Now that we're all here together, I'll let you in on a tidbit. The group who performed the OP was interviewed and when asked what their inspiration for the song was, they stated that they are big fans of the manga. So much so that the opening lyrics of the song or more or less a direct quote from Ichikawa's manga confession. Long story short, you basically have been listening to Kyo's confession to Anna for the last three months and didn't know it...
Now you'll cry even more when you listen to the 2nd OP and the 2nd ED after learning the lyrics. The former was inspired by Ichikawa's confession, then the latter was Yamada's response. So yeah, The Dangers in My Heart is now officially one of the best romance anime of all time.
Man, HOW HAS THIS SEASON BEEN NOTHING BUT PEAK WITH EVERY EPISODE?! 😭😭😭 Forreal, these two are easily my favorite anime couple. 🥰🥰 A 10/10 pairing for a 10/10 season for a 10/10 series.
And here comes the last interesting fact of this BokuYaba season. In the manga the chapters 110-113 have the following tittles: 110: I want to tell her 111: My love for her 112: I want to respond 113: My love for him Kyo and Anna are the mcs but this is Kyo story so all the titles are from his perspective except 112 and 113, those are from Anna's perspective. The animation studio decided to put both confessions in the same episode and that's why they put the I to keep the tradition and then the WE in the tittle to represent botch perspectives. I like that even if you are an anime only if you put enough attention you can see that's not the end of the story. Kyo watching the ad about the cram school, an exam destroyed his world so he deserves revenge. Anna not knowing the result of her audition. No graduation ceremony, no this isn't the end yet but we will have to wait a couple years to see what's next. The good news are that the animation studio, the tv network, amazon and the mangaka know the product is famous in Japan and outside so the hope to see Anna and Kyo again in the future should never die.
I imagine Faroh in that heart rate machine and her heart almost stopping after watching this LOL THIS is how you write a romance. 10/10. These two are DEFINITELY one of the greatest couples in anime in the last decade.
The growth for these two, both as individuals and their relationship, is just the most sweet, wholesome, and realistic emotional ride. Now I need to treat my diabetes.
"I really am messed up in the head" That's a call back for the first EP. This last EP is just a full circle moment for all the story. If you pay enough attention to all the details, you will call back EVERYTHING. Is just beautiful. EDIT: also, ichikawa reaching the library, has the exact same pose as the first time they met! Just noticed that.
Throughout the various BokuYaba reactors, you definitely ranked near the top. In between the tears, you provide amazing, empathetic insight for both Kyo and Anna, which was impressive. Back in 2020 during quarantine i started getting really invested in anime, i got a lot of free time and i watched a ton of anime, my favorite genre was by far romance anime, back then, everything was so magic and i felt everything so deeply. At some point i lost that magical feeling of watching a romance anime, but this one just reminded and made me feel like i felt back then, im so glad i got to experience it again, going for my favorites for sure. Sry for any English mistakes, not my first language, and im not used to writing more than one line :P

Creo que realmente no habrá otro anime que me haga ver reacciones de personas a cada episodio, pero ver que gente de todos lados lloraba con cada pequeño detalle de cada episodio al igual que yo será algo que no creo se vuelva a repetir con alguna otra obra 🥰🥰
Un soneto esta compuesto de 14 versos, la historia de amor entre Ana y Kyo estuvo compuesta por 24 versos (cartas/episodios) empezó con muchos miedos, temores, falta de autoestima, nulo amor propio, dulces y golosinas para llenar los vacíos, libros freaks para ahuyentar a los demás, inseguridades, carencia afectiva, etc. Y poco a poco con mucha paciencia, comprensión, empatía, valor, coraje, determinación mutua les permitió a Ana y Kyo que se fueron conociendo, aceptando, tomando afecto, agarrándose cariño pero sobre todo siendo empáticos el uno con el otro y apoyándose en los momentos difíciles (que es lo que hace una pareja). Que difícil es expresar lo que sientes con todos esos traumas y situaciones dolorosas con las que uno crece (y los que tienen Anna y Kyo) pero ambos pasaron por eso proceso de crecer, madurar y evolucionar, pero no para convertirse en adultos, NOOO.. fue para conectar consigo mismos y aceptarse tal y como son, para entender que la vida es tan solo un instante y que esos pequeños momentos de felicidad le dan sentido, para que Ana entendiera que en realidad la audición, era lo mas importante de lo menos importante, y que simplemente aprender a hablar desde el corazon y juntar valor para decir lo que sientes a alguien que te gusta, es lo mas bonito y a la vez todo un desafío. Gracias Norio Sakurai tu soneto fue algo entrañable, porque no es la típica historia de amor (esto va mas allá del romcom) es el reencuentro contigo mismo, es saber que puedes ser y convertirte en alguien diferente sin tener que imitar a nadie. Esta historia seguro continuara..., Norio toma tu tiempo para seguir creando magia, que fácilmente puedes hacer un par de temporadas mas... legendarias y memorables. Gracias por este soneto de amor entrañable, que al final nos hace recordar que el "amor bonito" existe y nos vincula desde una manera muy especial con otros seres humanos, ese amor bonito es el que nos permite amar desde lo profundo del Ser, sin miedo a ser lastimados o heridos. Cómo da a entender Ana al final: somos seres humanos perfectamente imperfectos!. Y así está bien. Tomarse de la mano tiene mucho simbolismo. Tus sueños son los míos, y te apoyo en ellos, lo que es importante para tí lo es para mi. Y procuro tu bienestar. A penas me estaba recuperando del final de la hermosa Elfa Frieren y una semana después llega este cierre de temporada monumental. Aplausos de pie!. Gracias Japón (nadie como uds sabe desarrollar este medio de expresión de forma tan magistral). Pd. Es normal verse torpe al dar el primer beso. Claro que va a tener su episodio especial para ese memorable momento 💯❤️💋
Man this anime made me cry so much. I really really hope it never ends. It's basically my source of happiness and knowing that it just ended (or not) makes me feel empty inside for real. I hope season 3 comes out as soon as possible

