The mystic takes on a unique appearance at each level, with the lizard level she becomes Gwen Stacy, in the ghost rider level a skeleton, and so on. In the open world, if you're on a helicopter carrier with S.H.I.E.L.D., she'll become an agent, and in the city a policeman.
Dude I swear lego marvel superheroes was actually peak man, you could immediately tell they tried to make us happy and satisfied and even had fun while doing it. The second game is another story
Fun Fact: Emma Frost originally didn't have a diamond form, it first appeared during Grant Morrison's New X-Men in the early 2000's because they couldn't use Colossus on the account of the Russian being dead. He got better.
Joss Whedon didnt care and brought him back. Thats why Astonishing X-Men rules as one of the best X-Men comics 🔥 You got the New X-Men team (minus Jean Grey) + Kitty Pryde + Colossus
The Boys gets this wrong. If someone's skin was very electrically conductive then the current would just go through the skin and not pass through the body because the skin is the path of least resistance. The reason we get injured from electricity as normal people is because we are just conductive enough for current to use but not conductive enough to have it pass through efficiently, so electrical energy turns into heat, light, and muscle movement (kinetic energy)
I recently got the game again for 5 bucks and when we find time me and my best friend gonna play it again, see if it stands the test of time. We used to play it every weekend after school when we were younger. Best times
Well since diamond is made of carbon, carbon being very conductive it makes sense she is vulnerable to electricity which is a mind-blowing detail... Why LMSH2 wasn't as cool as this 😢💔
@@lunarro7 “learn science” i have no reason to. why would the average person ever need to google or know if diamonds can conduct electricity? so they can prepare to get struck by lightning? “mind-blowing” is a bit exaggerative but they’re just excited about details in a game they like and you act like this is common knowledge when it is not lmao. you should learn how to be less pompous and condescending instead, science has clearly failed you in that regard.
Diamonds are made of carbon, carbon is a conductor of electricity, The Boys uses this same concept in one of the first episodes to incapacitate Translucent
Not to burst your bubble, but they probably didnt have to think about this. They probably just gave those beams the "beam" property and her ability allows her to deflect attacks with the "beam" property
Its amazing how few videogames do this on a large scale! There's a group of autistic gamers that go crazy for this, they're the "Immersive Sim" game enthusiasts.
This actually reminds me of some of the nice touches in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Human Torch is immune to fire, Ms.Marvel is immune to energy, Juggernaut is immune to knockdown.
Mainly because the energy beams are thick and less zigzag, the particles are more together, making it easier to deflect. Since the energy beams are closer to solid, the lightning would be harder to deflect due to how rapid and wild the direction could get
Lego Marvel Super Heroes is such a good game, I think one of the best if not the Best Lego game I've ever played...But the Second game, well we don't talk about that one.
Man I miss this game Would anyone else who had two controllers turn on the second one, and get into a car as the other character and then turn off that controller so it wouldn't be following you Or also throw thors hammer or Captain America's shield at the train and it would never return to you?
They put in so much effort into crafting Lego Marvel; they were cookin' real good with this game. I definitely think it's a top 5 superhero game. It truly is a gem.
I remember back when I didn't have a full understanding of Frost's powers, I thought her diamond form would make her invisible to cameras. So when my brother and I were trying to get through a security area we first tried using Black Widow's invisibility but for some reason it turned off when we got to a switch/console/I can't remember, so I tried using Frost and my brother said "she doesn't turn invisible, it's not gonna work" only for the camera lasers to bounce off of her. Well... it did work, just not in the way I expected.
It's not that they knew you would try it, they wanted you to try it. Emma forst can be used just like you would use cap's shield on missions that require you to deflect beams like that on the special platforms.
That’s awesome, and while it doesn’t make it any less cool, the developers probably set the rule that any entity with a reflective surface will reflect beams. Aren’t games cool? Most of them will utilize some sort of modular logic like this, but it’s especially sick when it’s done like this
It’s been a min since I played this. I remember saving up my money to get this game, me and my friends would stay up almost the whole night. Good times God bless y’all and stay hydrated out there.

you're Young af
if you just realized these types of details in lego games😂
Daredevil can throw his Baton into the shield switches, but if I'm remembering correctly Taskmaster, who actually has a shield, cannot
Eeeeeeeeeeee
The reason is comics and if i remember correctly in science diamonds don’t do well under electricity 0:44
Don't do well under fire either as diamond (and most if not all carbon) burns

LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 was good too. I personally like 1 more, but 2 was still great.
@@conman_yt7999yeah, 2 was so w istg
I didn't know there's a sequel. I've only ever played the first one.
@kalvin187douglas Well of course it's another story, they wouldn't make 2 different games with the same story 🙄
Despite a few MCU scraps in their it truly felt like a real marvel universe. Had everyone and everything.
Fun fact: In the comics, Emma uses her immunity to Scott's optic blasts in the bedroom because she likes to see his eyes when they're being intimate
What if instead of Emma Frost it was Emma freak
Hey that's one way to have safe sex while being a mutant
You remember which issue this was?
Nah bro 💀💀💀 @tuckerbowen4626
So they just destroy the whole room every time? bc his lasers should reflect everywhere.

Makes sense. Carbon is a strong conductor of electricity
Actually diamonds are good heat conductors but bad electrical conductors
literally 1 google search and someone can find out diamonds don't f******** conduct electric
like translucent

This ability also lets her use beam deflect pads!
Emma has always been one of, if not my favorite X-men. I was so happy to see her in the Lego Marvel game growing up.
Best part about this is you can have Cyclops aiming at her assets and it’ll deflect his laser right back at him

This is no doubt the best Lego game made I had so much fun playing this and unlocking the characters
Translucent also had a very durabpe skin, it was even bullet proof, but electricity was his weakness
To quote the boys “their skin is made out of a carbon meta material, highly conductive”

Once again, LEGO Marvel Superheroes proving how peak it is
The best part about this game’s roster was that no matter how minor a character was, they still had some sort of gimmick unique to them.
Props, for making this game somewhat relevent again.
Lego Marvel is so fun, those games are so detailed and so fun to mess around.

Diamonds are highly conductive, incredible detail
I remember getting 99% on the game, never found the missing 1%
I love how this guy makes content on every game possible
That last attack sounds like a Dalek's gun attack.
I'm glad kids of the younger generation have games like this to play. I'll always have X-Men legends as my game to look back on.
