Benji, as a girl who grew up with a very absent father, these videos warm my heart. I wish to have had this type of relationship with my dad like you do with your girls. ❤
It’s very healing to watch him with the girls. I also did not have this growing up and I think I tear up every time I watch these. Love that these girls have this kind of dad to raise them.
Yes ! This , I had my first and she’s 11m and I can’t wait to see her and her dad hang out . My dad got deported when I was 12 and I missed him everyday . I wish I had a relationship with my father , I’m 32 now and I still think about him everyday.
Bilo-Bilo is bomb❤✨✨ and Juliana remembering it as the last Momma food she ate is very heartwarming. It's amazing how kindness lives throughout generations. ❤❤
Benji, what an awesome Dad you are! Judy us an awesome Mom too! The girls are growing up so fast. They are all beautiful! I love your grocery shopping with the girls. God Bless!
Benji, I've been watching your families videos since Judy was pregnant withJB. I am just in complete awe every single day of the parents that you both are to your girls. They're still young, but you can tell that they've been raised INCREDIBLY well. Y'all are doing an amazing job and even though I don't personally know you... I love you.. and you mean more to this community than you know. Keep doing what you're doing, there's ALWAYS somebody thats watching and is inspired by your love, creativity, and passion.
I’m glad you’re showing the girls they can “splurge” on important things like the food they eat!! This will be a life lesson that will benefit them for life! Great vlog Benji!
# 1 Dad! 🏆 Your family is so blessed to have you. Cooking and cleaning are not easy everyday tasks. Y’all have an ideal family. So lovely and fun! 🙏🎉😄🥳
Its so fun to see Benji go to the supermarket with the older girls now that they’re grown up and can take things on their own❤ makes me think back to how they were sitting in the cart 9 years ago
I really had fun watching the video as well with the big girls. OOOh Benji now that you're doing your channel again and really out here buying and trying new things and stuff its now making it exciting for the big kids as well. Loving this new relaxed cooking channel, its fun to watch than trying to do those boring cooking channels that do everything so perfect, but I can understand if you need to once in awhile, but love the family style cooking channel. Also I'm learning even more about the ingredients and different foods and brands that you use on the vlog channel, its more detailed.
13:57 Not sure if the girls tried the anchovies yet, but how we eat in the Philippines, we eat with tomatoes chopped with fish sauce (patis). We eat with rice for breakfast.
Benji-when you have the new property up and running, I recommend getting some chickens! The egg quality is unmatched and you can add organic dried spices to your feed to get the golden egg yolk effect 🤗
Benji seeing you being so present in your daughter life is kinda nice seeing because i have a dad but he was never in my life to take me out or teach me the things you are doing with your girls. ❤ keep up the great work in being a great husband to your wife and a great dad to your babies ❤ love how you and judy always make solo dates with them! Thats something my husband and i started to do now because of you guys
Love the energy & excitement that Keira and Julianna bring to your video! Let them enjoy & try new things! Julianna is so sweet in remembering Mamas Bilo-Bilo. Keira is totally a Filipina loving those Vienna sausages! Loving your daily uploads Benji!
So fun love seeing what the girls pick out! You guys always get lots of things for the kids so sweet! I love fresh jackfruit it's the best i think it's fun opening it kinda soothing!❤🎉
when checking eggs for cracks, don’t just look at it when you open the lid to the carton. look at the bottom of the egg too. most of the times, the crack is at the bottom
Benji!!! I love when you do videos like this!!! I don't have a asian market where i live so when i get a chance to go to one i always try to look back on y'all's videos to see what you recommend. Thank you.
i remember keira ate anchovies in the Philippines and i can't forget the proud look on ate judys face that time lol. its a common snack here. Sweetened dilis (anchovies). my fave
We use the Three Lady Brand Jasmine rice from Thailand. And during the New Year you have to get the new crop one. Something about it tastes so much better.
You can fry the anchovy (usually dried split version) till crispy. Great sprinkled on fried rice or even plain rice with soupy dishes. Salty crispy bites.
JB’s face remembering Mama made me teary eyed. Btw Benjie, similar to the Kewpie, the Sriracha made in the US does not taste the same as the one from Thailand. 😊 Nice to see the girls enjoying grocery and bonding time with you!
Those lycée jellys are one of my favorite treats! I have a big container of them. I wish there were big store like that one in maine but theres one that is big but compare it to that store it super small. The prices of stuff in each state and store is different.
