- Hey y'all💓 today's video is one you've been waiting for for a looong time and I'm finally posting it. It's a little different from what I normally post on my channel, but I really wanted to to bring awareness to what the law of attraction is truly rooted in and how deceiving it can be. In this video, I go into what the law of attraction and new age movement is as well as my own personal experience and why I no longer practice it. Please don't take this video the wrong way! I'm a bit nervous to post because I know this topic is a bit controversial, but I felt called to talk about the truth. Love you all and I hope you enjoy :)

I also know that not everyone shares my beliefs, and not everyone is a Christian, but please know that there is no judgement in my heart! A lot of us have different beliefs and that’s ok, but I wanted to share my perspective and how it connects to my own faith. I believe the Bible is the word of God and should be taken seriously. Honestly, we all get that, your radiate really kind energy but next time be more careful with the terms "from the enemy" and "from the Devil" and etc, but it KINDA sounds rude and lowkey feels like an attack to non-Christians. She’s showing her experience with law of attraction but the truth is it’s deceiving and it’s not from God, it’s huge lie from the enemy and God wants us to have wisdom and discernment
No matter if your Christian or not , not to be rude but I'm trying to protect many people from that LOA is horrifying! I'm down for living the dream life☺ but I don't support a way where it could get out of control and it makes you selfish! I have a couple of friends who used to do LOA but after a while it ruined their lives 😞 why? Because it makes you think your your own god and that's not okay. Also they couldn't control everything and it got to out of hand . For a while it made them depressed until they found Jesus.

I’ve been praying every day since February and that has done more for me and helps me more than law of attraction ever could. People need to start praying more. God will guide you to what he wants for you. 🙏🏻✝️
God helps us definitely but he doesn't make us want something. its free will and at the end of the day its up to us to decide how we live our lives and how we should fit God into it. for instance, suppose i wanna be a rapper or something. God won't try to force being a middle school teacher on me if he knows im gonna be depressed doing that shit

We shall live life in abundance, Jesus said. I dropped Christianity and decided to follow Jesus instead and in fact he was against the religion and the church. They have managed to manipulate what you in fact read in the Bible. If Jesus had his 12 disciples then why is there only 4 gospel books that we get to read. Who made that choice? The church! It’s a manipulation. Jesus was a mystic, he had oneness with God and so do we. God is in us and we have the power that he gave us to do these things. Jesus said to believe it is done and that’s it. Once I started asking myself these questions and paying attention to how Jesus lived, showing love and helping others, being thankful for everything and living a sinless life, I began to see the beauty in life. We become happy. He is with us at all times and around us in nature. He is energy/an intelligent force/spirit that is everywhere. Jesus knew that! We have the power in our minds to heal ourselves and create our reality. Our biggest enemy is our mind and that’s what we must control. We don’t play God, we leave it in his hands, believe he heard our prayers and stay happy waiting for it to come, that is faith my friend!

my least favorite adage
It seems good and bad. God didn’t ask us to love thy neighbor and hate their sin. He just asked us to love. Conviction from sin comes from the Holy Spirit. Making people aware that it’s a sin is okay but forcing them to change isn’t our job. We are simply supposed to love them.
I’m Christian and have never practiced the law of attraction cause I’m lazy af and it seems like it would take too much energy😂
Same thing for me , I just can't even get my self to read worldly affirmations but I can claim Bible based affirmations so easily.
Not as much energy as praying to God to make something happen or feeling lost when you don’t know how to fix something or know why things happen the way they do because ”God works in mysterious ways” bs lol

as a 15 year old girl, I've been sucked into LOA and manifestation for over a year now. there were clear warning signs but at first, i chose to ignore them. i also had a period of research to see if this was biblical, and i too was deceived with the Bible quotes being used to back the person's claim. after several months, i got this video recommended just today and im so glad i did. it may be hard for me to stop at first, but i'll fight through it, for Jesus

i think what you’re trying to convey is that you don’t want to intentionally serve the Ego..which results to the surrender to God.
yet, surrendering to God is still attracting that very thing..
wether u repel or embrace the law of attraction, the law is still at work.
it’s the only way our free will can have momentum to create the life our hearts desire. that’s why no one can runaway from it. its embedded in the fabric of creation.

