Totally understand what you mean. Just got rid of all the books and objects that are of "the secret". I was heavy into the New Age for about two months I’m so glad God snatched me right back up after I turn from him since I had studied the Bible quite often before I realize a lot of the principles from the law of attraction were those of scripture and it just hit me basically it’s faith but the law of attraction is faith in yourself. I believe the law of attraction is very very true but God wants us to ask him for things from a place of love.
@Portia Michelle. The law of attraction is not biblical because a law has a tit for tat or quid pro quo aspect to it. God doesn't work like that because He operates by grace. A law would obligate God to respond in certain ways to an instance of obedience. God is obligated to NO ONE BUT HIMSELF. You need to renounce this false concept of God and His nature and His dealings. The Word of Faith movement unfortunately adopted a number of metaphysical concepts from the so-called "mind sciences" (i.e. Christian Science, Unity School of Christianity, etc.). The law of attraction is deceptive because it often works (at least it did for me), but once I started following Jesus I realized that God was the One providing for me-- and I was taking all the credit lol. It makes me sad to know He cared about me all that time, while I was in complete rebellion and hostility towards Him!

Actually true. Through me practicing New Age beliefs back then, demons opressed my life. I went to an exorcist (yes, I am Catholic) and the exorcist did a deliverance on me. After 2 hours, I got tired just by sitting but a lot of what came in went out. Don't do anything related to new age. Very dangerous.
My brother introduced me to the secret when I was about 16 or 17...I can say that at first it seems harmless and true, but over time your mind will become very mixed up and may even cause anxiety because you feel that you have to keep your thoughts and emotions perfect all the time so that you receive good things. It really messed me up because every time I had a negative or grievous emotion, there would be tremendous amounts of condemnation on top of those feelings just for feeling them which led to much confusion, depression, emotional paralysis. I'm sure not everyone will experience this level of problems but nonetheless, it's very dangerous to the mind because the philosophy itself is pretty much based on fantasy and using your mind in a way that defies reality. Yes focus and mental preparedness are useful in this life, but the law of attraction is something else that can really skew your perception of what is real.

I think it's important to acknowledge painful thoughts and feelings if they are there, do not deny them no matter what society says about staying positive...in this life...that is never going to happen. Denying reality, including the reality of pain and real challenges and obstacles in life will never lead to positivity ultimately. For me, keeping track of my own mental b.s. helps me be more grounded where I need to be. There is nothing wrong with having hope and using our imagination and creativity for good, but the problem with the Secret and other New Age stuff is that it gets people stuck in their heads, not living in reality, not seeing reality around them, and making them self centered. That's another thing that helps too is taking time to think outside yourself, think about others, do something for someone else.

Once " the secret " is embedded into your soul it is very difficult to shake off, a remarkably evil and destructive book. I am glad i threw my copy in the bin a few years ago.
I will say this, Chelsea, the so-called “Secret” actually turns something very true as a principle of life in Gods Kingdom upside down, which, of course, is the enemy’s primary strategy. You should, as a matter of knowing God and confidence in His provision for you, believe that you’ll receive what you ask for through prayer and supplication in Jesus. Jesus said EXACTLY that- Mark 11:24. The question is always the same: who’s giving you what you ask for?

And if the universe is god then that means everything inside of the universe is essentially god including you. So who created the universe if god is the universe ? It is obvious that you didn't understand what a big role Lucifer is playing in the old testament and how he corrupts everything God has created. You may think God burns up cities because the people drunk alcohol, had sex and didn't believe at him but you miss to understand what exactly these people actually did. They offered their kids to Baal, they sacrificed other humans, they slept with fallen angels and corrupted the human DNA and they had so many chances to repent but didn't. I call the God of old testament a righteous and justice God. Only through his love for the human race he didn't erased the whole humanity. I dabbled slightly into that when my college played the video in one of my classes! They didn't even say it was spiritual. I believed in Jesus when I watched it. It had me thinking I was supposed to take a certain career path and yes it actually WORKED. I envisioned myself being valedictorian of my class, which I was. But the degree I got was NOT my calling and I actually never graduated because I never did my externship. God had a TOTALLY different plan for me! The career he planned for me is so much better than what I went to school for. His plan for my life would NEVER have manifested if I was to continue down the Law of Attraction path. Trust GOD because he knows what is best for you. He will give you everything you need.
Law of attraction & manifestation sent me on a downward spiral. I was told I could “manifest my ex”, so heartbroken, I started trying so do that. She never contacted me, or came back whatsoever. I was told to keep persisting, and I wasn’t believing enough, or I was too attached, etc. I got severely depressed, miserable, sad, had constant obsessive thoughts of her, and why she didn’t come back. I was being tormented!! God woke me up!! I realized God didn’t want us together for a reason & it was for my best interest! Be careful, this is dangerous!

