I loved going to his concerts in the 80's! He was so genuine and always shared the gospel. The Lord really used him and now he is with Jesus. Well done, Mylon!
Jesus called this warrior home today. Mylon touched so many lives mine included. I look forward to the day when I can be in heaven with him praising our Lord together. You will be missed.
I rededicated my life to Jesus at a concert when I was 14, now 33yrs later I love and serve the Lord still. I hadn't heard or thought about this song in years, but my son just came home from Army training and this song came back to me. Hearing it now means so much more to me, it still brings me to tears, its powerful. Thank you
Like many others, I’m going over all the songs that touched so many of us years ago. As others have commented, Mylon came to our little church with his band, and inspired us to either surrender our hearts, or make a greater commitment to follow our Savior. Mylon was such a gift and continues to be one. Now he’s enjoying the fruit of his labor, as he’s rejoicing in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
I have told my Wife of over 30 years that I would like to have Mylon sing this at my funeral 🙏 Fat Chance, but a brother can dream. Started to follow Jesus Christ in July of 1979, and I discovered Mylon and BH when I lived at Palisade North in Atlanta, the boys will remember 🙏 Crazy windy road. Spent much time at The Mount listening to the Men get ready to take the world for Jesus Christ. I remember when my friend Mylon had a hard time forming word's, due to drugs. Been there and done that 😏 God's Divine Mercy is Beyond Understanding 🙏 Viva Cristo Rey 🙏
This is the exact song I thought of when I had learned that Mylon had passed away. I had always dreamed of singing with him one day, but we can still sing together in Heaven.
Mylon, as a young pastor of a small church in Athens, GA in the early 80's I made the trek to Atl to Mt. Paron COG to hear you play and minister in the Airborne youth ministry. It was inspiring and helped to develop God's gifts in my life. This song so many years later still moves me and allows me to truly see that God's grace is amazing and He has His hand on our lives.
I was there with you my friend. I used to see Mylon pushing the mop bucket at Mount Paron. Monday night shows 🤔 Tuesday Metro Bible Study with Rat Riley 🤔 Long time ago but I still love this Man and his songs of Victory ☝️🙏 Viva Cristo Rey 💪🙏 I was working in the hotel convention industry with Video Supply Company.
It’s a bit hard to listen to/watch this now that he’s gone home. Mylon’s battle is over now, and gone home to Jesus. I’m so happy for him, but it’s so hard for those of us he left behind, the fans like me and his family and friends. We love you, Mylon. Rock the heck out of heaven, and we’ll see you there someday.
Rest in the Power of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Savior and King forever! Thank you for your powerful ministry, brother Mylon. Comfort be multiplied to Christ and the rest of your family, in Jesus’ name. Enjoy your great reward!!! 👑🙌🏽🙏🏽🕊️🫶🏽
One of my absolute favourite Mylon and BH songs!!! Nearly 30 years later and this still reaches into my soul! Total blessing to see them do this live and also see my three children in the front row of the concert while I was helping backstage! I prayed then and still pray for them now that Jesus continues to be their Lord. Thank you deeply Mylon & BH for your Christ centred ministry.
ML helped me keep loving Jesus as I stumbled and bumbled through my teen years. Never underestimate what impact your message has on others - for the good or bad. Thank you ML for serving Jesus with your music!
still amazing after all these years-I've cried to this song a hundred times-God bless you brother-your concerts were Spirit filled and lives were changed for Jesus!
My brother passed away 4 days ago. We loved your music growing up & he took me to my first concert which was one of yours. I haven't listened to this music in probably 15 years but we played Crack the sky at his funeral today because he loved it. So many memories came flooding back & so I looked up all these old songs bc I used to love them & they reminded me of my brother. This song is do beautiful & tears are streaming down my face. God bless you
You were one of the first Christian bands I followed. I still have your CD's. I went to your concert during a time while I was searching and trying to figure things out...teenager. A few years later I earned a Masters degree in Divinity and became an ordained pastor. It's amazing how our days move along at God's pace and timing. I pray you are still blessed through His Word and Grace in all that you do. Doug-

I saw Mylon and Broken Heart back in the 1980s in Poughkeepsie, NY, not long after giving my heart to Jesus. The song The Warrior ministered to my spirit in ways that words can't describe. Even today it brings the tears and blesses my heart. Thank you Lord Jesus.
I was at this concert in 1983 as a baby girl!!! 💗💗 💗 Glory to God - Mylon, God worked through you to get me back home in 2015! God Bless You, Sir- Many rewards in the heavens for you, Sir! 🥰♥️🥰♥️🙌🏽
I looked all over for music I could relate to after I surrendered my life to Jesus in 1977. Finding Broken Heart was an answer to prayer. I am thankful for your ministry and the testimony of your life, with and without the Lord. A broken heart, drugs, and alcohol almost killed me...but Jesus heard my plea for help and reached WAY DOWN... and I came home. From 1983 to 2002 I took the Gospel on the road with music also; now I'm a pastor. God is so good! Thank you for sharing Jesus and yourself with us.
Dear Mylon… I grew up, listening to your music, shaped my life about 12 years ago. My wife contacted you and you agreed to talk to me over the phone because I was struggling. I turned down the phone conversation because my head just wasn’t right. I’m still struggling and I regret that I didn’t talk to you. I wish I could talk to you now. I know people say you can talk to God anytime and I’ve talk to him every minute of every day since I can remember and I’m 54 now it’s not that simple.
This clip captures the joy of Mylon's concerts as I remember them. When the crowd cheers right in the middle of the song as he says, "Christ has won . . ." it was and is so powerful and cheerful. Thanks for reminding us that those beautiful smiles I saw back then are not just a thing of the past . . . "Why don't you come on home?"

I have been a Christian rocker since I was 17. Im 55 now. First met Mylon during the "Sheep in Wolves Clothing" tour. We were opening for them at a college in Alabama. He was very distraught because he had been told we couldn't make any references to Jesus when we would talk between songs. I talked to him about how our records (just the songs) could minister to people. I said "The songs that God has given us, supported by His Spirit, and prayer will be more than enough. That's the true test of us doing our jobs well. The lyric and music are More (one of his songs) than enough." We sat there talking for a while, prayed and did the show. Afterward, around 100 college students met us at the BSU. Many were saved, others rededicated their lives, and a few just asked questions. It was a very special concert, and we were proud to have been a part of it. God bless & take it easy. JRH.(sorry I'm a terrible typist.)

I went to this concert in Greenville NC, and during the part of the concert, when brother You were preaching the gospel, i fell on my knees again in that auditorium, right there at my seat, and poured my heart out to the Lord, and begged His forgiveness again. then you sang "More", it hit me directly in the heart! that song will forever stand out in my soul, as the moment i came home, home to where i belonged. I am learning to play the piano part to "The Warrior", and will be singing it to my church, where i am the pastor very soon, as the song speaks to me very much, always has, but especially now, in my later years, with most of my days behind me. You have been a very strong influence on me for a very long time. God bless you, my brother!
Reading the comments I am weeping and thankful that Jesus was always there for me even when I had turned away for the world and its fleeting pleasures. I just rediscovered you the other night when you and your beautiful Christie were on PTL with Dwight. What a blessing! Just what I need right now. Bless your heart, and from mine, thank you.

Oh, yes sir. Been there, done that. The phone app is awesome! Thanks again, and God bless :)
One of my favorite songs. When I was about 11 or 12 my father took me to see you. It was my first Christian concert and I have never forgotten till this day. Great music and great ministry. Thank you for your ministry that you have now with your wife. My father and I hope to see you soon!