When I saw this video in my recommended, I was confused. I didn’t know what the law of attraction was, new age, and didn’t completely understand the definition of manifestation. After watching this video, I reset my mind and am so grateful to be with God and Jesus as they guide me. Thank you for uploading this very inspiring video! God is within you and you are above all principalities. You are sitting next to the father, right by Jesus. You have power, he gave it to you! Thanks to Jesus we know about this. He said we will do far greater things than he did. It’s all thanks to him.
The first thing I do after waking up is say my prayers. I'm not always perfect at this, but to me it's a way of showing the God comes first and that I am excited to talk to Him and get to know Him. This also applies well when going to bed or during the day when difficult situations arise and you need guidance.
i think saying affirmations are fine... it’s like you’re saying it to a friend, it’s encouraging and it helps people. manifesting includes being grateful and content with your current situation and you can still thank God for everything and remain faithful.

Affirmations are not fine. When you do them with intention they are like magic tools. Affirmations are just thoughts but with intention to have a result they become sorcery
@habeshaa 815 if you write down your goals it's not law of attraction, it's just a reminder / motivational list. 90% of people does :) but if you start using techniques then it's loa and yes, it's demonic :/ (I used it to, don't worry I'm not a Christian crazy girl. but I stopped, fortunately.)

Jesus' words from the beginning would never contradict what He says today or in a million years to come. ask God and God will give you according to His riches in glory. He loves providing for His children and He always does it at the right time

I manifested a lot of money while doing LOA, but after that I've been dreaming dead people choking me and staring at me. I woke up catching my breath, scared and played a Christian song right away. My mother also got sick, she almost died. I stopped LOA since then. I knew some evil spirit gave me the money I manifested, not God.

They're confused upon their own beliefs and are not on the proper spiritual level to attain or even understand it. I really appreciated this video. I was recently very hurt by the "new age culture," feeling gaslit and manipulated by it for not being "healed" enough (I have a lot of trauma and PTSD), and letting it lead me into some delusional thought-spirals, and similar to your experience, feeling extremely anxious about my own thoughts "attracting" bad things to myself. So, even though I'm not particularly religious myself and we don't have identical perspectives, it's refreshing to see people rejecting this new "culture" and calling out how it can harm us without us even realising it. And since so many of the more popular new age believers will use the Bible and Christ to gain the trust of their Christian followers who are tempted by LOA and "manifestation," I think having religious Christian perspectives like yours to challenge it is very important ♡

Salaam sister Sophia. Just wanted to drop some appreciation to you for this video. There does not seem to be much content on TH-cam in any way addressing the New Age practices like manifesting from any religious perspective and/or looking critically at the practice. As your muslim brother a lot of what you said resonated with things I have observed, the idea of it being like a prayer to oneself or a prayer without God. I liked your emphasis on focusing on God’s will and surrendering to God, which is the definition of the word Islam. God bless! 😊
I’ve been slowly leaning back into my faith after a long pause of believing but not actively participating or practicing and this video was such a nice thing to hear. I feel like the points you made are something I’ve been subconsciously thinking for awhile but wasn’t sure if it was a personal thing or what. While I’m not sure I personally agree with everything you said I completely understand your argument and it’s nice to take your thoughts into consideration as I continue on!