Bilo bilo- it’s like sweetened rice with all the goodness in it- like yes, one of the ingredients is jackfruit. And fun fact, In the south / mindanao- we call it binignit.
2:41 jackfruit seeds are edible too, just boil them like potatoes, or pressure cook them, salt and some paprika, just amazing, we eat them like these here back in south India!
Love these videos! Also tinned anchovies on pizza is delish but I like to take one and put it on top rather than bake it in. Since they are so salty I like to control the placement. Also banana peppers on a pizza is delish!
Yes everybody loves a haul!! I definitely do JB! $400+ ??? That’s crazy but we’ll worth it with all the goodies and fun times at every moment with the girls. Ramen eggs 😂
This was fun! I make my shopping lists from your videos. Thank you for opening up a whole new world of foods for me, Japanese & Filipino style, from Miso butter on Japanese sweet potatoes to Cabbage Ramen, Sinigang & Lumpia + exotic fruits! This Polish American never had Curry. It's not easy finding ingredients here in DE but in the end it all comes together.👍🏻👩🏼🍳 😋
Hello Benji and JB and Kiera. 🤗❤️ Thankyou for sharing I don't think we have this store in my area in the UK but I will definitely check if there is one maybe London UK. Benji do you know if this store is in the UK. would love to shop there looks amazing items. Thankyou for sharing Benji much appreciated as always. Love to the family 👍
I was just gonna say, the last time I was at Uwajimaya, it looked totally different. I think Kyla had just graduated from middle school, and we stayed with an uncle on Mercer Island.
Durian is known as the King of fruit, & is known to be extremely nutritious. It has a long list of health benefits, some of which include boost immune system, delay aging, strengthen bones & is believed to possess aphrodisiac properties.
Here is a good egg recipe for egg with rice. Take fish sauce, oil, and pepper. Heat it up and then add your egg and scramble it. It’s so good and a comfort food for me. It’s a very simple Vietnamese dish. If you want to add other ingredients you could. But do not eliminate the fish sauce.
I thought it was Turon - lumpia wrapper with saba (banana), jackfruit, sugar then fry it. Bilo bilo (also called as Halo Halo), since you mentioned mochi 😊
Hi Benji. I’ve had anchovies on pizza since I was a child it’s very tasty. I would love a supermarket like this in the UK we just have small independent Japanese stores.
Jackfruit or Langka cooked it with sugar making it syrupy and add it to Halo-halo and Bilo-bilo.... especially if the jackfruit is ripe...good for making it syrupy...
Benji I think it’s called ginataang with bilo biloit’s a desert with sago pearls, sweet potatoes, bilo bilo ( glutinous starch ) and saba (banana) and offcourse with the langka (jackfruit) and coconut milk. If I’m not mistaken this is the philipino dessert that you’re saying.
In Korean it’s says “Oreo o’s” and it is Oreo, from the actual brand! Also the big anchovies that were in the freezer in Korean is used for a lot of Korean broths. We usually eat this too as a “anju” or side when drinking soju or somaek (soju and beer). Or any type of alcohol really. Love watching your videos! Juliana is so big now😮
I love the one bite rule, gets your kids to try new stuff and if after one bite they don’t like it then that’s ok. It was obviously Benji and JB going into the shop but I totally knew the third one was Keira and not Mia because of the way she tucked her hands up her sleeves and had the ends swinging loose 😂. From when all the girls were littles you have taken them grocery shopping Benji and now three of your littles are not so little anymore and I’m not surprised you found it scary that JB & Keira left you as your usually out with your remaining two littles, must have felt lonely, not in a totally bad way but, the girls are growing up and that is scary, done it with my kids and my grandkids now. I love kewpie mayo but I can’t get it in Sainsbury’s anymore, probably because of the cost of living price rises so I did get the cheaper version and, although its better than regular mayo it’s definitely not as good as real kewpie. ❤❤
omg the gummy choco JB picked out is sooo addicting, it's like one of the best Japanese candies imo edit: paused video and came back to it and finished watching.. yes, that is Korean Oreo cereal, the box says "Oh-ree-oh"
Benji, as a girl who grew up with a very absent father, these videos warm my heart. I wish to have had this type of relationship with my dad like you do with your girls. ❤
What a kind compliment to Benji, he is really is very sweet father to the girls.
Benji, he is really a very sweet father to the girls. I messed up that remark.😣
I literally said that as he was at the check out with tears in my eyes cause I missed out as well….i said “ Benji is such a great father!”🥲🥲🥲
It’s very healing to watch him with the girls. I also did not have this growing up and I think I tear up every time I watch these. Love that these girls have this kind of dad to raise them.

