Thanks so much! I was so curious to see what would happen. That paper lends itself to the varying “background”. Your creativity with these papers is INCREDIBLE!!! 🥰
Love all your projects, anything with scrap wood are my favourites I also love your book project. The transfer that you put on the front of the book looks lovely but you didn’t throw the piece away that you pulled off did you? You can use that by adhering it to another project and what you have behind it comes through the empty parts of the transfer. Just thought I’d mention that in case you didn’t know. You get extra for what you’ve paid for them cos they are so expensive.
I'm curious: why do you spray your decoupage paper with water before you adhere it? I've never done that before. I was wondering if you had a particular reason I could learn from. Thanks!!
Hi! Thank you so much for the question. Spray the paper before applying is a technique I have seen other crafters use. Royce is the one who mentions the technique. I also have played around with spraying the bottom (that part that adheres to the project) and the top. I find that I have less chance of ripped when I spray the bottom. I will say to be mindful with the quantity of spray. It’s a very light mist just to dampen the piece which helps with position and reduces wrinkles considerably 🤗
Very nice..
Thank you!
Those wood scraps look amazing ❤. I love the farm fresh with that inlay❤❤❤
Me too! Thank you!!! ☺️
LOVE these projects. Lovin how the stripes showed through the paper on your riser. 🥰🤗

That is a 2 by 6
The first project with the riser was 2x8. The second was 2x6. Which one were you referring to?