I'm a Muslim and i agree with it. I've lived 2 years of my life in that shit but didn't know it was witchcraft.
I hope more religious people talk about that. Thank you so much! You were the one who made me realize it's witchcraft. I know the word in Arabic and know it's Haram but my silly mind never made the connection 😂 or perhaps i was so blinded by my desires that i stopped believing in my religion and started worshipping this or that method making it my idol. Note that my desires were against my religion and that was the first ever test i was put in from Allah. I was to choose between my religion and God (which I've had a strong connection to him and loved him so much) or my earthly desires by witchcraft. And poor me chose witchcraft over God. Still didn't get them and I also failed the test horribly but I was a teen back then, i was only 18 back then.
One thing to add to even make it worse, if my desired were permissible i would've gone 100% to God and prayed to make them mine through him. But at the first road cross i walked away from God. I think he did this to show that i wasn't a true believer as i thought i was. Thank you so much for your video, we're sisters in faith as we're both heavenly Abrahamic religions 🙏💞

So far as the bible is concerned mark 11:24. He declares things that are not as though they were and those things come to pass.
Islam is another religion completely founded by the devil. One of my best friends was a Muslim for 42 years. He found Jesus and is so very very free. Jesus loves you, died for you and overcame sin and death. He will set you free from all fear. The Bible is not twisted - it is verifiably truth. God sent his son Jesus to die as the ultimate sacrifice so that the consequences of man's sin (Adam and Eve) could be forgiven upon true repentance. If you want to experience God find you an Apostolic church tell them you aren't a believer but want to see if you can feel the presence of God because a convert (me) recommended You seek the nearest Apostolic church out. Join their Bible study it's the closest thing to what Jesus taught and the apostles. LOA I attracted a trip to the Bahamas 🇧🇸 and many other things but now I get way much more. 1 I got my true calling back from the enemy. I've said to much. Go do what I told you to do, you won't regret it.

When I heard that "manifestation" is on trend these days i honestly felt good about it (besides of course the things stated on the video that was not of the Bible). For me, I've been manifesting goodness through God's power and at hindsight I thought that other people's way of manifestation is just a way for them to discover God in their own lense. I'm glad that manifesting helps them find peace and brings joy to them day to day, but I hope that one day they will be able to accept that God is the name of the universe they cling to, and that He could provide them with so much more love and assurance than our own minds and intentions are able to grasp.
Plus law of attraction doesn't make you you enhanced, it makes you trust in the wrong thing.
This was right on time. I’ve been trying to grow closer to Jesus. Even manifesting it. Just yesterday I heard of Neville Godard yesterday and actually fell asleep last night listening to a meditation of his. I felt like “hmm maybe this is from God since it’s backed in scripture”. Then BOOM 💥 woke up and saw this. God always lead and directs. I’m so thankful for discernment and his guidance. God will always lead you where you’re meant to be. So very thankful for this video🤎

didn't really know much about the law of attraction before but appreciate this video for educating me on it and giving such a solid biblical perspective! i'm seeing so many things about affirmations nowadays that are very self-focused, and i just really appreciate your focusing on Christ. and i loved hearing your testimony and glad you have grown to see the truth more and are being bold in your faith :)
affirming is not self focused. we are creations of god and putting ourselves on a pedestal means we are honoring the fact that we are a reflection of him. we are honoring the fact that we have been created by god to do amazing things. we are honoring what god put so much of his time into creating.god gave us the ability to manifest for a reason, that's why he gave prayer. prayer is a form of manifestation.
Jesus never put himself on a pedestal.
This is deeply unbiblical. Jesus said to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him. The first will be last and the last will be first. You do not have a Godly understanding of yourself and how sinful you are if you think you are worthy of being put on a pedestal. The only reason we have ANY value is because of the imago dei and who we are in Christ if we are truly saved. Study the Bible.
There’s only one thing we can affirm boldly: that we are forgiven of our sins and have eternal life through Christ. Great video and testimony, Sophia! Been waiting for this video for quite some time and I’m definitely impressed by how much you’ve grown into your faith since last year!!
I didn’t know about the loa movement, but it’s insane how new age and most ungodly practices crawl into our lives like seemingly harmless things. We should be extra careful to not be deceived, like you said, and be rooted in God’s word