i remember some of the online psychics i would see would promote the same thing . i believed they had all the answers, and spent a ridiculous amount of money thinking they would help me. that did nothing but make me eventually become exiled by my family and to a life on the street ( at that time is when i really started hearing about Jesus).never understood why until one day i read Leviticus 20:6. then the Lord Jesus brought me out of it and gave me understanding :) !!! thank you for your video !!!
I can SO RELATE. I spent about 20-30K over the course of 4 years chasing a "twin flame" relationship because I sought out a psychic who deceived me in many ways and had me entrenched in this demonically orchestrated obsessive connection. Because of this twin flame falsehood I only went further into New Age beliefs and practices: LOA, Transcendental Meditation, Lucid Dreaming, Tarot Cards, etc. Well, the money was wasted and I'm at the point where I don't feel remorse over that, but just GRATEFUL Jesus revealed himself to me and showed me what I was doing was wrong. After I turned to Christ everything changed. God plucked me out of darkness I was in and didn't even know was darkness. Amen we both left that crap behind.
i agree. i pray only to Jesus. and through the Holy Spirit. if i want or need something from my father. i ask him and leave it with him. sometimes writing the prayer request and putting it in a section of the bible i used to pray .. to ask him to help... ... and yes thanking him in advance for taking the ... problem .. from me. and i try to completely stop working on the problem myself. and he answers. always. i dont have to ask for money... father always provided us with food and shelter.. it was usually something i needed for my 6 kids. I turned to Jesus too in the end. Law of attraction really messed up much of my life. Problem with law of attraction is that it teaches you that you can have anything you want. In truth I believe prayers are answered but only if they are in accordance with God's will

Years ago when The Secret book came out, I went into a book store and felt compelled to pick up that book, it was like staring me in the face on this massive display and I had no idea what it was about (I was atheist at the time). When I picked it up, I get an electric bolt through me and received this overwhelming feeling of pure panic, that this ""thing"" was dangerous as Hell. (It was a warning from the Holy Spirit I now believe.) I put it down, never went there again but when I saw this wonderful video it all came back to me. God works in mysterious ways. God bless 💙🙏🏾📿

thank you so much for making this video. People are being made fool everyday without them even knowing about it. I too practised the LOA for almost 2 years and I was completely broken when my desires weren't fulfilled. Don't trust the LOA but believe in the power of your subconscious mind.
This Law will slowly destroy you and cause you to convince yourself that it will work one day until you fall deeper into it's clutches and the moment you want to pull out, your flesh would be so deep into it, it will be hard to leave. your thoughts will continually revolve around it even though you know it's false eventually believing in the lie and it's very difficult to escape because some of those lies remain within you even when you've accepted Jesus but the holy spirit will expose them in time.

I couldn't agree more. I still have a ways to go, I grew up catholic... so never in bible, believed in God & Jesus, but made up my own kinda religion that made dabbling in occult okay. I was deeply into mediumship, the secret, huge into the paranormal. God literally spoke to me when I cried out to him. He is real, & the one truth!! I remember maybe 10 or more years ago, Oprah Winfrey introduced "The Secret" DVD to her audience. I don't think she knew then what was behind it or what it would lead to, but could be how the door was opened to deception in her life. Thank you for exposing this.

I totally forgot about the secret. When I first saw the movie begin I was saved, it really hooked me in. It sounded so amazing and positive, but it was very self-absorbed. Instead of God as the first cause and creator of all things, the secret uses the universe and that the universe is design to be able to give you what you are attracting. For me I wasn't fully into it but in my mind thought it couldn't hurt to try. I think that's what gets alot to try it out. I think most new age religions get people that way. "What could it harm to see or try it out?"
There is no such thing as "law of attraction", because you can't attract anything, but yes, your thoughts create reality, whether you like it and agree with it or not. This is how nature of this reality works and this is how God created it. What you focus your thoughts on , you will experience in the future, the feeling you have now, you will experience in the future. "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he" (heart, soul and mind are the same thing in original scriptures). The truth teaching of so called Law of attraction is actually " having faith", and it explains how "faith" works to create changes in physical world, God was so good, that he gave us this tool and the Bible is a manual about living by faith "For we live by faith, not by sight". Obviously you can have "faith" for things that are good for us and godly or for things that are bad for us, harmfull and demonic, and you can create both in your future. You discern what you should have faith in by reading the Bible and being close to God. Why would God have told us in the scrioture this "Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsover things are of good report ... think on these things." Philippians 4:8”? "By having faith in different things we create our entire life, thanks to having faith in the word of God we can for example heal ourselves and others , God can't heal us if we have doubt instead of faith (There were numerous examples in the Bible, in one case even Jesus couldn't heal some people, because they have doubt and no faith, another case from the Bible: a woman who was healed, because she beleived that only by touching Jesus's dress she would be healed; Jesus said to her, that her faith healed her, without him knowing she touched him). The Holy Ghost's trigger to work is when people expect Him to do so, there are numerous examples of how faith works in the Bible, everyone who reads Bible knows it, I could post here a lot of quotes, but I will leave only one "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith works for EVERYTHING, for material stuff too, if you were shallow person to only care about material stuff it means you didn't have your eyes on God in the first place and you must have felt a void inside of you (consciously or inconsciously), so no wonder why you got lost and deceived by devil. If you put God first you are more likely to have peace in your heart and joy and the material stuff are no longer as important to you, but you can still have what you need or desire, but these things are not your idols and they don't change your relathonship with God, "For the pagans strive after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. " To summarize so called "law of attraction (having faith in something and then seeing the result of it)" is not new age nor demonic, it's how nature of this world works and always worked. It explains how everyday, all the time each human being creates his own life, no matter if he is chistian or atheist or into new age.

