🎶here below you can find the lyrics:
    .
    .
    .
    Nessun dorma! Nessun dorma!
    Tu pure, oh Principessa
    Nella tua fredda stanza
Guardi le stelle che tremano d'amore
    E di speranza
Ma il mio mistero è chiuso in me
    Il nome mio nessun saprà
No, no, sulla tua bocca lo dirò
    Quando la luce splenderà
Ed il mio bacio scioglierà il silenzio
    Che ti fa mia
    Dilegua, oh notte
    Tramontate, stelle
    Tramontate, stelle
    All'alba vincerò
    Vincerò
    Vincerò

@@Tritonprince Easily speaking I call Aria also vocal music that is not an Aria in its traditional form (for example Scarlatti's Aria with the Da Capo). You don't dare to consider Opera as part of the classical music? I'm very curious about your opinion. The format of this video is called Study your favorite Italian Aria... "nessun dorma" has nothing to do with a traditional Aria and this is very clear to us all but I dare to say that is an Aria just to simplify the content. That's it.

Well done and very helpful, however having the English Translation for each line to the right would help students understand what they are singing to allow them to emphasize words or phrases to portray the character Prince Calaf.

I thought to this problem but at the end I decided to do not add any translation of the lyrics for two reasons: 1. you can find the translation on the web 2. if I have to translate it by myself into several languages (video subtitles are in 8 different languages) would be grammatically wrong. That’s the reason why I’ve chosen to do not provide any lyrics translation. Thank you for leaving your comment my Lady.

Thank you! Here, I was able to learn about the "e" like in stelle. It sounds very brittle. Maybe it's some idiosyncrasies to put the e to the a, not the ee (ee like in mio). Or, it's a typical German accent, as the Germans have the "ä", which is circumscribed as ae, which shows that the "e" (as in "ehem") has got two options open: to e (English pronuciation) or e (English pronunciation). I am eager to learn more about the Italian E (as it occurs, all notes have "vocals" as their names which shows how important a job you do - so well, again, thank you).

    • @ITALIANPRONUNCIATIONforsingers
      @ITALIANPRONUNCIATIONforsingers  ปีที่แล้ว

Dear Peter, thank you for your comment. You are very into the problem of pronunciation and it makes me happy to know that you have the ability to perceive differences in pronunciation. Regarding the E, in Italian we have two ways of pronouncing it: open or closed. The problem is that you have to look at which consonant it is preceded or succeeded by. New videos are going to be prepared, I hope you will enjoy this channel again. Stay tuned.

Feel free to scrutinize (scrutinare? We are all Romans...).
Thank you for your advice on the diploidity of e. So, in "vincero" I still opt for the open e, maybe it's my regional accent in German, as I mentioned before. Sulla mia boccha lo dirai equals: no need to reply, I'd be honoured though? Thank you!

You’re completely right Sir. What I’ve said is not so polite. But, Please consider the fact that if you don’t have the classical singing technique how can you sing such a difficult Aria? Maybe you can interpret it, you can play it in a jazzy mood but the aim of the channel is to help classical singer and not to make propaganda of famous Arias. I put limits by myself, I apologize if you think this is not polite from me. I sincerely apologize with you.
