I like Druddigon actually. I remember catching one in Alpha Sapphire, and I loved using it in battle. I transfered it to Pokemon Sun, and I'm trying to get another one in Alpha Sapphire.
While I don't think I ever really disliked Druddigon, I used to have beef with its Shiny because green But I've actually lightened up on it once I realized that its Shiny colors are the compliments of its main colors [green and orange to red and blue, respectively] Just a pity that's sheer coincidence because it wasn't until Gen6 that they actually manually picked out Shiny colors [can't remember the specifics on how it worked with 2-5, something about taking a 'mon's color palette and moving its value over or something? But it's basically why so many blue Pokemon have pink Shinies]
Same as either gen 3 and FireRed were one of my first games that I've played tho not on an actual gameboy. So I just downloaded one of those gba rom online But in Pokemon Sapphire im pretty sure I caught a Phanpy and Evolved one into Donphan and I thought they were pretty cool

I also very much love castform! As for why it didn't get a sand form, I think it has to do with the physical-special split. Fire, Ice, and water are all special types, but rock and ground are physical, so perhaps they thought it's be better to leave it as a special attacker?
@@anilmehta4714 I would say that kinda makes sense, but the whole niche of Castform on it's release was the fact it had different forms depending on the weather and had the move Weather Ball. They could have easily given it a sand form, which would have simply made Weather Ball a ground type move. It would have just been a special attack ground move. Very easy.

So having a special type ground move wasn't out of the ordinary. One already existed. So it would have fit with a ground special move. But that's just my opinion. To each his own. I think it prob just had to do with the fact that Castform was already intended on being one of the throw-away no evolution Pokemon that exist so frequently in the game.
I always thought Avalugg was a pretty cool ice type, and I thought it would be funny if two bergmite on an Avalugg’s back were fighting, and one of them evolved.
I actually LOVE the Regi trio. Regice used to be one of my favorite Legendaries, and Regirock was one of my favorite rock types. I never loved Registeel as much as the other two, but i don't hate it.
I beg to differ. Kecleon is better. Takes forever to recruit. When the originals came out, there was a rumor at school that you could get kecleon. I tried for months, never could. Years later I saw on the internet that you could, and for like 2 weeks, I tried and I eventually did. Worth it
I'm so happy to see these guys get some love! There's a running gag in my friend group where every Pokémon is "one of my very favorite Pokémon" because I just like most Pokémon. I can only think of three that I hate (none are on this list!) and at worst it's usually just me being like, "I've never used this one so I don't have strong feelings about it." Also poor Castform, he's a little molecule cloud friend! I had one in my first playthrough of Ruby, even though he was kind of just a team mascot. I miss him ;A;
I started to like Druddigon when Clair got a shiny. The first anime I watched fully was Unova and I didn’t know Clair, but I saw catch a shiny and I thought it was so cool
I used Castform in a Ruby playthrough and I loved it, and to my surprise, it kicked butt. I prioritized rain, gave it Thunder as a TM, and it tore through half of Steven's team. I might just have to jump back into ORAS and add on Hurricane too.
One reason why I enjoy videos like this: it makes me think about legitimately testing Pokémon I usually don’t use. And when I see Pokémon I often *do* use (e.g Krookodile), I think it’s extra awesome to have my opinion validated.
i literally was so indifferent to castform until i discovered this channel, now i find it so adorable and wish i could wrap my mind around actually using it effectively. i would always box it immediately after receiving it not because i disliked it but because i always had a full team by then and hadn't ever planned for it (and im far more of a straight-offense battler than a strategic one anyway, which isn't the best but i am not a patient man, nor am i a smart man, nor am i a man)
I always loved Castform And i find the Regitrio mysterious and interesting, their simple and strange design are dope and i love their sounds (both anime and in game) (Their theme are also very good )
I dont know if Mikey is aware of this nowadays, but the reason that Castform looks like that is because its based on a water molecule, the head represents a Hidrogen atom, and the bulbs underneath it are Oxigen atoms, this is also why it doesnt have a Sandstorm form, because Forecast is supossed to represent either the 3 States of Matter or the Cicle of Water, the Sun form is Gasseous matter/Evaporarion, the Rain form is Liquid matter/Precipitation and the Hail form is Solid matter/Condensation

The regi trio will always be the best legendary trio to me cause of the sounds they make. They are basic but thats the point and I love those weird sounds they make
I've always liked Magmortar. The thing has cannons for arms. The whole weird face thing doesnt fly cause magmar looks like its blowing kisses at people and they dont have a problem with that. I've always liked electivire too but I've heard people make fun of it a lot. Also I get the criticism for regirock and regice but registeel looks cool to me so I like it
I actually never heard anything but positives about Krookodile. Its definitly one of my favorite ground type pokemon and its snout looks like how an actual crocodile's snout would look
When I was a kid I really liked Donphan I thought it was so badass, I don't like it as much anymore but I still like it. I also love Krookildile, Avalugg, Magmortar and I like druddigon
here are some of my opinions on some of these pokemon. castform is the first card i got and i love it I got Druddigon on my team in pokemon sword and boy it looks cool when i take it for a walk on the isle of armor Donphan looks like an awesome cross between an armadillo and elephant Whismur is one of my absolute favorites. He is too cute. Bottom text. Magmorter is strong. Huntale looks like a dragonfish. thats why i like it. i have all the regies and they look cute.