Well done, wise video. I’m 42 and I got very into the LOA scene for a few years at age 27, but found my way back to my loving father who is Lord of all and Lord of my life now. Every gift we have and every good thing is from him, all glory to him. 💗 Ask, believe, receive, through Jesus and he promises to answer us. 🙏🏼

My parents said this too the other day. And I'm more open to the fact that it's not good for my spiritual growth because we should only believe on Jesus. But when I was younger I used to believe to those things too. So I'm not putting hate on anyone. I totally respect your belief.
Jesus would happily approve the law of attraction in it's true nature. Not for greed and selfishness, which most believe it's about. It's the people pushing it and using it for those reasons that gives it a bad name.

I remember reading the book "The secret" with a pre-conception of how great this book is and I remember just how confused, disappointed and overwhelmed I felt with endless questions concerning things that didn't sit well with me or my religious beliefs. But I kept telling myself you didn't get the message right, there's no way all these people with your religious background are wholeheartedly preaching the same exact book and the concept of the law of attraction as a whole. It wasn't until I had a talk with my mama that I released why this confusion makes sense, it's because it doesn't go hand in hand with our religion. This is my first time of hearing about the man and his book. From the introduction I knew it was not from God even though it quoted Bible verses, then I skipped and read on and I saw more lies. Those scriptures quoted works if only a man sets his gaze upon the Lord Jesus Christ who died and gave himself for us. We celebrate him and he does it. We set our gaze on the Lord, we meditate on the Lord, we delight ourselves in him and he grants our hearts desires, actually when you you meditate on the Lord, forgetting your needs, not minding them our needs are met, he said first seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing will be added to us.

Your video is one of the best I’ve seen so far in the topic of from new age to Jesus. I only started researching yesterday. Like you use quotations, I like how you give alternatives or the truth in the LOA in a Godly way (like when you have a vision ask God) , you are logical and you just overall explained it so well!

ahh i needed to hear this!! I asked a question about the law of attraction and how the church views the practice at one of my discussions at my youth group last year, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get an answer from my youth minister due to lack of knowledge on loa. So so grateful for this because I've been having my doubts about loa for the past couple months. Thank you so much for clearing this up!
Coming from someone who used to watch videos like that, the very toxic law of attraction videos that pretty much scared me into believing that ‘if you don’t do x y or z this your not good enough for anything’ as well as the toxic self help/toxic social commentary TH-camrs I scared myself into believing for the longest time, this video was such an unbelievably great contrast to all of that horrible horrible negativity and fear mongering. I started connecting with a girl i met from a class and have been meeting all kinds of LOA and even see strong believering young adults from my past who are practicing LOA and it’s just refreshing to hear your story. I believe firmly that the rain falls on the just and the unjust and that God is in control regardless. I felt like you were my friend just talking to me about your experience and am encouraged in my heart to know that I’m not alone when the whole world seems to be sliding down this path all around me. This is so interesting to me and I really appreciate you sharing your story. It's interesting that your experience was "If something went wrong I felt like it was my fault" when practicing LOA because of your thoughts. For me, I've had those same anxieties but in relation to my prayer life. "Someone got hurt. Someone didn't heal. Nothing changed, so my faith must not be strong enough. I must not be praying hard enough. I must not believe enough." So same anxieties, but stemming from two different and (from your assertion here) opposing practices. For me, there is a super fine line between the magical and the miraculous. For example: tarot is inherently evil, even as a reflection practice - a certain card showing up at a specific time that causes me to reflect is bad. But when a specific song comes on the radio at "just the right time" it's God speaking. Or how grounding in crystals is inherently nonsensical but rosaries, prayer beads, and prayer blankets - mundane items imbued with some kind of power because of prayer - is from the Holy Spirit. I was raised Christian and I consider myself a Christ follower, but you said yourself that most people were using LOA for kindness, and some for bad. I think you can say the same of any practice. Scripture has been used to justify the slaughter and oppression of millions as well as free millions of others. In my experience, it's less about the practice itself and more about the person practicing it. But again, thank you for sharing your story! I'm on mine and I'm glad to have your perspective on this topic.