Later, I was introduced to this knowledge and its opposers who claim that there should be no intentions at all, only complete surrender. It doesn't work that way. God needs to know what we think about him including the nature of our intentions and feel worthy of his guidance and refuge by acknowledging deep down its existence. For a bit I doubted, but now I grew clear. Those who worshipped material needs, worshipped the devil. Those who asked for God's abundance worshipped him, and had faith, worshipped God The Almighty.

Wow! I was very little (12 years old) when somebody told me to read "the secret". At first I didn't really think anything of it but when I really started to read it everyday, I felt something very bad. I heard a voice that said stop reading this book because it goes against the will of Jesus. And I wasn't even a real christian, my parents raised me with the fact that Jesus existed but I never had a relationship with Him. Because of that voice I stopped reading the secret and Halleluja that was a good choice. Now I have a relationship with Jesus and I see that this book was deceptive and full of lies! Some lines of this book were taken from the Bible and turned into lies. That's what the devil does, he twists the truth! Now I also know that the voice that I warned me was from the Holy Spirit. I really warn you about this book, it changes your mind. Changing your mind isn't bad but the way this book does it is wrong and very dangerous. "The secret" makes you think that you are god but you're definitely not! God made the heavens and the earth and He is the only true God. "The secret" makes you full of pride and pride is one of the most dangerous things in life because you think you are higher than God. Thinking you are higher than God is the most dangerous thought you can have, we need to fear the Lord! Don't read "the secret" rather read the Bible because that's the truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I have been starting to follow laws of attraction, meditating, but as a believer, they had no direction, the good thing is that I just wanted peace, to be freed from ocd, but I was getting lost, overwhelmed with more thouts, drawn away from God, but as I asked God for guidance in the little tym I had started giving Him, I searched Godly meditation en landed on related post, but from yesterday am on truck feeling more better, I just woke up en listened to my Godly word en am here feeling Better

I kinda got sucked into this because I really wanted something. The scary thing is it’s such a gateway. I very quickly got sucked into spells, and even got introduced to Hinduism. Like the enemy can’t make you become a Hindu or witch. So he creates this gateway to deceive you into going there.

A friend whom her husband’s aunt has a Christian church... once told her that if she wanted something to write it down and place it within the Bible. All she asks for Jesus would answer for her... I don’t know if this is the same but it’s strange that they tell her this and now it’s evil...

I am saved, almost 40, been a Christian most my life. But I've been going through a lot of depression lately, and I've noticed on line the big trend on self love self care all having to do with the law of attraction. I was just curious about it and thought what could be the harm in learning more about it? The law of attraction is simply, if you think positive, your reality will become positive. This is true to its core because those who have negative thoughts interpret the world negatively and vice verse. Nothing more to it, nothing less. Nothing to do with spirituality or "demonic powers." If you were to interpret it spiritually, the explanation is that the world is really energy which is vibrating, which we call "matter" which is pretty much everything we see. Our brain and senses developed to experience our own version of reality, such as a snail's reality is different from ours, or an Owl whose night is their day, and their day is our night. Reality is perspective-based. Jesus taught much more than what's in the bible, do your own research. He called us all sons of gods, he also taught that love conquers fear, and that through love, you can conquer the world. Also that if you believe and ask from your heart, you will naturally receive, as gifted by the Father and guided by the Holy Spirit.
Sons of gods? Or sons of God? Two very different things there...I believe the main problem with the new age is that you are creating an idol of yourself. The bible is very clear to warn us about not worshipping the creation but to worship the Creator. Asking the “Universe” for things or believing that you have the power to brings things to your life simply by thinking them is very different than saying a prayer to God in hopes of receiving something while recognizing that it must be according to His will. What happens if you don’t get what you want? Do you blaspheme or reject God? That’s when we see the intention of our hearts.

