I inadvertently added 3 bottles of Liqui Moly DI cleaner in my Porsche Panerma 4s over the course of 2k miles. Check engine light code for O2 sensor. Light reset on its own after about 50 miles and some fresh gas. Di Jectron Bottle says add at every 2400 miles, more than enough. Great product!

Here in Germany (where Liqui Moly comes from) at gas stations we can fill up our tanks with 102 octane gasoline including engine system cleaner additives. The worst gasoline for us is 95 octane still incuding cleaning additves. ...and we have no speed limit on highways :)

This is just anecdotal, though I have used these products: The Pro-Line is a pretty strong cleaner, so I'd wait a longer time before using other cleaning-type additives. I waited about 2 months or about 5-6 tanks of gas before adding anything else. I now follow the 2,400-mile recommended interval between using the DI Jectron. I've heard it's not good to throw too many extreme cleaners at your car within a short time -- it could wear out seals and gaskets, etc.

You can use both my advice is add the pro line with the DI jet when your gas light is on add high quality and high octane fuel and then make sure you drive highway and once a week drive hard with your ac off this way your Ac compressor will not be subjected to high pressure and if you do drive a 4 cylinder turning your AC off gives you more power

I checked the spark plug and I looked down the cylinders and noticed the top looked very glossy and polished, with small bits of carbon. But with a layer of sheen. Previously even when I first had my engine rebuilt. I noticed the top had a thin coat of dry carbon. So I dunno if it’s the product had actually done this.. I do recall of additives to try clean top of cylinders but DiJectron doesn’t advertise it as a function/ability.. hmm

LM is going to have a completely different additive package compared to M1. I believe the base stock is going to be different as well along with a much higher HTHS specification and solid NOAK rating. A lot of the API SP GF-6A rated 5w30/5w40 oils are not very good and are at the low end of the spectrum for film strength and high temperature shear.

Just to be clear there's nothing wrong with running Mobile1 or any other brand of oil as long as it meets the engine specifications. The difference between say Amsoil, LM, or even Red Line is in the base stock and additive package. How have the vehicles been running on the LM 5w 40?
liqui moly is great but the vendors in LA are is charging $11/liter which is not competitively priced with other high quality synthetic oils like EURO LUB AND Mobil 1.

The valve carbon cleaner does not work on direct combustion engines. The injectors are placed inside the combustion chamber and not before the valves, so the product does not pass through the valves.
I think this question bothers everybody, so please upvote. Should you use all your half-tank fuel or simply drive 30 mins and let it sit in the system over the night and continue driving on the next day?

I use jectron and valve clean every 6 weeks….workin like a charm in my 2011 Audi A5
Every 6 weeks is overkill, but it doesn't harm either.
Does it matter how many miles a day you put? I daily about 70 miles a day

You should be fine with that, if the tank is not full you could top it off, and if it is full you should be ok.

I use liqui moly 1800 in my auto transmission mk7 golf 09g trans. Can i add any kind of anti slip additive for that trans? So far so good... but i use liqui moly mos2 oil treatment, is there any comparable additives for transmissions
Я из России,У меня vw polo sedan, мотор цфна 1.6 L 105 лошадей, есть перекладка поршней стук,заливаю ликви молли молиген 5w40, допуск 502,но стук в мороз всеравно есть,какое масло посоветуете лучшее из Ликви молли,и присадки.
