This song absolutely blows my heart out and fills my veins with electric energy. On a warm summers day I put the top down on my MX5 and I literally blast it out as I drive through the mountains to my local golf course. By the time I get there Im pumped up to tear the course apart.

Not an every day band, not an every day music, thats 4 shure... but there are those certain days... those certain moments... those certain people that just fit this music. So i love this band. Long time. Ever since i accidentaly found their "I wanna be adored" cover 5-6-7 years ago on YT. Even tho im an old punk rocker/ metalhead originally, i love this.
Probably not as old as me! I'm 73 and I absolutely love this band, too. I was more into '50s & '60s teen pop, then electronic dance music of the '70s but like all sorts of music---especially this band, Arcade Fire, the Killers, etc. For a similar sounding song to this one try "Pounding" by The Doves!

I found out about The Raveonettes by accident. My girlfriend wanted me to go to the mall with her. And I hate going to the mall with girls. I told her "Babes come on last time I went to the mall with you we were there for three weeks!" But I went anyway to make her happy. I was in one those women's stores were she had to try every dress on. And I heard this song playing in the store. As soon as I heard the first twenty seconds I went to the manager and said "Who is this playing I must know" She said she doesn't know and she will go to the back and look up the artist. As I was waiting for my girlfriend to try on everything else in the damn store, I bought the album on iTunes and was on top of the world. It was totally worth being stuck in the mall for six million hours just to find out about this band.
That's called a serendipitous moment my friend. The internet is wonderful if for no other reason than that.

I first heard of the Raveonettes on JetBlue flying to Boston for a conference. I was hooked to them by listening to “Dead Sound”- When I got to Boston I went and purchased as many of their CDs as I could!
when I was a teenager, at the weekend, I used to go to women's shops and sit on the man seat, so that people would think I had a girlfriend.

I really wasn't digging this album too much when it came out but it has grown on me A LOT over the last couple years and this song is so damn good. That riff pretty much stays the same for 5 and a half minutes but yet with all the other music and the singing and lyrics, I think it's one of their best songs yet
