This is a "Guaguanco" and not salsa...It's has an african dance that goes with it and it has nothing to do with the "Casino" danced in the 70s...You can't call Bell Peppers, a whole "Salsa" without the onions and tomato sauce...The term salsa was coined, because the other hispanics in New York could not tell the different rhythms of Cuban music apart... A Rumba, a Mambo, a ChaChaCha, a Guaracha, a Son Montuno were all thrown together into one word, to please those without the talent to tell them apart...Sorry if the truth hurts, but it doesn't change it one bit...

Rest In Peace beautiful lady we miss you, Azucar!!!!!
As my father used to say: “take any word or phrase, repeate it, put some good rhythm on it, and you’ll have a great Cuban song”
Lol. Yeah it's very trance like and very bright, it gets you in a zone.
The one and only. The Queen of Salsa music CELIA CRUZ. Thank you Andy. This made me happy.
Muy agradecido por los subtítulos en español!
Dear Andy... so great to see this your reaction! So proud! Mrs. Celia Cruz was, is and will be our best and unique voice within the Salsa realm of all times. True performer who gave us her gift of real happiness through Latin music. The leader of the band is Johnny Pacheco, the Puerto Rican raised in NY who was responsible to expose Salsa internationally. Thanks so much Andy!
Johnny Pacheco was Dominican.
The band leader shown in this video is none other than Johnny Pacheco who is also a flautist. He has played for the band which was the Fania All-Star consisted of musicians and singers of the Salsa music from the late 1960s to the late 1970s.
She gave performances like this full of life and she gave her life on the stage up until her 80s. We will never have another Celia Cruz and for that I am sad. Mexico loves her. Azúca!
I was very pleased that you addressed this very international issue of Celia.
Love this song and Celia Cruz!
Me dieron ganas de hasta bailar amigo! Excelente vídeo cómo siempre! 💯

One of the greatest Cuban music masterpieces... I love Celia Cruz, she IS one of the greatest Cuban artist.
Andy greetings from Poland. I love your reactions to latino music. Sigue así y llegarás muy lejos con tu canal. Toda Latinoamérica apenas descubre tu canal.
Celia Cruz was the greatest. I had the pleasure of seeing her perform on three occasions. Three nights I'll never forget.