I really enjoyed hunting for the Regis. Hoenn has a special place in my heart as well, and I too only had a guide book to work with to find them. The only frustrating part about the Regis for me, was catching the damn things XD
I think that Dustox is one of the best poison tipes because i love its eyes and wings. The unique reasons for the fandom to hate it are its stats and the fact that the rest of the line are ogly

Omg thanks for mentioning Seismetoad 😭😭. I started playing Pokemon white last month and at first I was like "eh.. I just need a surf pokemon... It'll go in the PC after... " but then after I used it in battle I became attached to it and I love it. I love my Aoi😭😭 Same with Stoutland, I didn't like it that much because I thought he always had a grumpy look on its face. But I learned to love him in battle, I love my Alpha 😭😭. Not to mention my Simisear Akai, I thought he looked stupid but he turned into a lovable Pokemon since he was the third asset to my team 😭😭.
For god status, Regigiggas. Send out, a few minutes later it's at full power, and all my servents shall bow down or they get an earthquake to the face. For fun, dratini, or bubasaur, just to annoy the squirtle and charmander fans. For finances, eevee, as it would be absolutely adorable, cat and dog people would buy it from me. Or ditto, sell to scientists for genetic research, or rich old perverts.
Abilty Forecast should be revamped a lot. For example as it is a 'weather prediction', it should give all weather-changing moves used by Castform a +7 priority, so it changes form 'earlier' as it predicts weather.
I also like donphan. It's got a creative design, good abilities and good typing. If I were to make a regional variant of it, I would make it a steel ground type pokemon. Its pre evolution phampy is freaking adorable
It just goes to show how much of a difference a couple of years can make for a Pokemon in Pokemon Go's PvP scene. Registeel is one of the top contenders in the Great League right now. The others are hit or miss, but I've heard some people do like Regirock for Master League.

also, krookadile has a soft spot in my heart due to the fact that is was my first ever shiny in any of the Pokemon games i played, when i found it in the desert leading up to the ruins where tapu bulu was located in Pokemon moon
My first shiny was a ponyta in pokemon quest. (I didn’t even know shinys existed at the time so I didn’t react that insanely but my file got reset and now that I know shinys exist I want to kill myself)

I've always liked Magmortar. The thing has cannons for arms. The whole weird face thing doesnt fly cause magmar looks like its blowing kisses at people and they dont have a problem with that. I've always liked electivire too but I've heard people make fun of it a lot. Also I get the criticism for regirock and regice but registeel looks cool to me so I like it

I really enjoyed hunting for the Regis. Hoenn has a special place in my heart as well, and I too only had a guide book to work with to find them. The only frustrating part about the Regis for me, was catching the damn things XD

Omg thanks for mentioning Seismetoad 😭😭. I started playing Pokemon white last month and at first I was like "eh.. I just need a surf pokemon... It'll go in the PC after... " but then after I used it in battle I became attached to it and I love it. I love my Aoi😭😭 Same with Stoutland, I didn't like it that much because I thought he always had a grumpy look on its face. But I learned to love him in battle, I love my Alpha 😭😭. Not to mention my Simisear Akai, I thought he looked stupid but he turned into a lovable Pokemon since he was the third asset to my team 😭😭.

Abilty Forecast should be revamped a lot. For example as it is a 'weather prediction', it should give all weather-changing moves used by Castform a +7 priority, so it changes form 'earlier' as it predicts weather.

I also like donphan. It's got a creative design, good abilities and good typing. If I were to make a regional variant of it, I would make it a steel ground type pokemon. Its pre evolution phampy is freaking adorable

It just goes to show how much of a difference a couple of years can make for a Pokemon in Pokemon Go's PvP scene. Registeel is one of the top contenders in the Great League right now. The others are hit or miss, but I've heard some people do like Regirock for Master League.

also, krookadile has a soft spot in my heart due to the fact that is was my first ever shiny in any of the Pokemon games i played, when i found it in the desert leading up to the ruins where tapu bulu was located in Pokemon moon
