Thank you guys so much for mentioning the dragonfish tenugui! ❤ I looked at quite a few guides on how to grind for the TFMT, and every single one said something along the lines of "there is nothing you can do to get more xp for the hero/freelancer job". I'll check out the 3rd floor of the Kamurocho mahjong palor as soon as possible. Thanks again!
@Em Yeah, i meant for the last dungeon, everyone will be one shotting him, but if you make him high level in enforcer first (before going caster again), he can stand a shot before dyng.
Fun fact, Kasuga's legendary hero's bat (the chainable one for the workshop) has a thing where it increases number of hits during a normal attack from 3 to six. Not THE most helpful thing but if you're trying to ensure as many combo hits for a vagabond followup I wanted to put that out there. IMO nothing is a substitue for Rapid Shot (although I've seen combo beat used too).
Best trick to getting through the sewers & levelling up at the same time is to buy 10 smoke bombs & simply evade all battles except for the four including the invested homeless man. I think all in all there's about 14 battles & some of them are optional if you just want to pick up extra items or open up a few extra safes. Last tip. Maybe save 1 smoke bomb for the last battle before you leave the sewer (that battle is kinda long) & you can get a few items from the floor & also the gold safes (make sure you have enough keys) & yeah just rinse & repeat as many times as you want.
I'm finding it much quicker to run away from the first two fights, do the first fight for the XP then leave and go back in Taking about 2 and a half minutes per run, seems quicker than going through all the fights for little XP
Eventually when your jobs are a high enough level you can use a multi enemy essence move to kill everyone instantly which is still pretty quick, most of the time I tried to escape it would fail so ended up just killing everyone I encountered
@@Fleshlight_Reviewer I replayed like a dragon for the plat on ps5 and escaping with L1 from non-vagabond battles was a lot quicker, if you run away from a fight the enemies despawn so you can just focus on the vagabonds
I'm at NG+ now and desperately finding ways to max lvl 99 few jobs because the mobs in Legend mode is basically few hit KOing my characters if I didn't clear them within four of my turns. I tried killing the Vagabond lvl 30 in Yokohama dungeon, but very few EXP and I rather go grinding normal mobs with gives additional job exp for each kill. Is there a way I'm not familiar with on how to max at least 2 or 3 of the job levels to 99, like Kamurocho dungeon or final millenium tower or sotenbori arena during NG+ under Legend mode?
Yup, you're right. I rushed to chapter 15 to test lvl 50 Invested Vagabond in Kamurocho dungeon. Regardless of difficulty, they still give approx 417k Exp and Job Exp. So with NG+ double accessories for certain jobs, giving guaranteed 834k++ Job exp each kill. Since the mobs are super hard in Legend, figured might as well lower the difficulty to Normal and farm Vagabonds since Normal and Legend Vagabonds gave same exp.
Yes they give massive amounts of EXP if you defeat them, you have to do it in the first one or two turns, they're like metal slimes in dragon quest, you have to defeat them quick to get the reward, use abilities that use consecutive attacks to do the most damage to them
The stat increases from an ordinary rank up may only apply for that job, but the stat increases from specific ranks (take note of yellow orbs on the job’ skill list) are permanent and are one of two good reasons to rank up jobs. The other reason is obviously the character skills you can learn that stick to the character, despite not being on the job
Yes, this game takes a lot of inspiration from dragon quest so that's the perfect comparison, these are a lot easier to kill than metal slimes though as your hits don't miss all the time
I know you can kill these normally but how in legend difficulty? There’s a few in the Ijincho sewers that even with Eri and Saeko using bullet of honor for huge amounts of multi hits the guy has so much hp. Is there a better way of killing it?
