Thanks Louise! I’ve learnt so much from this video. Never would have thought of using the pigment as a paint for oops & never heard of expanding paint. Everything turned out so lovely.
These are so adorable! I absolutely love them. Louise, you have done an an excellent job making these. You answered a question I've had about eco resin. I've been wondering if you could dust a mold and if it would pick up the color. And like magic you you knew I needed that answered and did that in this video. So thank you. 💗
Super cute! 💜 I agree that learning from other's misstakes are great. Or as I like to say: no one lives long enough to make all the misstakes themselves!
WOW! Louise absolutely stunningly gorgeous results. What a gorgeous mold. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all. Take great care and keep creating and smiling xoxo ❤
Gonks distinctively have long beards and hats covering their eyes, whereas what we'd call gnomes, have eyes and faces you can see! 😄 They're a kind of ZZ-Top of the gnome world! 😂
Absolutely love these! We call them honks in south (I think) but I also find it a weird term haha. I prefer gnome. I adore these molds. You have some a phenomenal job and taught me a lot. Amazing as always xxx
They are adorable!❤❤❤❤. Funny you show these molds today. I got cookie cutters with pretty much the same designs. I made them with white polymer Clay and got puffy paints to decorate 🤣
Call me 'dense' but I still don't understand why the colors bled if they were cured before each successive layer? Like the red and white of Santa's Hat? Especially the aqua cast background? Because the tapping? Maybe because the first layers weren't thick enough? I guess I need more coffee😅😮😊😊... In any case, I ❤ your finished works Louise. I do have the same patience as you, the minutious work is a sort of relaxing activity!
I think it's because the dry Aquacast is really porous and pouring the wet on top made it soak through. But if you seal it first it's likely the second layer would stick.
Thank you so much for your tips as these are incredibly adorable
The Expanding Paint creates little curly beards, so cute! After just the first coat, it looked like a Coral Reef.. hmmmm..
Viewing from the caribbean your cookie style moulds came out adorable ☃️⛄🍪🍭

They are just adorable Lou I love the gnome with the tie dye hat ❤

Guess I'm dense, too, then! I can't figure it out, either!