I consider myself wise and aligned with The Lord and where this world is obviously heading right now spiritually & politically and I nearly drew up a list of ‘believe & receive’ items I thought would steer my life to better times, manifesting and expecting specific things, I didn’t really start this but tried to lift my day with happy statements, visualisation and affirmations to ‘program my mind’ so I’m glad I’ve stumbled on these testimonies, what I need to do is keep ‘affirming’ I am a child of God, his plan and will for my growth and taking in psalms and proverbs to give me peace .. Thanks for the information. I always thought that the law of attraction was "if you look for the good in things you'll see it, and if you look for the bad in things you'll see it." Admittedly, I've never looked into it as my concept of it was common sense.
Well, I think if the loa is taken way too seriously, implemented in the wrong way. If what you ask is way too much then yes, might be dangerous but the point is depends how is used. I think the trick is to understand it, forget and never think about it anymore because they wont happen when you trying to do in a forced way and on purpose. They happen when you dont think about it but inside feel that desire. Then eventually will happen after months or years. Me, since little i was on thinking things i wanted to have and do as a normal kid and they were coming to reality after some time. I had no clue about this loa but it come naturally. Years later, I heard about it and connected the dots. The way I used and still use is simply to think what i like or do. No big stuff, luxury homes or cars, no. Just smaller things to do or improve myself....and those things just run in the back on my mind only few minutes a day naturally without thinking is the loa and must work. Then I forget and few days/months later they come into reality only when im in a stage that if it comes is good, if it doesn't is still good. Then when I don't care anymore because i think i have it, it comes out of nowhere. The way "the secret" or "LOA" is presented is way to good to be true and very strange that something like that was easily on the media knowing it is controlled no for good things. Think about it. That, I think is twisted driving people to some form of misery but if is used the right way and for modest stuff then I think is good. Is not about being god but about being able to enjoy what god gave us in this world and Im not talking about huge amount of money or power....just seeing the world and cultures, being able to help someone in real need...to do that some money are needed so if used right then the right amount of money will come. If you think you want to win the mega 100M jackpot to buy jets, luxury mansions and car to show off, then that's a recipe for disaster and disappointment. Now im in a stage where I get kind of bored to use it just because it ends up working almost all the times and i don't see the excitement anymore. That's the only side that turn me a bit off but other than then is not that evil and I think has nothing to do with being god (at least for my case). For example, someone want to lose weight? Then there is something you can repeat daily for a while then leave it. Will come a day where you see the opportunity to get in a sort of diet that will make you achieve that. Another example... you want to have a particular career? Then see yourself doing that saying to yourself some things that give you motivation. After a while you will find yourself interested in something that will lead you to study something or simply go somewhere and/or meet someone that will help you in achieving that. The fact that you repeat in your mind what you want few minutes a day, makes it reach it in a very effortlessly way and once there, you can you put 15 hours a day thinking you are just playing or going on like a normal day. Actually there is nothing magic. You are just putting the hard work down without realizing it. Then is normal that things eventually will come soon or later. There is no universe, magic, demons and so on, unless used in the wrong way. But if you were greedy and wanted to get more the easy way without looking at the right way to do it, then you see it comes useful. Look at it from the scientific point of view and try to put others first or next to you when trying to achieve something. Then you see how thing look in a different way. Now for some reasons sometimes i feel a desire to become a millionaire ONLY to visit sick people unable to pay for expensive surgery and secretly pay for it and leave without letting anyone know except the doctor (who must maintain the secret). I'm over 40 and when I grow up, I want to become a secret angel.
Sooo can any Christian explain something to me real quick...I've noticed myself attract a lot of positive things since I started focusing on positive thinking and just being grateful...I was doing this through therapy from ptsd.. And then I heard about the new age people talking about the law of attraction but I never agreed with the new age people because they claim to be god and I DESPISED that. Anyways here I am now with a great career...got a loan on my first home...and you guys are making me think that just merely being positive attracts demons in the form of blessings and I'm just so dang confused! Am I supposed to be negative!? Are these blessings a curse? I'm just going to have faith that god is in control and I'm always protected.. I think there is something to changing your mindset...However I think people's greed and hunger for success is what makes them susceptible to falling for demons... If you are only praying to God then you are good. This practice has roots in good things but only gets twisted if you start praying to 'the universe', using crystals, statues, playing with taro cards and sigils. As long as you avoid these things and pray to God then its all good.

I've been rebuking it and Jesus name and I still can't escape it...any time I look at the clock...pick up my phone...there's the number...when I'm praying...theres the number...I found a Baptist church and went today for the first time since before the "plague" and I'm sitting there thinking to myself "haha that damn number can't follow me in here!" God is good and he's lead me to a church of born again believers I spend time in fellowship but yes when I step into the world and work it's very hard to see how closed off people are to the gospel but when they are receptive it's a great blessing. It takes a lot of courage for sharing your personal life stories and thank you for that. The more knowledge that people release about new age things especially the law of attraction the more people will be aware and have facts in front of them in some way shape or form. It all comes down to that persons heart on what feels right on what to believe and it’s no coincidence that many people are becoming aware of it all thanks to Jesus Christ and the lord his father. If not we would continue to be deceived. The law of attraction blinded me from not believing in the lord and his son Jesus Christ when a path is made, it focused only on me if as if I’m a god myself. Sadly I did not see that and was more in-tuned with strengthening the manifestation of things. When really I attracted other things.

The LOA is actually based upon several verses in the Bible, 3 of which come to my mind right now- Mark 11:24 nkjv ‘“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you *ask* when you pray, believe that you have received them and you will have them.”’ Matthew 7:7 ‘“Ask, and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”’ Romans 4:17b ‘..Who gives life to the dead and calls those things that do not exist as though they did.’ People that practice the new age just omit God the Creator and replace Him with “universe”, because they don’t want to answer to their conviction or give up their sin. I grew up in the church and got saved at a very very young age, I’ve always been discerning and I could immediately tell that this whole The Secret fad is not of the Holy Spirit or glorifying to Him at all. These tools we think will exentuate our connection with our Father only hinders it. Matthew 6:7-8 and when you pray, do not use vain repetition as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
I was Eastern Orthodox, but whenever I walked by Planned Parenthood in Boston and people praying the rosary out front, I felt peace hearing the Rosary. It's all straight from the Bible, chapter 1 of Luke, and the meditations on the life of Jesus, and the Our Father. It helps get me out of my own thoughts, and think of Jesus and Heaven instead, and how Mary didn't care anything about herself - only God. I used to have bad heart issues and whenever I said the Rosary it stabilized my heart. Meanwhile our culture of death promotes yoga instead.
Shamefully, I used to follow The secret when I was younger. It led me straight down a destructive path that led to a decade of severe depression and poverty. Get rid of all of that stuff.

