I’ve had one for a couple of years and I love it. Very warm, dry & comfortable. Very easy to set up and take down. Goes inside my Everest with the back set down. Great quality. 👍👍

thats just a little tent, imo swags should be able to store the bedding and mattress inside, quick set up without having to drag everythin through the dirt and into it
MadMatt 4WD nah as they are too long (2m+), going the RV1 (1.6m) for the ability to just throw in the back of the 4wd as I don’t like roof racks. Have rooftop setup on trailer with foxwing for longer trips.
Hi mad Matt made of mine showed me some pictures he got bowled a couple of days ago up near Hamilton in the bush and he did a big no no he put a strap on his table and luckily nothing happened because I hang winching it but I let you know that was a bit stupid safety all away is the best way to go and not a bad swag mate I have to agree don’t have to upgrade the mattress us young blokes need a grampa nap when we get a bit tired stay safe on the tracks 👍🇦🇺
Really like the design but I don't like the idea of a dusty, dirty swag onto the mattress, using the ground sheet does help along, sometimes doesn't stop enough. Nice video!
Great review Matt. I’ve been looking for a new swag to use with the Jimny for my own fledgling channel haha. Looks like it might be right on the money.
The condensation in this swag is horrendous they don't breath no matter how many vents you open, I do not recommend for cold weather overlanding where you're packing up each morning and setting up every afternoon unless you like sleeping in moist damp mould inviting environments. The other issue if you go for the self inflating mattress you have to roll that up separately which negates the fast set up of this swag. A more traditional dome type swag with breathable canvas, mattress and bedding all rolled into one is a far better option IMHO you'll still get condensation but far less and it will start to dry as soon as the morning rays hit the outside of the canvas but with the rs-1 you be wiping down the inside with tea towels every morning.
Doing an honest reveiw and you haven't even spent a night in it! Also if you want to do any airflow adjustments you have to get out of bed and go outside. Sounds like a pain!!

@@MadMatt4WD for example if you were using it you would be able to tell us how good or how much pain it is to pitch it or pack it up when you have to do it every day, once for the show you will never know. You could find out how the swag/mini tent behaves in cold, wet, hot weather. Just be creative, I'm sure you can do it.

I like the high vis orange on the bag and guy lines. Makes it harder for it to disappear into the background, get lost, and left behind.

I can't see the point of this over a tent. The point of a swag is to be able to roll your bedding into it.
Just get an RV1 tent!!

LOL they don't sell young arses. :) I set my swag up on a stretcher now days. That works well.
I need to be able to stand up ...i have a few back issues ,i cant say anything bad at all about the 30 tent... they are great.
