I watched the documentary and this clip. I feel this deeply in my heart, I am crying, the emotions are all encompassing. Teddy Pendergrass has touched my heart in a special way. He was the most gorgeus snd secy man I have ever seen. His singing was like magic, he wss the black Elvis. When he got older, a very deep and soulful personality came to surface. He was blessed, he was a blessed human being.

Teddy Pendergrass had one in a million voice.. He radiated something special, even before an after his accident.. I have utmost respect for some one who can maneuver through life after such an incident. I have a friend who has died, been in a coma, paralyzed, and fought his way back. He is physically much less than before.. But what he gained in spirituality, emotion, and joy in life. inspires me. Teddy Pendergrass is a example of that.

I heard somewhere that Ida was not allowed to attend her sons funeral. I so hope that was not true. I know Joan put Ida out.
