This was fun! Hey Hidden Xperia, if you're thinking of doing more _What Ifs_ in the future, here's an idea for one: *What If Chief Joined Cortana in Guardians or Infinite?* I like the idea of Chief SPNKing Humanity. We deserve it now, let alone so far in the future.
and the fact that they are responsible for killing most of humanity all because of a lie. the arbiter probably doesn't feel like he deserves any mercy for being responsible for most of it. some probably find it hard to understand why any human can consider mercy
If you read the books you'll realise that many sangheili don't trust humanity even after their betrayal, they had a whole civil war on sanghelios about it, it's just that the game shows us what is realistically a rather small contingent of sangheilli that decided, thanks mostly to the arbiter, to help humanity. Most of the sangheilli were most likely busy still fighting the schism in covenant space and probably still viewed humanity with at worst, hostile intent, and at best with suspicion, given that you can't blame humanity for wanting to get revenge against the species that was at the vanguard of the genocidal crusade against them, in fact the kilo-five trilogy shows this perfectly, ONI getting it's revenge on behalf of humanity by arming the civil war factions on sanghielios
Hello, Hidden Xperia. I have a pretty cool video idea dude. What if Rtas Vadum followed the Arbiter to the index in halo 2 instead of going to fight the flood. Just think what would happen! Tartarus may not of had a chance to betray the Arbiter and a entire fight would have happened between Tartarus and his brutes vs. Arbiter and Rtas. Just a idea. Love ur vids and keep up the great work.
That's a very interesting hypothesis actually. Those two are the most powerful Swords of Sangheilios. Tartarus and two Brutes vs. Two Sangheili war heroes. I think they slaughter Tartarus, but possibly, in that instance, fail to learn the truth about Halo.
@chocolatesquirrel100 It certainly is, but Tartarus neither has the brains or the skill to match Thel Vadam in a fight, unless he has his super overshield! You can see throughout the story, he is incredibly envious and jealous of the Arbiter, and can't wait to see him dead.
That sounds pretty cool, although I think if that did happen, for the writing, and even realistically, I think it would end with one of them dead, and the other one taken by the gravemind
That fight would be such a beautiful sight and the elites would be victorious but I'm afraid rtas would probably die in the process... hopefully I'm wrong.
My headcannon for the plothole of Truth's activation of the Rings is that Truth's fleet had reclaimers, but couldn't use them when Rtas tore through the fleet, killing the reclaimers. He may have had extras, but was in a rush when Rtas's ship rushed towards him. That would explain why captured Johnson. He didn't have time to get the extras.
Interesting but here’s a question since hypothetical videos are a thing now, *what would happen if the flood didn’t betray you in Halo 3* and what would happen with possible future betrayals and how would it effect the future of the series? Just a thought

Nice video, but here’s my thought process on this scenario. If the Elites were to betray the Covenant, I think it would be Rtas that would ignite that betrayal and attempt to kill Lord Hood, NOT The Arbiter. In fact, I think Thel would actually step in and kill Rtas before he could attempt to kill Lord Hood. Remember, The Arbiter is basically a peacekeeper, especially after his revelation that the war between his species and humanity was based on a lie. He wants peace and partnership with humanity, thus he wouldn’t want to start another war with humanity. I honestly believe that if the Elites attempted to betray humanity, Thel would intervene and stop it. That’s just my thoughts on the matter though.
The only point I disagree with is Rtas not following the plague ship to earth. The elites had been tracking that ship since it broke through the blockade, and despite the elites and humans not being allies at that point, I don’t think Rtas would let an entire planet become infected even if he didn’t care for the species at risk
@@FallenSoul-fp9ur the flood helped chief just becuase the OVERMIND knew that if they fighted chief and arbither they wouldnt be able to reach truth before he fired the halo rings
@9:00 No, there is another solution. The flood may have revealed themselves earlier for the final battle in front of the citadel. We don't know what prompted the Gravemind to choose the time they revealed themselves. They may have been sitting the battle out. Also, the Gravemind may have been able to deploy vehicles to aid in the final fight. I find it unlikely that he had no banshees/seraphs after taking control of the ENTIRETY of high charity. He very likely had large numbers of forces ready to deploy at his command.
Can we have another what if video but it be like "what if cheif and arbiter found the didact in Halo 3" just to see how hypothetically the story would play out. Just a thought, please consider this as an idea Mr Xperia. Thank you and have a great day
I feel like this clip shouldn't be a topic. The Elites that sided with the Arbiter are very much like Worf's type of Klingons. Honor bound. Smart and knowing when you're not only wrong but also having the eyes to see that there's a bigger more deadlier enemy to stand together against. Not talking about the Covenant.... Elites could dismantle them on their own in good time.. *The Flood* and *Halo*
Few issues I have here. 1) Assassinating Hood wouldn't have been simple with the Master Chief present. That would have caused issues. 2) The Arbiter is stated to be the Chief's Sangheili equivalent and is his equal. He could mow down hoards of Covenant same as the Chief, as we saw in Halo 2. 3) What of the Flood outbreak on the Ark? That would have remained rampant and unchecked after High Charity crashed, Cortana remaining in the Gravemind's grasp along with the index.
Ghost _ did the same thing in the latter part of halo 2. When ur in the heat of the fight, it’s hard to notice that the only difference between good covies and bad covies is a different color crosshair.
What if they remade all the halo campaigns In halo infinite? With the new engine it would look amazing and we wouldnt need a halo 3 anniversary. Playing halo 4 and 5s campaign would be great with the infinite art style! A man can dream!
Truth actually had many humans, a few workers from voi, and a few dozen marines on his capital ship, he just didnt bring them immediately because the ship was on the way.

