Hi mate. Can you show a couple of times heading out the bar and thoughts on things to watch for? i have a similiar boat to yours not had the confidence to head out . I know the boat could handle it, certainly been in awful conditions on the lake. probably just the new unknown thats held me back. Cheers.
Loved the video, thanks for sharing your tips! I'm new to the area and pretty new to fishing, so this is great learning for me! I've only launched at Blacksmiths once before, will definitely try to head out to the islands where you were next time and give trolling a go.
G'Day champion, great session there mate and a ripper video you put up, plenty of action great info and good to see you throw in a little land based fishing to mix it up Must be due for a session with you mate being the New Year Keep it up luke, catch up soon.
Nice video mate. I often troll divers off that same spot and clean up on Bonnies. I rarely use them as bait, though, but love to eat them. Will try them as bait for flatties now though.
Good stuff mate, those spinners go alright, 5 for $25 posted is a bargain, the hooks hold up good too. I learnt a bit from you cheers for that, I came to Swansea last year with a mate, we fished for kings hard at the bridge for 3 days and we finally figured them out in the last session of the trip, stoked to get one each for a feed.
Another great video mate. What reels and sizes are you using? They seem to handle most of the fish you throw at them with ease? What braid and leader do you run also?
Thankyou, One was a 4000 shimano twin power 20lb braid 20lb trace with a abu garcia veritas 6-10lb 7ft rod, other was stradic 3000 15lb braid 20lb trace veritas rod
A little tip for you man - I switch out all my trebles to single jigging hooks or small saltwater fly hooks - I never have the problem of getting myself hooked up on trebles... Also a heap easier to unhook if the bite is hot...
@@thesupajake1341 - generally I will use a 1/0 - 2/0 on a 30gm.. Hooks I use are BKK LONE DIABLO 8091 or if I cannot get them I will use GAMAKATSU BIG GAME SL12S
The bonnies are actually really good to eat if bled and gutted straught away. Need to be crumbed or coated in flour shallow fried very hot and very quickly. If you overcook its dry and horrible like chicken breast but if cooked just through or even medium rare theyre delicious.
You must piss off the people who spend big bucks on a boat and gear when you turn up at the ramp with an old little boat .bloody gold mate 👌
No big budget films here 😂🤣. It's the common man fishing we all love to do. Thankyou see you on the next one mate 👍
@@huntersfishingadventures5324 hahaha common man would keep most of what you throw back.

You must have slept well after rolling around out the front there chasing those bonnies! Good effort and tips mate.
Sore arms is a great problem to have thankyou mate 👍
Awesome video! Keen to get out and give trolling lures a go
Thankyou mate, they thick at moment any headland enjoy 🎣🤙
Rapala xrap in pilchard is great for bonnies and no snags.
When you said speed...was it 8kms or 8knots ?
6-8knots 10-14kmhr 👍
Finally some kings round moon. Good 2 see will have 2 get out
They pretty thick to mate, had 15 chasing my spinner right to the boat.
Hmmm I can't do 8 knots in my kayak for long without a Tiger shark on my tail.
😂🤣 good workout 💪