not a season 3 for at least two years, the story adapted 113/141 manga chapters, but it was a nice experience, and yeah the manga author said that she doesn't have plans to finish the story yet
The manga should have enough chapters for a third season exactly a year from now and if the animation studio starts early we could see it in by next fall.
What did I do watching all the time not having subscribed yet. I loved this episode so much and rewatching it here... All this sobbing strengthened my experience and made me cry too. Even if I have no one to watch together with and talk about it, being able to watch this makes it feel like there is someone watching with me and appreciating it the same as I do. Me and my wife bump into this anime and oh my god! We felt that we jump back in time. We were high school sweethearts. I really saw myself in Kyotaro always alone and think that other people don't like me. Then here's where my wife come storming in. She was a bit famous at school because she's beautiful. Looking back at our old photos in highschool she's clearly Anna. It's like we watch our story unfold again in Anime. Who ever is the author of this masterpiece. At the beginning of the story, I had some strong feelings about Ichikawa's sluggishness to ask Yamada out to be frank i thought he was a coward, but after learning that he's only 14, and at that age, I doubt I would've had the courage to confess to my crushes either. I became more understanding. At the end of the season, I've come to understand the narrative's intent and the message it's trying to present. And because of this story/anime, I was compelled to hold a mirror to my own romantic experiences up to this point, and it literally moved me to tears. This anime helped me realize these facts about my personal life: 1.) I've never loved anyone the way Kyo loves Yamada 2.) No one has ever loved me the way Yamada loves Kyo 3.)The thought that I may never encounter this type of love in my lifetime deeply saddens me 4.) Lastly it made me realize how lonely I truly am Anyway, this has easily become my favorite rom-com anime series, 10/10. Big S/O to the Author Miss. Sakurai, she's such a genius for crafting this breathtaking story it is beautiful in every way. ❤🖤❤🔥

Our heart was in Danger for so long. We needed this episode. Now it's healed. I loved it how Faroh first didn't even realized Anna said " I love you " instead of " Like you" You were in so much shock 😊 Very wholesome series, I saw so many sad ending recently. I needed this to be good.
Fun Fact: The Bed scene in the manga was actually after kyos confession... (in the manga anna went with the train next day in the morning...) so when asked what type she likes she responds with: the type that confesses to her. also that souting out that she likes boys confessing 3:18 has also a different meaning then...

The first quarter of my 2024 became better because of Bokuyaba season 2. I looked forward to my Saturdays because of the episodes. After so many years watching anime, I've felt the post season sadness again, similar to how some feel after watching the ending of their favorite kdrama series. One thing I can say is that the anime definitely made the manga better with the art direction and slight changes in the script. I look forward to season 3 where the series will finally cover the dating arc.
For reference, in season 1 Ichikawa was 4' 11" and Yamada was 5' 7". Yamada is still the same height in season 2 (she grew by 0.1 cm) and Ichikawa is 5' 2" now, so he has actually grown