Kiera talking to future Miya about missing out 😂😂 and JB telling her “ok Kiera “ 😂😂😂🤣
Benji you have no idea you are healing my inner child seeing a man be a dad
I love these videosss. It's like another POV of the fam. So pure 🥰🥰🥰
Glad you like them!
JB what a sweetheart “Do you want me to pay you back for this?” 🥺❤

I am so happy you are back uploading videos on your channel again Benji. Love it when the girls accompany you to the store too. 😊
Watching that was soooo much fun! I smiled all the way through. The girl’s enthusiasm!! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
Keira - “😲I found mochi “
Benji- “what?! You found anchovies”
😂
it's the ginatan bilo-bilo that mama used to cook and she puts jackfruit in it. =)
Julianna remembering mama making that dish was so sweet. 🥹
I’m glad you’re showing the girls they can “splurge” on important things like the food they eat!! This will be a life lesson that will benefit them for life! Great vlog Benji!

JB was terrified when Benji told her she had to try the anchovies 😂😂
9:40 lmaoooooo when she says "all the rip off's" My son calls them "off brands" 🤣kids are the cutest!
loving these food vlogs Benji, they just make me inspired to cook yummy homemade meals again when i've been feeling lazy with cooking
love that the girls are excited for the grocery trips with daddy again... at one point it was down to the littles. Juliana excited for trader joes
I love that you have been posting more cooking videos and things you are interested in. Thank you! ❤

Drooooling at this haul! I love seeing you have this experience with your girls ❤

Loving these grocery shopping vlogs!!
“can i pay you back for this?” huhuhu jb 🥺 such a sweet baby.. you were raised better than me. 😂🥰
🥺

Ginataan/Bilo-Bilo is what I think you're thinking of lol
when checking eggs for cracks, don’t just look at it when you open the lid to the carton. look at the bottom of the egg too. most of the times, the crack is at the bottom

I think keira also eat dried worm. Shes so brave❤
Oh yeah, ginataang halo-halo/ bilo-bilo was the last food Mama served them on her last vlog. ❤ good job JB 🫶🏻
So proud of y’all to bring up mama !!
My partners family (Chinese) cooks pork with skin on either by stewing or grilling until the skin is crispy!
Anchovies are good in pasta sauce. When you are first starting the sauce...cooking the onions and garlic. Add a couple in.

12:50 HAHAHA literally Oreo in Hangul (Korean alphabet) I saw this while in Korea. We bought as ‘gifts’ to family in US.
12:46 you’re right, Keira! That’s oreo written in Korean 🤗
Those lycée jellys are one of my favorite treats! I have a big container of them. I wish there were big store like that one in maine but theres one that is big but compare it to that store it super small. The prices of stuff in each state and store is different.
Turon!! Fried banana with jackfruit rolled in lumpia wrapper.

