I had that exact bike purchased new in 1973. My buddy bought the green model. Together we painted my Grandmothers house and used the earnings to buy them. I’m pretty sure they were somewhere around $700 each. What a blast that bike was. Had to let it go when I got married a few years later. Still in my dreams occasionally.
I had it's twin! I put Acront Aluminum Racing wheels. 21" on front and 18" on rear. Took off the stock fenders and put on orange Preston Petty's and smaller rear tail light. Thought I was "Evil Knevil" Ha Ha! It did jump well!
I had my '71 TS 250 for 50 years (bought it in '72). Just sold it to a friend about a year ago. It always got me home, whether on roads, a day's trail riding or an enduro. I might break down, but the bike was always willing to continue.
Nice vintage 2 stroke Suzuki that as you mentioned with some work and parts it should become almost at 90 percent good, you have great looks to where you would do great as a model for G Q magazine with modeling sharp cool presentations over in Milan Italy perhaps getting to Paris France. ❤

Awesome story! Old Japanese bikes are some of the best!
I love that year and model also. However, I prefer it in green.
Fair! I’m a big fan of orange so I’m happy and kinda get the best of both worlds with the green stripe. It’s not neon green tho.
The colour is great!
Thanks!
Enjoy the new bike.

Every Garage need to have a vintage bike!
I can agree with that!
bike looks like a beast. love it. i'm looking for a good early eighties suzuki or the air cooled first year swing arm yammy.
Right on!
Very cool bike, please share your work on it, if you find the time :) Best regards, Peter
Will do!
Where do you get all your parts from? My girlfriend’s dad just gave me 2 of these and they’ve been sitting in the barn for 20 years.
Let’s get more coverage of the TS250, a sweet rippa
Absolutely
Nice Bike..😀
Thanks!

Curious how much you paid looking at one for myself atm.
