because I saw so many of them at the places I lived/worked down south. Never seen a rattlesnake in the park or in NY yet.

I’m starting my friend off with the easy Rimrock Morrison trail just over the border in ANF. We’re going to the ADKS of course this summer. 3 days backpacking 3 days fishing the ausable and saranac. We’re doing 32 miles and 10 high peaks in 3 days. Good video man. I always love the camping videos for a change

Good luck with that. Those numbers are heavier than they look!

That sounds awesome man! Someday we'll have to do a backcountry camping trip.
