Hi, Turok. Nice video of the break in. I'm so excited to get mine fired up. I noticed a small mark on the flywheel that indicates piston is at BDC when the mark is facing up.
Glad you liked it, it's a great truck! I haven't noticed any official marks but I did mark BDC with a permanent marker on the flywheel so I know where it is
Great videos very cool. Did you finalize the grub screw out turns for the 2nd and 3rd gear cams? In a previous video you did 2.5 and 3. Your's was shifting so smooth and even. Thanks.
It's right about the same at 2.5-3 turns out. I loosened up my 3rd one a quarter turn to make it shift sooner - working great now! Will post a video of some full throttle runs
@@philipsalamone8541 from being bottomed out completely. Ie tighten until it starts to get finger tight, but do not tighten it further. Then back it out 2.5-3 turns
Hi mate. New sub from Australia. Love you work on this truck. Man, I pulled the starter cord off trying to start this truck. Any easy fix? Such and idiot.
Hiya mate, not sure about any quick fix for that aside from getting a new pull start! Sometimes it's possible to reattach the cord and wind the spring but easier and pretty cheap to just replace with a new one
Yes they can be fixed. If the cord is damaged you can buy Venetian blind cord 2mm from Bunnings. But you need to check if your spring is ok. Then watch bug404 videos he will show you how to fix

Correct! But don't overtighten it so not to damage spring.