Que difícil es expresar lo que sientes con todos esos traumas y situaciones dolorosas con las que uno crece (y los que tienen Anna y Kyo) pero ambos pasaron por eso proceso de crecer, madurar y evolucionar, pero no para convertirse en adultos, NOOO.. fue para conectar consigo mismos y aceptarse tal y como son, para entender que la vida es tan solo un instante y que esos pequeños momentos de felicidad le dan sentido, para que Ana entendiera que en realidad la audición, era lo mas importante de lo menos importante, y que simplemente aprender a hablar desde el corazon y juntar valor para decir lo que sientes a alguien que te gusta, es lo mas bonito y a la vez todo un desafío. Gracias Norio Sakurai tu soneto fue algo entrañable, porque no es la típica historia de amor (esto va mas allá del romcom) es el reencuentro contigo mismo, es saber que puedes ser y convertirte en alguien diferente sin tener que imitar a nadie. Gracias por demostrarnos que recordar la adolescencia no tiene porque ser triste sino al contrario, es el camino directo a la juventud y vida adulta con todos sus clarooscuros. Gracias por tus personajes principales y secundarios hermosa e inteligentemente bien pensados y escritos, con sus emociones y sus defectos, pero sobre todo su inmensa humanidad. Gracias al estudio que animo la historia, tengo entendido que participaron mas de 200 personas para crear esta obra de arte; gracias a la vida que me permite como adulto apreciar esta maravilla y mi adolescencia como no se imaginan y todo lo que me hizo recordar y los momentos a los que me transporte, por medio de todos y cada uno de los 24 episodios llenos de amor y dulzura, tensión, drama, fanservice y demás. Me endulzaron mi corazon y llore como niño varias veces y sobre todo hoy... y me reconecte con mi Yo Niño y mi Yo adolescente. Esta historia seguro continuara..., Norio toma tu tiempo para seguir creando magia, que fácilmente puedes hacer un par de temporadas mas... legendarias y memorables. Gracias por este soneto de amor entrañable, que al final nos hace recordar que el "amor bonito" existe y nos vincula desde una manera muy especial con otros seres humanos, ese amor bonito es el que nos permite amar desde lo profundo del Ser, sin miedo a ser lastimados o heridos. Cómo da a entender Ana al final: somos seres humanos perfectamente imperfectos!. Y así está bien. Tomarse de la mano tiene mucho simbolismo. Tus sueños son los míos, y te apoyo en ellos, lo que es importante para tí lo es para mi. Y procuro tu bienestar. A penas me estaba recuperando del final de la hermosa Elfa Frieren y una semana después llega este cierre de temporada monumental. Aplausos de pie!. Gracias Japón (nadie como uds sabe desarrollar este medio de expresión de forma tan magistral).

Man this anime made me cry so much. I really really hope it never ends. It's basically my source of happiness and knowing that it just ended (or not) makes me feel empty inside for real. I hope season 3 comes out as soon as possible

not a season 3 for at least two years, the story adapted 113/141 manga chapters, but it was a nice experience, and yeah the manga author said that she doesn't have plans to finish the story yet

Me and my wife bump into this anime and oh my god! We felt that we jump back in time. We were high school sweethearts. I really saw myself in Kyotaro always alone and think that other people don't like me. Then here's where my wife come storming in. She was a bit famous at school because she's beautiful. Looking back at our old photos in highschool she's clearly Anna. It's like we watch our story unfold again in Anime. Who ever is the author of this masterpiece. At the beginning of the story, I had some strong feelings about Ichikawa's sluggishness to ask Yamada out to be frank i thought he was a coward, but after learning that he's only 14, and at that age, I doubt I would've had the courage to confess to my crushes either. I became more understanding. At the end of the season, I've come to understand the narrative's intent and the message it's trying to present. And because of this story/anime, I was compelled to hold a mirror to my own romantic experiences up to this point, and it literally moved me to tears. This anime helped me realize these facts about my personal life:
1.) I've never loved anyone the way Kyo loves Yamada
2.) No one has ever loved me the way Yamada loves Kyo
3.)The thought that I may never encounter this type of love in my lifetime deeply saddens me
4.) Lastly it made me realize how lonely I truly am
Anyway, this has easily become my favorite rom-com anime series, 10/10. Big S/O to the Author Miss. Sakurai, she's such a genius for crafting this breathtaking story it is beautiful in every way. ❤🖤❤🔥

Greatest Romance Anime of all time
The first quarter of my 2024 became better because of Bokuyaba season 2. I looked forward to my Saturdays because of the episodes. After so many years watching anime, I've felt the post season sadness again, similar to how some feel after watching the ending of their favorite kdrama series. One thing I can say is that the anime definitely made the manga better with the art direction and slight changes in the script. I look forward to season 3 where the series will finally cover the dating arc.

For reference, in season 1 Ichikawa was 4' 11" and Yamada was 5' 7". Yamada is still the same height in season 2 (she grew by 0.1 cm) and Ichikawa is 5' 2" now, so he has actually grown
the scene Kyotaro opens the door of the library room is exactly the same as season1 ep1, and Yamada had made a homophone joke in their first chat