I didn't even think about the aspect that the law of attraction is all about you until you mentioned it. I think we are so self centered as people these days and we need more then ever to focus on service and charity and put others needs above our own desires and wants.
I disagree. God gives you the desires of your heart if you believe. God puts those desires in your heart. The desires that don’t come from him are those linked to making you feel bad
And who says we don't manifest for other people? I manifested things for my family that helped us, multiple times, and that was BEFORE I turned to God.
While I didn't before or now believe in the Law of Attraction, I believed in manifesting.
I suggest to not think of everyone who Manifests as selfish and thinking of themselves all the time.

I was honestly so confused at one point in my life. This happened the be the time that I was suffered a deep depression. Looking back I learned a lot of this law of attraction stuff in church. I was in so much condemnation because I felt I didn’t have enough faith and that’s why things weren’t happening in my life. Thank the Lord, I’ve been set free from that way thinking. But we must always be on guard as you mentioned. Thank you for this video. It is so valid.
Funny you say that you learned in church. One phrase I remember was, "Speak those things as though they were or Speak it, to hear it, to see it." The church leaders called it faith or MANIFESTING your faith. It NEVER worked for me and I never understood it. I actually thought it was weird and conjuring. I am glad I was okay with the Father just telling me no and building me up to help others. The "lack of manifestation" allowed me to cultivate a trusting relationship and despise religion.
Your video was the first New Age to Jesus Ive seen. It feels like I just opened my eyes for the first time. I hope I'll be forgiven for all Ive done. The stuff really isolated me with pride and left me literally being and feeling alone. Its crazy how relatable all you said is too. I have faith God will save me. I literally just asked God to tell me the truth about divination because I was a tarot reader but I was also a 27 yr long addict (drugs) and I got throat deep thrown into hell. My experience is very very similar to yours, and your video actually popped up on my youtube homepage but i decided to ignore it, just like sometimes we know the truth but choose to be blind, i was into loa and manifesting for a couple of months and started watching tarot videos, even tho it felt wrong, I started seeing SO many repeted numbers and synchronicities and decided to see what the bible had to say about the numbers, then i read about this New Age thing and i was horrified, I felt so guilty, then i looked for your video again. the "crazy" thing is, it's been a few day since i started to talk to God again and feel his presence, yesterday i prayed for him to help me see what I could not see and now I am here.

Oh God! I just saw your video. I have been practicing the LOA since 13 years old, and now I am 26! The first person who started opening my eyes, was a youtuber: James Jani. I have been in deep emotional depression those last days, trying to fight myself not to practice it anymore. Is ironic, how everything started from some selfhelp books, and ended with people teaching how to open your third eye, and trusting also tarot cards. There were times when I thought of talking to a psychologist honestly, but I decided to talk to god and ask help from him! Great to know I am not alone! Thank you for confirming it once again all my suspects about this new age!

Thank you. I have never been a fully devoted Christian, even most of my life. I had prayed or complained to God/Jesus. I have suffered years with physical health issues and and anxiety.
Last year I saw my mom died, and my older sister, just turned her back on me.
Lately I stumbled across Neville Goddard, and in the beginning it felt good and self empowering.
The more I good sucked in, the more anxious and disconnected I feel. Especially when I hear, that we can change the past, by do something called revision, some even claims, that it can bring our deceased loves ones back. Something like this freaking me out. Even I during the years, have lost all my closest relatives, except my son, and even I miss them, and I suffering a lot. Never ever do I want to change the outcome. It has shaped the man I am today, and with the empathy I also feel towards others. Still I hope Jesus Christ, to heal and ease my suffering and pain.
