Dying & Weaving Seam Binding

There are so many possibilities for fibers to weave in the new Eileen Hull JEWELLOOM! Lisa Townsend shared her project in the Fan Club and I had to get out my seam binding and Catherine Pooler ink refills ink and try dying my own seam binding for weaving.... Join me and see how it goes! We are waiting on another shipment of looms and they should be posted (Friday) tomorrow- thanks to all who purchased the last batch!

I love this. I know I've dyed seam binding in the past with Distress Re-inkers. I use a curling iron to run the seam binding through to dry & press it. Been a long time, I think I have still have some in my fiber bin.

I was surprised at how vibrant the ink was with the Catherine Pooler refills but assume any inks would be just as good. It's addicting!

How do you add beads to it? Just sew them on?