Another thing that needs to be considered in analysis is that the Arbiter of Halo3 and the Arbiter of Halo2 while the same character are not completely identical. The Arbiter of Halo 2 is a one man army killing wrecking crew, completely unyielding and unkillable. The Arbiter in Halo 3 was toned down some in the plot and turned into a "side kick" due to unnecessary criticism that Bungie received from adding that deutero protagonist. In reality, the Arbiter would've been the leader, and the MC the follower, with all the intel to put the Covenant down. Remember @HiddenXperia, this is a character that Agent Locke and the ONI AI deemed unbeatable when he is unimpeded from doing his work.
"There'd be higher casualties because, well, Chief wouldn't be there to mow down hordes upon hordes of Covenant" That's what the Arbiter is for, my dude.

The other Spartan II & some Spartan I's die against the flood. A floodform tried to infect a Spartan I but "failed" (their augmentations made them harder to infect). Some Sangheili were surprised that some Marines were Spartan I's because the difference between a Spartan I and II were pretty big. The glassing destroyed a few Human Insurgency facilities and became more furious against the sangheili. (this may have a connection with the sangheili civil war and Insurgency's use with the flood) Hope you liked it.

New alternate timeline theory: Instead of the elites siding with humanity because of the great schism, the brutes get tired of being second to the elites and decide to form a truce with humanity to take out the covenant instead. imagine the chaos of humanity trying to reason and create battle plans with the brutes
“Bungie thought it would confuse the player if they were allied with species that they were currently killing.” ...I wonder how many Halo players play games that involve you killing other humans....But that doesn’t confuse anyone..
The one way it could be worse on the Ark would be the fact that the flood would gain near total access to the entire Ark facility. That would be incredibly dangerous in ways we don't fully understand. There would be no human to issue a tactical pulse on the new 04 installation, and Cortana would have broken eventually. The grave mind would have access to the entirety of that installation and its knowledge, as well as the strongest man-made AI in existence.

Your voice sounded PERFECT. Also, great vid man
New alternate timeline theory: Instead of the elites siding with humanity because of the great schism, the brutes get tired of being second to the elites and decide to form a truce with humanity to take out the covenant instead. imagine the chaos of humanity trying to reason and create battle plans with the brutes
I think that if humanity and brutes would just kill each other.
Boe that you talked about the elites, how about a video on the Imperial Admiral of the elites, Xytan 'Jar Wattinree next?
OWO i got something to watch now
this is a nice video. thank you so much for making these videos for us all to watch!
I’m so glad you’re here! HaloFollower posted a video today and tried to take me from you..
At this point, the answer to everything is the flood, and I love it. GIVE ME MORE!!!!
First of there will be 4 kinds of things fighting like elites vs covenant vs flood and then at last it will be the sentinals if they get that far in
“Bungie thought it would confuse the player if they were allied with species that they were currently killing.” ...I wonder how many Halo players play games that involve you killing other humans....But that doesn’t confuse anyone..
Truth going to the ark is like that one time I went to my buddies house with my Xbox to Co-op legendary Halo 2 and I forgot the controllers.
Great video HiddenXperria.
Your voice is buttery smooth. I love it 117%
The one way it could be worse on the Ark would be the fact that the flood would gain near total access to the entire Ark facility. That would be incredibly dangerous in ways we don't fully understand. There would be no human to issue a tactical pulse on the new 04 installation, and Cortana would have broken eventually. The grave mind would have access to the entirety of that installation and its knowledge, as well as the strongest man-made AI in existence.
9:31
Paused here. The flaw in all this is that in the end the flood now control the only thing capable of stopping them.
Alternate scenario video cool😎
Hey Xperia I love your videos do and I don’t want to sound needy since you’re probably busy making even more great videos but I wish you could make a video in which High Charity invaded Earth. I haven’t seen anyone else’s opinion so I would like to see yours to see what you would think.
You're the only youtuber in my list who've I turned the bell on for, keep up the amazing vids! 😄
If you hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have thought you had a new mic. You sound just fine my guy.