I was really into Neville goddards teachings on the law of attraction. He gets all of his teachings on LOA from the Bible But he doesn’t teach the Bible from a Christian stand point. He taught the Bible wasn’t real figures and ppl who lived but the authors were trying to write of how we are God. The I Am in the Bible is us, our consciousness. Also the vine is our consciousness and the branches are our desires. The devil is our ego and doubt. Once we cling to Christ ( who he taught is our consciousness and imagination) then we are fulfilled and don’t have to doubt ( Satan) but believe and it will come to pass. Crazy stuff.
I’ve thrown out and destroyed all my new age books and tarot cards. I’m having a hard time with the crystals. I didn’t use them for witchcraft and many of them were gifts. If God made the stones then can I appreciate them as long as I don’t idolize them or think they have supernatural powers. Struggling to know clearly what God wants on this topic. I was heavy into the New Age for about two months I’m so glad God snatched me right back up after I turn from him since I had studied the Bible quite often before I realize a lot of the principles from the law of attraction were those of scripture and it just hit me basically it’s faith but the law of attraction is faith in yourself. I believe the law of attraction is very very true but God wants us to ask him for things from a place of love.

@Portia Michelle. The law of attraction is not biblical because a law has a tit for tat or quid pro quo aspect to it. God doesn't work like that because He operates by grace. A law would obligate God to respond in certain ways to an instance of obedience. God is obligated to NO ONE BUT HIMSELF. You need to renounce this false concept of God and His nature and His dealings. The Word of Faith movement unfortunately adopted a number of metaphysical concepts from the so-called "mind sciences" (i.e. Christian Science, Unity School of Christianity, etc.). People who espouse the WOF are very vulnerable to "The Secret" and other abominable New Age practices. Actually true. Through me practicing New Age beliefs back then, demons opressed my life. I went to an exorcist (yes, I am Catholic) and the exorcist did a deliverance on me. After 2 hours, I got tired just by sitting but a lot of what came in went out.

My brother introduced me to the secret when I was about 16 or 17...I can say that at first it seems harmless and true, but over time your mind will become very mixed up and may even cause anxiety because you feel that you have to keep your thoughts and emotions perfect all the time so that you receive good things. It really messed me up because every time I had a negative or grievous emotion, there would be tremendous amounts of condemnation on top of those feelings just for feeling them which led to much confusion, depression, emotional paralysis. I'm sure not everyone will experience this level of problems but nonetheless, it's very dangerous to the mind because the philosophy itself is pretty much based on fantasy and using your mind in a way that defies reality. Yes focus and mental preparedness are useful in this life, but the law of attraction is something else that can really skew your perception of what is real.

I think it's important to acknowledge painful thoughts and feelings if they are there, do not deny them no matter what society says about staying positive...in this life...that is never going to happen. Denying reality, including the reality of pain and real challenges and obstacles in life will never lead to positivity ultimately. For me, keeping track of my own mental b.s. helps me be more grounded where I need to be. There is nothing wrong with having hope and using our imagination and creativity for good, but the problem with the Secret and other New Age stuff is that it gets people stuck in their heads, not living in reality, not seeing reality around them, and making them self centered. That's another thing that helps too is taking time to think outside yourself, think about others, do something for someone else.
Are you all good now though ? I’ve been feeling detached and completely self stuck in my head . I’m trying to get rid of everything that has to do with Loa now. I stopped about 3 weeks ago but I can tell you my mind feels very foggy and I’m always in my head now . I feel like I’m emotionally numb . It is obvious that you didn't understand what a big role Lucifer is playing in the old testament and how he corrupts everything God has created. I dabbled slightly into that when my college played the video in one of my classes! They didn't even say it was spiritual. I believed in Jesus when I watched it. It had me thinking I was supposed to take a certain career path and yes it actually WORKED. I envisioned myself being valedictorian of my class, which I was. But the degree I got was NOT my calling and I actually never graduated because I never did my externship. God had a TOTALLY different plan for me! The career he planned for me is so much better than what I went to school for. His plan for my life would NEVER have manifested if I was to continue down the Law of Attraction path. Trust GOD because he knows what is best for you. He will give you everything you need.

Law of attraction & manifestation sent me on a downward spiral. I was told I could “manifest my ex”, so heartbroken, I started trying so do that. She never contacted me, or came back whatsoever. I was told to keep persisting, and I wasn’t believing enough, or I was too attached, etc. I got severely depressed, miserable, sad, had constant obsessive thoughts of her, and why she didn’t come back. I was being tormented!!

