Me either I really love to see other not upgrade these rc so quick as I feel it’s capability are good stock just using and esc they removed from there felony or infraction and buy some tires you can hit that 100 mph speed easy as I showed from day one running it 👍👍
That was a couple great runs,only changes I made was the esc, when I get to 75 mph, tires are starting to balloon badly, think I’m gonna go 17 mil grps, great videos I get so much knowledge from them , thanks, and keep on bashing 😮
Hey dude hope your good I'm not sure if your aware but the tie rods are adjustable on the vendetta take 1 side out and twist to adjust your alignment and if you put 5mm of fuel tube inside the front shocks it creates a perfect rake just thought I'd share with you as I've just done them keep up the amazing content

Congrats on two successful speed runs. 114mph for a near stock RC is mint. Hopefully tomorrow there will be less traffic and you can concentrate on the run and bag that 120mph. Ever thought of sending up a quad and have your daughter monitor the run from above, might help keep better tabs on the Vendetta.
That second pass it went past like a bullet, I'm guessing 110mph! You might want to try some SMC lipos, their pricey but I've had good luck with a pair of 4s in my x maxx . Nice speed runs.💯
Have you ever tried GRP's? Their new Super soft tires at Amain gave me a few MPH over Hoons. Awesome video.. Sucks about the traffic. The main issue at my spot is old ladies walking their dogs. Luckily no "Karens" as of yet. Wonder how fast that green limitless is. Again awesome content Earl.
I thought a bunch of my 6s packs had issues but the issue was with the balance plug. Took them apart, cleaned them with contact cleaner and stuck them on my spektrum charger vs on my protek charger and they all balance perfect now.
There any drag strips or race tracks around where you are just a idea could make for a good place to try without the traffic. Kewl video really amazing how fast that car can go

Hey Earl. I talked to you before in another comment section about my Vendetta. I haven’t upgraded my Esc or motor YET. I did a bunch of alloy upgrades, control arms, shocks, tierods, motor mount/gear housing. Axles etc. then I just threw in a 44T spur w/slipper elim. With the 26t pinion. Running 3s I hit mid 80. I haven’t got a good clean run yet from it and I may just put all the composite parts back until I get more comfortable with it. Now I’m debating. 130amp esc Spektrum firma w/1900KV motor combo? Or should I go with the 150amp with 2050kv. All I want to do is speedruns. I don’t bash or do jumps or go off road. I’m confused as F😂
I never had any luck with the power hobby batteries. I will be honest I use Traxxas batteries now and I have never had a problem with them at all and I have a bunch and with the 25c to 50c burst packs work just as good as anything to me. I guess if they mess up Traxxas will replace it sometimes or give you half off. If that’s true then it’s not to bad.
If you force the cell that low to fill up it could be unstable and catch fire when I see the charger struggle to fill a cell I stop charging and check cell after it runs if the cell fall way off from all the other cells I discard the battery pack
Impressive speed for stock set up and Plastic gears !! 💪 Hopefully you can get to 120mph. 🤟 HRB lipos are a pleasant surprise. CNHL is very popular on speed runs (no personal experience). I stay away from PowerHobby and SMC… overrated for all that money.

I see to stage the car, run it and get it back you are doing 2800ft. Do you need more road for Limitless ? I tried a new road yesterday and I have about 2500ft to play with if there is no traffic. So upto 5000ft to stage it and bring it back.

Hate when one cell decides to start dumping on you, I normally try calling the company I purchased it from and if that fails me I take the bad cell out and resolder into smaller packs but it's sketchy as hell and I wouldn't recommend it! But I'm a cheap ass and like to get the full use of every cell lol I use a traxxas dual charger and it kind of sucks when it comes to settings and being able to see the mah it put in after it's done changing and I always end up under charging a bit at the end.
Hopefully someday you will be able to hit full trigger. If your running 114mph on 3/4 trigger I can see an easy 150-160 when you finally pull full trigger.

My buddy had 4!! that puffed really bad that he had gotten for his boat (M41) and had to be destroyed. I only have one of the only two Powerhobby packs i will ever buy left. Definitely wouldnt be too concerned about a .03 voltage difference.
Getting somewhere with the vendetta. Nice and straight and in control! If you could only get a handle on traffic 😩 Have you tried to cycle the unbalanced lipos? First charge try at 1 amp. All cells should balance perfect to 4.20. After that charge 1 amp less the the lipos mAh. 5200mAh charge at 4.2 amps. The one cell at 4.17 is just sleepy from sitting so long.
Yes after the run yesterday with that cell at 3.99 and all others at 4.08 I did a battery reconditioning drained it’s fully and recharged for today’s run cell only got to 4.18 and all others went to 4.20 but it’s not dropping as fast
@@earlmoorhead5555 I've noticed the less you use these lipos they tend to not get to full charge. And never leave charged over night. The longer you leave a lipo fully charged the quicker the cells break down. Or is it bad from the factory🤷♂️ Definitely try and use that lipo more.
@@earlmoorhead5555 ok bad cell. That sucks. And no visible damage. I've had a 4s and a 2s go bad. 4s was my fault. Left charged for 2 weeks. I try to avoid anything over 3s lipos just because of this. Only buy 2s and 3s.

I scanned the area I found a couple spots but I’m not sure if Google maps is updated or not it looks like a construction zone that has a really long straightaway but it’s not 4 lanes wide. I hate power hobby. They are ok when running just singles. But I’ve had three sets now one was 2 3s The other two were two sets of fours to run 8s. I only have one good set of 4S left now same thing happened to me. And these batteries aren’t cheap

The holes in the top fender was used in the Dodge Daytona’s gave the air trapped in the fender someplace to go helping making the car faster

IIRC you have to disable AVC and then you can use the dial for steering rate

Soft packs with them all my hard packs failed quickly with lectron pro as the get loose inside the hard case and get damaged on crashes 👍👍

I ran a 6s esc and the 3s motor I stopped running at 114mph when I crashed do to tire set up I need to do the 17 mm wheel conversion to go faster
