    Man bro I paid for full time filmmaker course and this hands down was way better than that… and only 8 minutes… the way you talk and explain in detail… take your time… and the calmness of your tone all make learning from you a breeze… THANK YOU!!!! I MEAN THAT!!!

    I shoot stills almost 100% of the time but did find this video helpful. I may practice some of the ideas to test it. Thanks!

    super tuto. we want more :-) I don't understand when you say that using 100iso could make grain when 640iso is native to camera. I have a sony a7iv. can't i use 100 iso ? About profile, I like to use cinetone. Not yet understood what we do with log, during shooting and after it in premiere pro.

    Great vid and info !..How to determine native ISO?

    • @Netaction
      @Netaction ปีที่แล้ว

      Below native ISO, most cameras don‘t have 100% white in the footage. So you find native ISO by searching for the lowest ISO that has white in the histogram. The tip in this video was wrong (as most other tips). The advantage of filming below the native ISO is: The noise level is lower, dark parts have less noise. ISO is even the wrong word. It is not the sensitivity of the sensor as this cant be changed. It is the gain of the next processing step. An overexposed sensor will stay overexposed no matter what gain is used while digitalisation. It just becomes flat gray. This is the reason why whites tend to burn out in lowest ISO settings.

    I'm looking for a tutorial for dummies to set my R5 up to record 8k video. Can you please help with this? Thank you for your time. 🤗

    How do you find the native iso for your camera?

  • @jerryrichards8172
    @jerryrichards8172 ปีที่แล้ว

    So what happens if your useing a lense not designed for 8K.
    Dose it not take the pic ?
    Or dose it take the picture but at the reduced quality of the lower graded lense?

    Anyone know the lumix s5 mark ii native iso ?

    • @jacobh5817
      @jacobh5817 ปีที่แล้ว

      The S5mkII has dual-ISO. In normal mode the native ISOs are 100 and 640. In V-Log it is 640 and 4000. In HLG it’s 400 and 2500 and in Cinelike it’s 200 and 1250.
