I don’t think I had any coasters for this video. If you are looking for specific settings for a laser cutter, I would suggest @wilmerwoodworks. He has excellent tutorials!

Sorry. Your round ornaments you engraved. I am using those as coasters and new to the business. Wanted to see what settings you used in your Falcon 2pro. I have the 40W version. Thank you so much

@@shaunhardine8206 my reply didn't save... engraving I use is 10000-12000 speed at 30-40% power. In this video, I think I was using 60% and it was way too much. I also didn't set the height of the laser correctly.

Agreed! I did my living room built-in cabinets with that paint… but I didn’t seal 😩 so I have to redo. Lesson learned for me! But the paint is very versatile and budget friendly!

Thanks for sharing your experience with those brands! DIY paint is like an artist paint 🎨…it allows you to try so many techniques. I have definitely “over tried” with colors and techniques on projects! 🤪 But that’s the fun sometimes,right …. Seeing what looks good versus what is just a bit too much!

Thank you! I didn’t include the cottage colors in this video but I do have some of the colors. I love the finish … so durable! Just takes quite a few coats for me. Any tips or tricks you would suggest?

Thank you!! Yes! I was surprised to find that out when I started…everyone was using waverly and I couldn’t find it…then I got folk art and later realized they are the same. Apple barrel isn’t as high quality as the other ones but overall the plaid products are impressive for the price!

Hey Sharon! Thank you so much for your feedback. Yes! I typically use a permanent glue … what I had happen with some of my things is chipped paint or scratches. This year was better (I’m sure I was way more cautious about it too). Only had 3 casualties from my ornaments 🤣
