Manufacturers pushing bigger models to get people to upgrade is also a reason. A few years ago 55" was the standard size. Now some models won't come in less than a 65".
Got a 75” Samsung AU8000 tv. Thing started going out 2 years to the date that i bought it. I got it Black Friday 2022 for about $800. It started cutting off and restarting itself Black Friday this year. Looking to send it to Samsung for maintenance. Hopefully they don’t charge me the price of an entirely new tv just to fix it. I just bought a new 65” TCL tv & got a 4 year warranty on it.
My TV has been packed up. No longer use it. Hasnt it become outdated due to the increase in digital technology like ipads and phones? Content is now available online for viewers with different tastes. But its good if you want a cinematic experience!
i still have a 46" 1080p LCD lol.........but i do have a sick monitor to comensate. And my next TV will be as big as I can fit on the wall in my Living Room lmfao
I agree older people need bigger TVs to read what’s on the screen.

People: “we need 100 inch screen TVs.”
Also people: “we can’t afford milk and eggs.”

yes who cares about resources and future generations
Unless they are made in your country I’d be buying up Chinese made tvs too before dictator trump takes over the Whitehouse
I put a projector in my living room, measured image at 220 inches.
True measure of success, the size of your TV 😮
This sounds like an ad
Big screen need large room or living room
I'm so happy with my projector. Never gonna buy a TV again.
Only reason large tvs come down in price is the internal parts are lower quality.

Bigger TV to watch the new live action Snow White! It's going to be sweet.
