Thank You! The pollen substitute can also be used to make pollen patties, it's kinda pricey when you buy it from a bee company.

What kind of yeast you using ?
ONLY USE BREWERS YEAST! IF YOU CANT FIND BREWERS YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE USING TORULA YEAST OR NUTRITIONAL YEAST. :) p.s. any other types of yeast will ferment and produce carbon dioxide and alcohol.
this recipe was not attractive to my bees. Do I have to add something to attract bees? for example; essential oil, powdered sugar. thank you so much.
We didn't add anything extra to it, but they won't bother with it if they have access to real pollen.

@@mustafagunesdogdu440 This is 3 years late, but, the real recipe calls for brewers yeast and soy flower. Yeast and wheat is really making it useless for bees.
BREWERS YEAST IS WHAT EVERY POLLEN SUB RECIPIE CALLS FOR DUE TO THE HIGH NUTRITIONAL VALUE AND THE FACT THAT IT WILL NOT FERMET(producing carbon dioxide and alcohol).TORULA YEAST or NUTRITIONAL YEAST are the ONLY substitutes you should use if you can not find Brewers Yeast!
NO DAIRY PRODUCTS AT ALL !
