    The loud crack these gloves produce when you strike a heavy bag or focus mitt is intoxicating and addicting!

    Used hybrid and these training this week and I much prefer these in 12oz, padding is great and much more comfortable inside than other models, thumb a little awkward bit ok for me, wrist support is best I’ve used

    • @SecondsOutFightStore
      @SecondsOutFightStore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good feedback thank you! Yeh the more I play about with them the bottom of the thumb is a little tight. I reckon taking a rolled up tea towel and leaving it pushed onto that area overnight would stretch the leather a bit to allow a bit more room 😊👊

    Do you consider these gloves to be some of the best when it specifically comes to hitting a super heavy bag with hard hitting punches? For hand/knuckle protection.

    I'm thinking of getting either the Cleto Reyes High Precision Boxing Gloves 10oz, or the Traditional Lace Training gloves in 12oz. Which would you recommend for bag/mitt work?? I worry the traditional lace gloves will be heavier than the 12oz that they're meant to be.

    • @802deano
      @802deano 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      10oz in these will be very tight unless you have very small hands, I would go up one size to what you used to.

    I heard the Cleto Reyes Traditional lace up Training Gloves aren’t built great can you give your thoughts on that? Also just subscribed great videos

    • @SecondsOutFightStore
      @SecondsOutFightStore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, thanks for subscribing much appreciated 😃👊
      The build quality on all Reyes globes is incredible and very durable. The traditional fight gloves are the only ones that aren’t as durable because they’re only meant to be used for 30 rounds of boxing. Apart from that everything should be great quality 👌

    Great video, I subscribed! Do you think most guys hands will fit in 10 oz Cleto Reyes High Precisions? I really want a 10 oz glove for the heavy bag.

    • @SecondsOutFightStore
      @SecondsOutFightStore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah thank you for the support! 😊🙌
      I found the 14oz a tight fit so reckon the 10’s will be incredibly snug. But what you can do is get a rolled up tea towel and push it into the glove where it’s tight, leave it overnight and that should help stretch the leather a little to allow more room to get your hands in 😊

    • @802deano
      @802deano 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve just tried a few different pairs, I have medium to small hands and 14 was tight but I would still go with a 12 just, the hybrid in small which is 8-10oz was perfect for me, felt like it was moulded to my hands, they are completely different shapes

    • @timzusa
      @timzusa 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@802deano the problem with other Cleto Reyes gloves is that they usually weight 2 ounces over the stated weight. The High Precision is much more true to weight. I guess 12 oz is the lowest I could get away with on the High Precision gloves.

    Hey man,
    What's the smallest 16oz glove? My son is 12 and he's going to start sparring (boxing) and we're looking for literally the smallest 16oz glove. Like most compact. Thanks

      I’d probably lean towards Fly gloves mate they’re snug and compact fitting. Great for kids that need a 16oz 👊

      Rival gloves have smaller compartments. I bought some 16oz Fly Gloves and the hand compartment feels HUGE to me. Try the Rival RS1 Ultra 2.0

  • @David-yp5jf
    @David-yp5jf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you hit the heavy bag with these? I have the regular training glove and it can a bit rough on the hand and wrist. Is this model better for hand protection and Wrist support for the heavy bag?

    • @JerreMuesli
      @JerreMuesli 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These gloves are stiff as a board and give good wrist support. A lot of people prefer these gloves for bag work instead of sparring.

      These are perfect for muay thai, heavy bag and thai pads. Snappy crrrack!

    • @JerreMuesli
      @JerreMuesli 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@melgm002 snappy crack indeed, but unfortunately also uncomfortable due to the thumb piping. You can't really make a proper fist without cutting off blood circulation in your thumb (I have the 16oz). It gets a bit better after a while but it's something to take into account because breaking them in can take some time.