I’ll try both
love this content! Keep it coming!
So much fun to watch!
tried anchovies in my salad recently and it was super tasty!
I love your videos so so much Benji ! And your good explanations when you cook ❤
The entire video I honestly wanted to know the grand total of the grocery and thank you for mentioning it! Dayuuuum
Surprised by that too!!
Yes everybody loves a haul!! I definitely do JB! $400+ ??? That’s crazy but we’ll worth it with all the goodies and fun times at every moment with the girls. Ramen eggs 😂
ive been loving the vids benji !!!
I'm loving your grocery store runs with the girls!
Pork with skin? We use it to have lechon kawali then dip it with mang Tomas sauce. It's crunchy because it's deep fried.
Grew up going to the same location with my grandparents
This was fun! I make my shopping lists from your videos. Love hearing this. Thanks. Love from 🇺🇸
@@BenjiManTV You're welcome, Benji! 🥰
Aloha Benji & 'Ohana I remember Mama making Bilo Bilo with Jackfruit so good:) love & miss her dearly. Hope to see you all again one day soon!
Yes. It’s bilo bilo
Benji, I have been eating anchovies on pizza my whole life in Chicago. I just assumed it was a thing everywhere.
Pinoy vibes comes through hard in the girls…Spam, corn beef annnd Vienna sausages. Trifecta of canned meat staples in a Filipino household!!
Mamas influence ☺️
@@BenjiManTVtrue, every filipino mom. My mama also influence us with chorizo, but we buy the chinese style.
JB is such a sweetheart asking if you want her to pay you back 😭🥺🥺
Totally
Hello Benji and JB and Kiera. 🤗❤️ Thankyou for sharing I don't think we have this store in my area in the UK but I will definitely check if there is one maybe London UK. Benji do you know if this store is in the UK. would love to shop there looks amazing items. Thankyou for sharing Benji much appreciated as always. Love to the family 👍
Girls were right...would've loved seeing a haul. Lol
I was just gonna say, the last time I was at Uwajimaya, it looked totally different. I think Kyla had just graduated from middle school, and we stayed with an uncle on Mercer Island.
You should have let them try Durian. Like you said “just one bite” It’s actually really good IMO
Durian is known as the King of fruit, & is known to be extremely nutritious. It has a long list of health benefits, some of which include boost immune system, delay aging, strengthen bones & is believed to possess aphrodisiac properties.
Many restaurants serve anchovy pizza in Italy. It’s actually not bad. Just a bit salty…
Loooovveeee this groceries vlog especially with the girls 🥰🥰
Yup! That’s Oreo o’s in Korean!
I thought it was Turon - lumpia wrapper with saba (banana), jackfruit, sugar then fry it.
Bilo bilo (also called as Halo Halo), since you mentioned mochi 😊
How much monthly is your food budget?
Look at Keira in her lil hoops😂❤ looking like her auntie Mel
Hi Benji. I’ve had anchovies on pizza since I was a child it’s very tasty. I would love a supermarket like this in the UK we just have small independent Japanese stores.
geezz! I wish I can go to your meet and greet here in manila! Last time you went here I even had a selfie with you and judys mom at Sm aura!
Watching Benji say yes to everything makes me think it’s time for another yes day 😁
They are so grown up!
JB's face when she was told she had to try to Anchovies😂
Love the videos Benji 😊
Jackfruit or Langka cooked it with sugar making it syrupy and add it to Halo-halo and Bilo-bilo.... especially if the jackfruit is ripe...good for making it syrupy...
"Can I pay you back for this?" LOL so cute
JB n Keira terrified to try anchovies but they’re fine with nato 🤪🤣
Right?!
Were you referring to bilo-bilo?
>$400 for one stop is pretty steep! How often do you make Uwaji runs?
She made bilo bilo I miss mama. I’m was just watching that blog today when she cut that jackfruit
I Can’t believe how tall Julianne is getting and how beautiful your daughters are 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes, cheaper and better if you get the jackfruit..pods and seeds are edible
Pizza anchovies are bigger. Shakey’s Friday Specials is the best! Comes with anchovies then we order extra!
In Korean it’s says “Oreo o’s” and it is Oreo, from the actual brand! Also the big anchovies that were in the freezer in Korean is used for a lot of Korean broths. I LOVE fukujinsike too! Mandatory with curry! Also the Ox & Palm corned beef is the wagyu of corn beef brands. The absolute best. Worth the price
I love the one bite rule, gets your kids to try new stuff and if after one bite they don’t like it then that’s ok. Benji the dessert you’re thinking of is ginataan! So delicious!
Good job girls Bilo Bilo***🎉🎉🎉
use the pork skin on with pork adobo.. you can add it on your sinigang too
