Here's a mistake, doing the math jack gets 2.5 Million, not 250k, 250k is both 1% cut and the entrance fee of the run, so no, Matt dosen't have the better reward. Just in case for amy confusion
Sam cleary explains (in the PS3/360/PC versions) that "The purse is $25 million" and that she will give him a 10% cut if he wins. 10% of $25,000,000 is $250,000. Do the math.
The story itself in the Wii version is good, but because of the limitations you know what the result was... Anyway, I really liked the Wii version, I would pass it on again, but my disk died :(
The Run, as a whole, is very underrated in my opinion. Yeah, gameplay is a bit barebones and the online doesn't exist anymore, but I do like the story aspect of this game, since this is the first game in the series iirc to implement a plot of this magnitude. Funny story. I have both versions of The Run: The EA Black Box version (Xbox 360), and the Firebrand Games version (3DS). However, I've only beaten the 3DS version. This is because the last time I played the X360 version back in 2015, I got scared as *_hell_* (understatement btw) by the intro cutscene where Jack is about to get squished by the car crusher. That cutscene traumatized my 14-year old mind that I never even touched the X360 version ever since. I still have that version (and someone stole my 3DS version), and I've grown, but that intro scene still unnerves me to this day. I should get around to play the X360 version, because I heard it's pretty gud. But I digress. Nice video! It kinda makes sense that both versions have several similarities, but have enough differences to make it a seperate storyline.
Nice I also have this game for my 3DS, and still play it, it's a very fun game. My favourite car in The Run for the 3DS is the 1991 Audi Quattro 20V Turbo with Mesh rims.
16:28 umm... San Francisco has two bridges... In the PS3/X360/PC version the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge while the Wii/3DS version is the Golden Gate Bridge
I think that the Wii/3DS version has a better story than the big versions, but thanks to the comic book style cutscenes, no one gave the story a chance.
Both are great games, I enjoy playing The Run on 3ds and the ps3. Also when Matt says the cops ride horses in Canada, the RCMP have cruisers and The Run stage 2 would be very fun if it was based in Canada. Starting in Toronto, then Saskatchewan, Calgary then after North west Territories. Where the RCMP are going to take over the pursuit as they are government agents. And scanning every place in the area of the North West Territories.
Not much doubt about this game , where I enjoyed this game's experience in Challenge Series as compared to story mode , but I've installed the game in My Computer i.e in Desktop .
Oh god I hated the 360 version...... yet played through it twice because I'm actually insane. Literal only good things were progression and handling (latter of which I absolutely love and is the only reason i still play). Story was so damn fucked it shouldn't have happened.
