- Rare footage of the Cathedrals performing at the 1999 National Quartet Convention. During this time, Glen was out sick and Roger was filling in on the the lead part. Glen called in from the hospital later that week and gave his legendary last performance of "I Won't Have To Cross Jordan Alone".
Members:

There are not really that many singers who have such an anointing so as to retain it even up till death....George Jones was one , and here , George Younce is yet another ...Clear deep bass his whole life long ...I do miss him and Glenn ...
I had a hard time distinguishing Roger’s voice from Ernie’s. They almost sounded the same. I like Glen Payne’s rendition of this song better than this with Roger’s. But I loved that he stepped in to do the lead after Glen died. Roger was such a talented guy! All these men with the Cathedrals were so good. I miss all of them.
That. Day. Is here. For. George. And. Glen. Now. We. Can. Only. Pray. For. Ourselves now
Great footage from the 99 NQC, i remember this well, i was there in the stands. What great memories.
George was and still is the man!
Absolutely! He was great even up until his last performances.
Caras como George e Glen deveriam viver para sempre.
I agree! Let’s include Roger Bennett please.
meu baixo preferido, nunca haverá igual a ele!
Lyrics
Some morning soon I'm gonna take to the air
I'm gonna leave this world of sorrow and care
I'll hear the welcome bells all ringing
Homeward I'll be winging when they call my name
Some of these mornings they'll be calling my name
Calling me yonder to that heavenly plain
And when I see them swinging wide those pearly gates
I'll be ready, I won't have to hesitate
I'll fly up high just like a bird in the sky
Then I'll be leaving this world, yes, I'll be saying goodbye
And I'll have nothing to lose and everything to gain
When they call my name
It won't be long 'til I shall hear the trump sound
It won't be long 'til I shall leave this low ground
My heart with gladness overflowing
Homeward I'll be going when they call my name
Some of these mornings they'll be calling my name
Calling me yonder to that heavenly plain
And when I see them swinging wide those pearly gates
I'll be ready, I won't have to hesitate
I'll fly up high just like a bird in the sky
Then I'll be leaving this world, yes, I'll be saying goodbye
And I'll have nothing to lose and everything to gain
When they call my name
Some of these mornings they'll be calling my name
Calling me yonder to that heavenly plain
And when I see them swinging wide those pearly gates
I'll be ready, I won't have to hesitate
I'll fly up high just like a bird in the sky
Then I'll be leaving this world, yes, I'll be saying goodbye
And I'll have nothing to lose and everything to gain
When they call my name
When they call my name
When they call my name
I'll be ready, I won't have to hesitate
Call my name
