I miss those pre season magazines that come out in late June -to mid/late July I loved getting those especially ones who had a gator player on the cover lol

Johnson’s running style seemed to change last year. He repeatedly ran laterally instead of attacking holes. Saw it again in the spring game. It’s hard for me to believe it was an injury issue. Unless he strained his awareness muscle or something idk.

No question, Trey Wilson should have been on that list. That was a foolish to stupid miss, worst bone-head error. Jake Slaughter, also nuts not to put him on the list. I think both of these guys are going to make him eat his hat, so to speak. Cam Jackson definitely also should have been on the list. As far as Graham Mertz, maybe the fact that everyone gave him so little credit prior to the 2023 season, twists their brain to where they can't bring themselves to consider him as quality a QB as he managed to be. Princely - he was poorly played by his coaches. Over and over. They never seemed to learn and wasted a real diamond. I think he has a real chance to be a star in the NFL.

We'll see how much Umanmielen plays for Ole Miss! I believe he's overrated... but now, after trashing the Gator coaching staff, he better have a productive year.

@@markvanetten314 Any idea how good the Ole Miss coaching staff (defensive coordinator, edge coach...) is? Like, have they turned out quality edge rushers? Or, if they come in off the portal, do they improve, and do they get drafted into the NFL? The sad thing for P.M. is that the current Gator's defensive coaching staff may be considerably better than last year... Wait! what TF am I saying, of COURSE they'll be better than last year. Hell, my high school coaching staff... well, maybe that's an exaggeration some... Anyway, we may not totally agree on whether he's overrated or was underutilized, but we agree that, after saying unfriendly things about coaching and development, he does kinda need to produce this year.