I spent about 20-30K over the course of 4 years chasing a "twin flame" relationship because I sought out a psychic who deceived me in many ways and had me entrenched in this demonically orchestrated obsessive connection. Because of this twin flame falsehood I only went further into New Age beliefs and practices: LOA, Transcendental Meditation, Lucid Dreaming, Tarot Cards, etc. Well, the money was wasted and I'm at the point where I don't feel remorse over that, but just GRATEFUL Jesus revealed himself to me and showed me what I was doing was wrong. After I turned to Christ everything changed. God plucked me out of darkness I was in and didn't even know was darkness. Amen we both left that crap behind.
i agree. i pray only to Jesus. and through the Holy Spirit. if i want or need something from my father. i ask him and leave it with him. sometimes writing the prayer request and putting it in a section of the bible i used to pray .. to ask him to help... ... and yes thanking him in advance for taking the ... problem .. from me. and i try to completely stop working on the problem myself. and he answers. always. i dont have to ask for money... father always provided us with food and shelter.. it was usually something i needed for my 6 kids. Years ago when The Secret book came out, I went into a book store and felt compelled to pick up that book, it was like staring me in the face on this massive display and I had no idea what it was about (I was atheist at the time). When I picked it up, I get an electric bolt through me and received this overwhelming feeling of pure panic, that this ""thing"" was dangerous as Hell. (It was a warning from the Holy Spirit I now believe.) I put it down, never went there again but when I saw this wonderful video it all came back to me. God works in mysterious ways. God bless 💙🙏🏾📿

This Law will slowly destroy you and cause you to convince yourself that it will work one day until you fall deeper into it's clutches and the moment you want to pull out, your flesh would be so deep into it, it will be hard to leave. your thoughts will continually revolve around it even though you know it's false eventually believing in the lie and it's very difficult to escape because some of those lies remain within you even when you've accepted Jesus but the holy spirit will expose them in time.

I totally forgot about the secret. When I first saw the movie begin I was saved, it really hooked me in. It sounded so amazing and positive, but it was very self-absorbed. Instead of God as the first cause and creator of all things, the secret uses the universe and that the universe is design to be able to give you what you are attracting. For me I wasn't fully into it but in my mind thought it couldn't hurt to try. I think that's what gets alot to try it out. I think most new age religions get people that way. "What could it harm to see or try it out?"
There is no such thing as "law of attraction", because you can't attract anything, but yes, your thoughts create reality, whether you like it and agree with it or not. This is how nature of this reality works and this is how God created it. What you focus your thoughts on , you will experience in the future, the feeling you have now, you will experience in the future. "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he" (heart, soul and mind are the same thing in original scriptures). The truth teaching of so called Law of attraction is actually " having faith", and it explains how "faith" works to create changes in physical world, God was so good, that he gave us this tool and the Bible is a manual about living by faith "For we live by faith, not by sight". Obviously you can have "faith" for things that are good for us and godly or for things that are bad for us, harmfull and demonic, and you can create both in your future. You discern what you should have faith in by reading the Bible and being close to God. Why would God have told us in the scrioture this "Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsover things are of good report ... think on these things." Philippians 4:8”? "By having faith in different things we create our entire life, thanks to having faith in the word of God we can for example heal ourselves and others , God can't heal us if we have doubt instead of faith (There were numerous examples in the Bible, in one case even Jesus couldn't heal some people, because they have doubt and no faith, another case from the Bible: a woman who was healed, because she beleived that only by touching Jesus's dress she would be healed; Jesus said to her, that her faith healed her, without him knowing she touched him). The Holy Ghost's trigger to work is when people expect Him to do so, there are numerous examples of how faith works in the Bible, everyone who reads Bible knows it, I could post here a lot of quotes, but I will leave only one "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith works for EVERYTHING, for material stuff too, if you were shallow person to only care about material stuff it means you didn't have your eyes on God in the first place and you must have felt a void inside of you (consciously or inconsciously), so no wonder why you got lost and deceived by devil. If you put God first you are more likely to have peace in your heart and joy and the material stuff are no longer as important to you, but you can still have what you need or desire, but these things are not your idols and they don't change your relathonship with God, "For the pagans strive after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. "
To summarize so called "law of attraction (having faith in something and then seeing the result of it)" is not new age nor demonic, it's how nature of this world works and always worked. It explains how everyday, all the time each human being creates his own life, no matter if he is chistian or atheist or into new age.

Thank you. I unknowingly had faith in myself all my life and it brought results. Later, I was introduced to this knowledge and its opposers who claim that there should be no intentions at all, only complete surrender. It doesn't work that way. God needs to know what we think about him including the nature of our intentions and feel worthy of his guidance and refuge by acknowledging deep down its existence.

Wow! I was very little (12 years old) when somebody told me to read "the secret". At first I didn't really think anything of it but when I really started to read it everyday, I felt something very bad. I heard a voice that said stop reading this book because it goes against the will of Jesus. And I wasn't even a real christian, my parents raised me with the fact that Jesus existed but I never had a relationship with Him. Because of that voice I stopped reading the secret and Halleluja that was a good choice. Now I have a relationship with Jesus and I see that this book was deceptive and full of lies! Some lines of this book were taken from the Bible and turned into lies. That's what the devil does, he twists the truth! Now I also know that the voice that I warned me was from the Holy Spirit.
I really warn you about this book, it changes your mind. Changing your mind isn't bad but the way this book does it is wrong and very dangerous. "The secret" makes you think that you are god but you're definitely not! God made the heavens and the earth and He is the only true God. "The secret" makes you full of pride and pride is one of the most dangerous things in life because you think you are higher than God. Thinking you are higher than God is the most dangerous thought you can have, we need to fear the Lord!
Don't read "the secret" rather read the Bible because that's the truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I have been starting to follow laws of attraction, meditating, but as a believer, they had no direction, the good thing is that I just wanted peace, to be freed from ocd, but I was getting lost, overwhelmed with more thouts, drawn away from God, but as I asked God for guidance in the little tym I had started giving Him, I searched Godly meditation en landed on related post, but from yesterday am on truck feeling more better, I just woke up en listened to my Godly word en am here feeling Better

