I mean, she may lack empathy for her employee. But front of the house team is a mess too. If you know fully well that 60% of your guests are Chinese and you work in a Chinese restaurant, how can you not learn Chinese. I am on her side on this one. It is ridiculous how shameless her husband and the woman is and that the chef has to speak to the customers herself during a service
Regardless, Im sure portions of it is for the added "drama" of this show. Even some of the questions asked by the customers sounded so random and awkward
@@BoiceInPink most of it are scripted for the spice of the show but she still get a lot of hate. Though I admit this scenario is normal in the kitchen. I worked in a fine dining before.
I completely agree..she may not be the best boss but her waiters? are so ignorant (in the last episode the lady waiter said 'i'll just speak in korean it's fine' like sis are u stupid) ofc it'll take time to study but they should make the effort to learn or atleast know basic terms used everyday it's not that difficult if u make an effort. I'm sure their boss must be under so much stress cause she knows that she can't depend on her team for everything
Chinese speaker here. The questions they asked were really dumb/awkward 😅 it's definitely scripted. I'm sure they do get some questions but probably very rarely. The restaurant is in a hotel so the customers are mostly international/Chinese tourists, who will be able to communicate in a bit of English/Korean as well in order to navigate the rest of Seoul
I always think that there's possibility of this side of her is fabricated. Just for the sake of entertainment content you need to spice it up a bit right ? 😂

Plz bring the chef back them to the show they r funny af🤣
That girl employee is really making me uncomfortable.
Poor and cheap reward 😅
It should be deserve bigger prize honesty. A humble price is the best one like bonus cash or day off something like that.
贏了卻像輸了,哈哈哈~
Learn Chinese well. Who knows that language would be a huge help in his career, not just skill to make good food.
A gift but not what you would want😳
😂😂🤣🤣,其實我也覺得應該要學中文較好,至少多1-2是會聽說的,因為是做中式料理,而且聽說很多中國人去韓國居住,所以這是需要的

That's not a gift that's investment on your chef so the restaurant is better (service)
