Do you think Jackson is good enough to be Chelsea's leading striker? 🤔

Im a Chelsea fan, i totally get what Mr. Deeney was saying. I tgibk Jackson was originally bought as a back up to Nkunku. I think Jackson will gett better. He is only 22 remember. He has got very good attributes, he just needs coaching. He has pace, he has ability. He needs to work on his Head work and finishing. But i have seen a improvement over the season. Just my opinion.

Nico is a 20 year old kid man. Im no footballer but im just 2 years older than him and even i make mistakes at work, but i try to learn from them and get better. I dunno how I'd be if people treated me and my blunders the way these footballers are treated.
And its not an argument to say ,"but he's making so much money " cos he didn't negotiate that money for himself an agent did and Chelsea thought he was worth that money.
Lets just support these lads. I too get upset after losses where they miss sitters, but it'll all be well soon i hope

Jackson will be 23 in June. Yes, he is still relatively young , but not a “kid”. Sadly, he’s not ready to be the main striker at a top European heavy weight like Chelsea, but that’s not his fault. The fault lies with clueless Chelsea management who threw him in at the deep end when he wasn’t ready. However, I am sure he will get better in time. Will he ever be a top class striker? Only time will tell, but he will need to get that killer instinct quickly. Something that’s desperately lacking at this time.

All the other work he does and how much he creates is something that can’t be taught, his finishing can be. Look at Thierry Henry, he learnt to be a cold finisher wasn’t born as one but had all the other aspects of a top top player before that point

Since you posted this comment 10 days ago, Jackson scored against Tottenham, scored two goals against West Ham, and scored the game winner against Forest. Congratulations for being one of the many lazy and reactionary people out there who write him off far too early. He’s 22, in his first season in England, playing his first full season as a striker, and has massive amounts of potential. Your comment did not age well.

07/08 season, League One 35 games played 1 goal 1 assist 3 yellow cards. 08/09 same league 45 games 12 goals. 09/10 also league one 42 games 14 goals 7 assists. So it took him 3 years in League one to get to Jackson numbers. Then he had another 5 years in the Championship and it took him 3 years to get to Jakcon numbers. And then after 8 or 9 years of sernior football in the EPL he basicly did Jackson numbers. The guy has no shame, no perspective, was a scrub and disgraced himself after his pro footballing career as a manager.
Meanwhile Jackson is doing well in his first season in the EPL at 22. It's his second season of pro football. 6 years ago he was playing with no shoes. I wonder if Troy "Halaand" Deeney went throgh the same path.