God will give you what you need and bless your life, but to become obsessed with "manifesting" is a false desire of the heart for riches over godliness and those who practice it, even Christians will be denied entry to the kingdom of heaven. You guys, I was all into this before I read the Bible. I started going to churches with friends and family. Could tell they weren't the best. I asked God for the truth. Did research. The Catholic Church is The Church founded by Jesus . I've been Catholic now for about 24 years. So happy! We have the body and blood of Christ!

what a journey you seem to have had. It's amazing how clearly you see things once you align with Christ and the truth.
The law of attraction is simply, if you think positive, your reality will become positive. This is true to its core because those who have negative thoughts interpret the world negatively and vice verse. Nothing more to it, nothing less. Nothing to do with spirituality or "demonic powers." If you were to interpret it spiritually, the explanation is that the world is really energy which is vibrating, which we call "matter" which is pretty much everything we see. Our brain and senses developed to experience our own version of reality, such as a snail's reality is different from ours, or an Owl whose night is their day, and their day is our night. Reality is perspective-based. Jesus taught much more than what's in the bible, do your own research. He called us all sons of gods, he also taught that love conquers fear, and that through love, you can conquer the world. Also that if you believe and ask from your heart, you will naturally receive, as gifted by the Father and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Sons of gods? Or sons of God? Two very different things there...I believe the main problem with the new age is that you are creating an idol of yourself. The bible is very clear to warn us about not worshipping the creation but to worship the Creator. Asking the “Universe” for things or believing that you have the power to brings things to your life simply by thinking them is very different than saying a prayer to God in hopes of receiving something while recognizing that it must be according to His will. What happens if you don’t get what you want? Do you blaspheme or reject God? That’s when we see the intention of our hearts.

I consider myself wise and aligned with The Lord and where this world is obviously heading right now spiritually & politically and I nearly drew up a list of ‘believe & receive’ items I thought would steer my life to better times, manifesting and expecting specific things, I didn’t really start this but tried to lift my day with happy statements, visualisation and affirmations to ‘program my mind’ so I’m glad I’ve stumbled on these testimonies, what I need to do is keep ‘affirming’ I am a child of God, his plan and will for my growth and taking in psalms and proverbs to give me peace .. I’ve been blessed with creative skills and labour for a nice wage so going to cancel out any ‘wishing’ for success as I already have it and am thankful for my life whatever position I am in ‘through Him’

During my backslidden years I was almost sucked into this! God was still there with me somewhere! Because I stopped and "thunked" 😅 I realised it was wrong because it was all about self - what you can get for YOURSELF by SELF through various techniques. God was taken out of the equation.
I'm a Christian and I did it. I'm spirit filled, casting out demons, performing miracles and everything! I haven't experienced anything negative at all-- AND IT WORKED!

Thanks for the information. I always thought that the law of attraction was "if you look for the good in things you'll see it, and if you look for the bad in things you'll see it." Admittedly, I've never looked into it as my concept of it was common sense.

Well, I think if the loa is taken way too seriously, implemented in the wrong way. If what you ask is way too much then yes, might be dangerous but the point is depends how is used. I think the trick is to understand it, forget and never think about it anymore because they wont happen when you trying to do in a forced way and on purpose. They happen when you dont think about it but inside feel that desire. Then eventually will happen after months or years. Me, since little i was on thinking things i wanted to have and do as a normal kid and they were coming to reality after some time. I had no clue about this loa but it come naturally. Years later, I heard about it and connected the dots. The way I used and still use is simply to think what i like or do. No big stuff, luxury homes or cars, no. Just smaller things to do or improve myself....and those things just run in the back on my mind only few minutes a day naturally without thinking is the loa and must work. Then I forget and few days/months later they come into reality only when im in a stage that if it comes is good, if it doesn't is still good. Then when I don't care anymore because i think i have it, it comes out of nowhere. The way "the secret" or "LOA" is presented is way to good to be true and very strange that something like that was easily on the media knowing it is controlled no for good things. Think about it. That, I think is twisted driving people to some form of misery but if is used the right way and for modest stuff then I think is good. Is not about being god but about being able to enjoy what god gave us in this world and Im not talking about huge amount of money or power....just seeing the world and cultures, being able to help someone in real need...to do that some money are needed so if used right then the right amount of money will come. If you think you want to win the mega 100M jackpot to buy jets, luxury mansions and car to show off, then that's a recipe for disaster and disappointment. Now im in a stage where I get kind of bored to use it just because it ends up working almost all the times and i don't see the excitement anymore. That's the only side that turn me a bit off but other than then is not that evil and I think has nothing to do with being god (at least for my case). For example, someone want to lose weight? Then there is something you can repeat daily for a while then leave it. Will come a day where you see the opportunity to get in a sort of diet that will make you achieve that. Another example... you want to have a particular career? Then see yourself doing that saying to yourself some things that give you motivation. After a while you will find yourself interested in something that will lead you to study something or simply go somewhere and/or meet someone that will help you in achieving that. The fact that you repeat in your mind what you want few minutes a day, makes it reach it in a very effortlessly way and once there, you can you put 15 hours a day thinking you are just playing or going on like a normal day. Actually there is nothing magic. You are just putting the hard work down without realizing it. Then is normal that things eventually will come soon or later. There is no universe, magic, demons and so on, unless used in the wrong way. But if you were greedy and wanted to get more the easy way without looking at the right way to do it, then you see it comes useful. Look at it from the scientific point of view and try to put others first or next to you when trying to achieve something. Then you see how thing look in a different way.
Now for some reasons sometimes i feel a desire to become a millionaire ONLY to visit sick people unable to pay for expensive surgery and secretly pay for it and leave without letting anyone know except the doctor (who must maintain the secret). I'm over 40 and when I grow up, I want to become a secret angel.
Sooo can any Christian explain something to me real quick...I've noticed myself attract a lot of positive things since I started focusing on positive thinking and just being grateful...I was doing this through therapy from ptsd.. And then I heard about the new age people talking about the law of attraction but I never agreed with the new age people because they claim to be god and I DESPISED that.
Anyways here I am now with a great career...got a loan on my first home...and you guys are making me think that just merely being positive attracts demons in the form of blessings and I'm just so dang confused! Am I supposed to be negative!? Are these blessings a curse? I'm just going to have faith that god is in control and I'm always protected..
I think there is something to changing your mindset...However I think people's greed and hunger for success is what makes them susceptible to falling for demons...

