    I've been watching you young men build and enjoy the fruits of your labor for a while...I'm a old gear head and it brings a smile to my face to see young people doing these builds...Oh and it's great fab and engineering skills y'all have...I'm a metal fabricator for Ingersoll rand.
    Keep up the good work. 👍

    Y’all seriously know how to build stuff to top notch quality and to work flawlessly. I know your videos aren’t a how to, and they really can’t be to a degree. Everything you do is all custom stuff really. But watching y’all build is absolutely badass. It reminds me on Nate from dirtlifestyle. All his stuff is supper custom as well and to watch the process and everything is amazing. Quality content, I look forward to the future of this build for sure!!

      Thank you so much man!! Happy to hear you understand the struggle 😂😂 if it was a how too, it would be 3.5 hours long and by the end the only people watching would be our parents and engineers 🤣🤣🤣🤣

      On their backhalf kit.
      I was shocked when out of the blue motobuilt called me and asked how everything was going with the build, did i have any questions.

    When I first started watching your channel (IDK- maybe a couple of months ago now?) I coulda swore you mentioned how you wanted to be uploading new content every week? That's the reason why 'I' have been wondering about the longer times between.
    Anyhoo - So, here I've been watching Matt's Off Road Recovery for probably *well* over a year now and I anxiously await every Sunday for his content... Yet after opening TH-cam this morning and *his* being the *first* suggestion and *with* a picture of the *Morrvair* in the thumbnail, on the Home page - there was *yours* way towards the bottom right corner.
    *Guess* whose video I clicked on first?
    So now I'm off to watch Matt's video. Before I go - I want to wish you all good luck on your current builds. And being long-winded as I am, wanted to add that I have access to a hand-held plasma cutter at the business I work at - but still prefer to cut components out with my angle grinder at home because it's hit-and-miss with the clean edges on the plasma.

    • @PeckBrothers
      @PeckBrothers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you man!! We really appreciate you taking the time to comment, that makes us stoked we were the first watch this morning 😁😁😁 the plas worked pretty good but it does take a second to correct the cut with a flap wheel but man it takes forever to cut through with a cutoff wheel too 😂😂😂

    How did you guys get started with custom frame work? Is it a matter of trial and error? Any good resources for a newbie trying to learn? I just swapped an LQ4 into my YJ. I plan on going to ORI struts next and know I need to do my frame work at the same time

    • @PeckBrothers
      @PeckBrothers  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I highly suggest starting with the center section of the chassis, and just front half and back half a stock frame!! Doing the center section in my (Cayleb) opinion isn’t worth the work 😂😂 and yes you just cut a piece and hold it up, cut it again and get it where you want it and tack it on while just keeping the 2 sides square and matching!!

  • @scottrblum
    @scottrblum ปีที่แล้ว

    What size tube is that center section? Looks like 5x2.5 or maybe even 6x2.5?