If you are only praying to God then you are good. This practice has roots in good things but only gets twisted if you start praying to 'the universe', using crystals, statues, playing with taro cards and sigils. As long as you avoid these things and pray to God then its all good.

I did get into crystals thinking "oh they bring good energy" but that was it...I never mediated with them or worshipped them or anything like that....but I did use sage but whenever I did I would say "in Jesus name I ask any thing in this house not of god to leave " I still have my crystals as decorations in my new house but I don't believe they bring any type of energy now just decorative...so I'm not sure if like my crystals are why I can't escape this number but what do you think? God made crystals...I don't understand. There's so much I don't understand. How can the devil follow me into church? Was merely using sage and believing crystals bring good energy enough to invite demons in? Why are these demons allowed to follow me into church if so? I have so many questions.

God is good and he's lead me to a church of born again believers I spend time in fellowship but yes when I step into the world and work it's very hard to see how closed off people are to the gospel but when they are receptive it's a great blessing. It takes a lot of courage for sharing your personal life stories and thank you for that. The more knowledge that people release about new age things especially the law of attraction the more people will be aware and have facts in front of them in some way shape or form. It all comes down to that persons heart on what feels right on what to believe and it’s no coincidence that many people are becoming aware of it all thanks to Jesus Christ and the lord his father. If not we would continue to be deceived. The law of attraction blinded me from not believing in the lord and his son Jesus Christ when a path is made, it focused only on me if as if I’m a god myself. Sadly I did not see that and was more in-tuned with strengthening the manifestation of things. When really I attracted other things.
So many Christians are into the law of attraction and doing enneagrams. It’s so concerning. I’ve seen many christian bloggers on Instagram using enneagrams. I have to unfollow many users. I don’t understand how so many people are falling into the trap of these things. Even my sister made a “vision” board a few days ago. Really grieved my spirit.

Julie Pie It's been weighing on my heart Julie to warn you against using rosary beads. Talk to Jesus and pray directly from your heart to Him. These tools we think will exentuate our connection with our Father only hinders it. Matthew 6:7-8 and when you pray, do not use vain repetition as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
I was Eastern Orthodox, but whenever I walked by Planned Parenthood in Boston and people praying the rosary out front, I felt peace hearing the Rosary. It's all straight from the Bible, chapter 1 of Luke, and the meditations on the life of Jesus, and the Our Father. It helps get me out of my own thoughts, and think of Jesus and Heaven instead, and how Mary didn't care anything about herself - only God. I used to have bad heart issues and whenever I said the Rosary it stabilized my heart. Meanwhile our culture of death promotes yoga instead.

Shamefully, I used to follow The secret when I was younger. It led me straight down a destructive path that led to a decade of severe depression and poverty. Get rid of all of that stuff.
Totally agreed. I'm just another victim to all these manifestation techniques. I have practising other methods as well. Please listen to my advice, DO NOT fall for any of them. Go straight to Jesus, He will guide you all the way. This has a huge impact to my life, it consumed my time and energy, my health went down stream and it keeps me away from God!!! My life is so misery that I neglected almost everything and had caused several health issues too. Thankfully God saved me by awaken me to the reality.

I was really into Neville goddards teachings on the law of attraction. He gets all of his teachings on LOA from the Bible But he doesn’t teach the Bible from a Christian stand point. He taught the Bible wasn’t real figures and ppl who lived but the authors were trying to write of how we are God. The I Am in the Bible is us, our consciousness. Also the vine is our consciousness and the branches are our desires. The devil is our ego and doubt. Once we cling to Christ ( who he taught is our consciousness and imagination) then we are fulfilled and don’t have to doubt ( Satan) but believe and it will come to pass. Crazy stuff.

I’ve thrown out and destroyed all my new age books and tarot cards. I’m having a hard time with the crystals. I didn’t use them for witchcraft and many of them were gifts. If God made the stones then can I appreciate them as long as I don’t idolize them or think they have supernatural powers. Struggling to know clearly what God wants on this topic.
